Carrying out Earth electrode resistance Test at various locations complete all as per the following :-

(a) Methodology

Fall of potential method/Stakeless method as per site condition and as directed

(b) Meter to be used

Variable Voltage and Variable Frequency Meter as required and directed (Make: Megger/Fluke)

(c) Audit Report to be submitted consisting of

(i) Earth electrode resistance table

(ii) Comparison of measured resistance with calculated resistance

(iii) Earth grid resistance

(iv) Obervations on health and condition of earth electrode

(v) Recommendation

(vi) Executive summary

Carrying out continuity test between two Electrodes complete all as per the following :-

(a) Methodology

Impedence measurement kit / Digital Low Resistance Ohmmeter

(c) Audit Report to be submitted consisting of

(i) Table of measured impedence between two electrodes and calculated impedence

(ii) Pin point discontinuity between two earth electrodes

Carrying out continuity test between Electrode / Earth Grid and connected equipment complete all as per the following :-

Checking the health of existing Lightning Protection System (LPS) and designing internal LPS and external LPS in compliance of IS/IEC 62305 for 06 buildings at AFS Hakimpet and AFS Begumpet all as under:-

(a) Methodology

(i) Data collection for all structures.

(ii) Physical observation and tests on existing LPS system.

(iii) Type of and number of air terminals.

(iv) Down conductor condition.

(v) Down conductor continuity test on sample basis.

(vi) Soil resistivity test on sample basis.

(vii) LPS earth electrode resistance test on sample basis.

(viii) Risk assessment.

(ix) Design Of LPS system.

(x) Elevation drawings Of structures with proposed LPS.

(xi) Detailed bill Of materials for LPS and SPD.

(b) Design Report to be submitted consisting of

(i) Observation & test results Of existing lightning protection system

(ii) Screen Risk assessment

(iii) Details Of structures requiring external And internal protection

(iii) Structure elevation drawings showing details of proposed LPS

(iv) Detailed bill of materials for LPS and SPD

(v) Recommendation

(vi) Executive Summary

Hard copy of Audit / Design Report complete all above including design Folder (03 Copies) and Estimation shall be submitted as per Time Schedule.

NOTES :- (a) The bidder shall ensure that the design of earthing shall be in such way that to achieve the earth resistance value will be less than one ohm on all climatic conditions continuously at least for Ten years in all locations mentioned in the schedule.

(b) The bidder has to clearly mention three to four makes of the different components of the system conventional,chemical or any new version of the earthing system. In case the recommendation is only for a particular brand(proprietary item) a certificate of undertaking duly authenticated from the firm should also submitted along with the recommendation and test results

(c) Carrying out soil investigation to assess the various parameters of the strata/various type of equipment and installed machineries to finalise the type, system, composition and quantity of materials and chemicals required to achieve the earth resistance value less than one Ohm in all climate continuously at least for 10 years in the locations. The details of soil examinations the results, protocol, and the obtained values in tabulated form along with the clear technical specification of each type of earthing suits to different location mention here before to achieve and maintain the desired results continuously for a period of not less than 10 Years. The bidder has to clearly to mention three to four makes of the different components of the system conventional, chemical or any new version of the earthing system.

(d) Any clarification raised by User/Engineer in Charge on final report shall be promptly addressed by the bidder

(e) The rate quoted for the above shall include required number of site visits of the Engineers/technical expert of the firm during the investigation and at the time of execution by the same firm or by any other agency to ensure the quality of workmanship so as not to leave any chance of dispute over the chemical materials or workmanship.

(f) The report submitted shall not share published to any other agency and all the details must be treated as confidential.

(g) The rate quoted shall include to provide the required instruments,tools,equipments and manpower for excavation/digging and making good the area after conducting the investigation by the firm

(h)The required number of earth pits and confirguration of the pits within the space available/allotted for earthing along with coloured drawing shall also submit with the report.
