Work of Strengthening of Tower Stubs and Increasing Chimney Height of 132 KV Parichha-Moth Line

(1) Repairing, strengthening of damaged / rusted Stubs of tower of 132 KV Parichha-Moth Line of Tower No.81 (01 No Stub) , 83 (01 No Stub),84 (02 No Stubs),87 (02 No Stubs),90 (01 No Stub),91 (01 No Stubs),97 (01 No Stub),98 (02 No Stubs),99 (02 No Stubs),115 (03 No Stubs),116 (01 No Stub),118 (01 No Stub),120 (01 No Stubs),142 (01 No Stubs),148 (01 No Stubs),157 (02 No Stubs). (1.1) Digging the earth around the chimney and breaking the chimney from above 1000 mm below the ground level by the help of stone breaker and including removing of earth & rust part from the stub for making suitable lap joint to each stub. (1.2) Making of 2 Nos. cleats of proper length suitable for inner and outer surface of stub from galvanized steel angle of size 130X130X8 mm or 100X100X8 mm ( proper size for Stub) by cutting and drilling holes etc. (1.3) Fixing the inner and outer cleats on damaged/rusted stub in middle by making suitable holes of size corresponding to cleats & proper tightening with Nuts & bolts. (1.4) Applying of two coat anti rust paint on repaired stubs.

Remaking and increasing chimney height of size 450X450 mm up to length of 15 mm by using cement, concreate in ration 1:2:4 of cement, sand and 20 mm aggregate after placing proper shuttering . It will also include back filling of excavated earth proper curing & removal of all shuttering.
