| 1.00 | Sch 'A' PART I (PROVN OF AC PLANT) Scope of Work :- Designing, supplying, instaling, testing and commissioning of chilled water type central air conditioning plant of capacity 120 TR consisting of (2 X 60 TR working + 1 x 60 TR standby) or nearest higher size chiller complete for 24 hrs operation to maintain designed conditions as per user data sheet attd as Appendix 'A' inside the rooms & premises as per building layout drawing including chilling units, chilled water pump , Hot water pumps, condenser water pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, condenser water piping, chilled water piping, electrical panel, cabling, ducting work, humidifier, dehumidifier for mainten desired RH, hot water generator, hot water piping etc.
Note - (i) Capacity of Chiller plant, pumps, cooling tower, AHUs, Hot Water generator,piping,Electric panel, cabling including all stainless steel structure / PCC mounting arrangement for MS pipes, ducts & makeup tanks etc shall be deemed under quoted rate in this item by the bidder to achieve the desired parameters as mentioned in Appx A as attd .
(ii) Validation of all clean room using recalibrated digital particle counter for all the parameters ie temperature, humidity, static pressure & particle count at table top level, floor level & at drill level and the result will be submitted to the department in triplicate. This shall be witnessed by the Engr-In-Charge & User Rep. (iii) Layout plan of Central AC Plant showing position of all machineries and equipments is to be provided by contractor within 15 days of acceptance of contract & approved by CWE. (iv) Drawings of duct layout,piping & instrumentation layout & electrical cable layout is to be submitted within 15 days of acceptance of contract as per Para 'H'.
(v) Necessary complete civil work as required including foundation of all equipments, opening of walls, floors, etc shall be including in the Scope of work.
(vi) Underground pipes shall be supported with PCC/bricks of suitable size as per site condition.
(vii) Disturbed surfaces are to be made good by contractor as per existing as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.
(viii) Any other connected work not mentioned above but considered necessary for maintaining the designed conditions of all buildings shall be deemed to be included in the above work. (ix) Digital temperature and RH measuring sensor and RH & temperature control shall be installed in AHU room and all rooms (x) Electrical cables are to be laid as per MES SSR 2020 Specifications.

| 1.01(A) CHILLER UNIT:- Designing, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Micro – Processor based water Cooled Scroll Chiller Machine (2 Nos both working and 01 No standby) each of minimum capacity 60 TR each or higher side as per OEM standard comprising of multi circuit hermetically sealed scroll type compressor having automatic capacity control, HP/LP & oil pressure cut out, shell and tube type water cooled condenser DX/Flooded with automatic microprocessor based starter panel as per OEM suitable for operation on Non CFC refrigerant (R-410a/R407c) complete in all respect. The chiller shall confirm to the following requirements/specifications:- (i) Chiller water inlet/outlet temperature : 12/5 degree celsius. (ii) Overall COP of AC plant should be greater that 3 minimum COP of chiller should not be less than 4.8 at AHRI condition. (iii) Power consumption less than 0.85KW/TR-0.78KW/TR @100% load. (iv) Test standard : ARI 550/590. (v) Condenser water inlet/outlet temp 32/36 degree centigrade. (vi) Foundation shall be as per OEM recommendations. (vii) Unit capacity reduction step in percentage : 33/66/100. (viii) Any other technical details as per OEM standard. | ||||||||
| 1.02(B) PUMPS:- (i) Designing, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Monoblock, self-priming, single stage centrifugal Chilled Water Pump of minimum capacity 1230 LPM and 24 mtr head, working at 100% capacity each for AC plant with bronze impeller, carbon steel pump Shaft, CED coated CI body, mechanical seal, deep grove ball bearing, with suitable HP, TEFC squirrel, induction motor (IE-2 efficiency) with class ‘B” insulation, 2900 RPM synchronous speed, operating at 415_+ 10% Volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz AC supply. Necessary mounting MS frame work with anti-vibration pad & foundation work complete as required. (1 Working + 1 Standby). (ii) Designing, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Monoblock, self-priming, single stage centrifugal condenser water Pump of minimum capacity 1540 LPM and 20 mtr head, working at 100% capacity each. For AC plant with bronze impeller, carbon steel pump Shaft, CED Coated CI body, mechanical seal, deep grove ball bearing, with suitable HP, TEFC squirrel, induction motor (IE-2 efficiency) with class ‘B’ insulation, 2900 RPM synchronous speed, operating at 415_+ 10% Volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz AC supply. Necessary mounting MS frame work with anti-vibration pads and foundation work complete as required (1 Working + 1 Standby). | 1.03(C) HOT WATER GENRATION (HWG) :- Designing, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of electrically OPERATED Hot Water Generator / modular heat pumps of minimum capacity 120 KW (03X40kW Working x1X40KW Standby 4No.), working at 100% capacity in combination. Electric Hot water Generator complete with scroll compressors, Air Cooled condenser with copper tubes and aluminium fins, Water Side heat exchanger of Shell and Tube / BPHE/ Co Axial Tube in Tube type as per manufacturer's design, Refrigerant piping fittings, valves, accessories to inter connect compressor, condenser, chiller and expansion valve and factory charged R410A refrigerant. insulation Emersion type Heater, control panel and all controls etc for winter heating with suitable controls for automatic function for maintaining temperature and humidity as specified throughout the year with control panel with control wiring, safety device etc complete with necessary foundation, electric connection, earthing pipe work, insultation etc complete all as per site requirement and directed by Engr-In-Charge/GE. Inlet water temp/Outlet water temp : As per OEM. he equipment shall be capable of operation from -10 to 43 Deg C DB ambient temperature. | 1.04(D) COOLING TOWER :- Designing, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Induced draft counter flow, vertical discharge type FRP Cooling tower- 01 No of capacity not less that 120 TR flow rate should not be less than 1800 LPM working at 100% capacity with ultra-violet treated durable & highly efficient PVC fittings with integral louvers and drift eliminators, open pan suitable for water distribution complete with hot FRP water basin. The hot water shall be distributed to fills in each cell via pen type gravity type basin or with spray nozzles of having self rotating sprinklers. Cooling tower shall be provided with statically and dynamically balanced one no, anti-corrosion treated axial flow type fan- direct driven of driven through special beveled reduction gear box with TEFC induction motor, IE-2, suction screen, make up and quick fill arrangement, overflow and drain connections and suitable inspection hot-dipped galvanized ladder, access arrangement for cooling tower interior, anti-vibration mountings etc complete as required. (G) Y – STRAINER:- Designing, supply, Installation and Testing of Y Strainer ductile CI Body flanged ends with stainless steel strainer suitable for PN 1.6 working pressure for chilled/hot water circulation including insulation as required at site.
(H) POT STRAINER:- Designing, supply, Installation and Testing OF Pot strainer in main condenser pipe line header near cooling tower as required.
(I) THREE WAY MOTORIZED VALVES:- Designing, supply, Installation and Testing of three way motorized valves with modulating motor in cooling/heating coil of air handling units as required of various size including control wiring etc complete required.
(J) FLOW SWITCH/FLOW METER:- Designing, supply, Installation and Testing of flow switch of brass. Polymer construction with necessary arrangement including control wiring etc complete as required.
(K) Designing, supply & fixing of industrial type Pressure gauges with gun metal/Brass construction isolating valve complete with all accessories as required dial type pressure gauge with probe suitable for binder test point.
(L) Designing, supply, fixing of industrial type mercury in glass industrial type thermometers with gun metal/brass construction isolating valve probe suitable for binder test point application with Brass construction, Nitrile sealing bushes, max operating pressure of 16 bar & max. Working temperature of 110 deg Celsius as required.
(M) Auto Air- Purge Valve:- Designing, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Auto Air- purge valve of brass construction of suitable dia (Air Vent will be fitted with an isolating ball valve-gun-metal/brass construction) etc complete as required at site.
(N) FLEXIBLE CONNECTION:- Designing, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Flexible connector for pipe of required Dia. All connections having PN 16 working pressure with anti vacuum rings complete with flanges, nuts, bolts, seal etc. to be installed at chiller suction and discharge.
(O) DRAINAGE WATER PIPES :- Designing, Supplying, Fixing, Testing and commissioning of G.I medium class ‘B’ water pipes as per IS 1239 of required size along with necessary clamps, fittings such as bends, tees etc. adequately supported etc. compete as required.
(P) EXPANSION TANK, 2000 LTR CAPACITY (MINIMUM) :- Designing, Supply, Installation, Testing of open type expansion tank of capacity as per design requirement, of MS Construction made of minimum 6 mm thick mild steel sheet duly insulated with 50 mm thick EPS TF quality insulation density shall be 16 Kg/Cum & finally covered with 26 G aluminum sheet complete including with connection over flow and drain 40 mm dia. Make up tank with makeup connection with float valve drain valve and incoming line valves, vent connections, valves and fittings as required.
(Q) MAKE UP WATER TANK:- Designing, Supply & Installation make up water tank of capacity 01 No of minimum 5000 Ltr capacity each, PVC double layer complete in all respect with connection, over flow and drain. Make up connection with float valve, drain valve, incoming line valves and fittings as specified including civil works as required and directed.
(R) CONDENSER WATER PIPES :- (i) Designing, Supplying, Fixing, Testing and Commissioning of condenser water/pipes of MS “C” class of various sizes and materials along with necessary clamps, vibration-isolators and fittings such as bends, tees etc the disturbed surface adequately supported on rigid supports/including painting of pipes, and making good to the disturbed surface as required. NOTE:- (i) The pipes of sizes 150mm & below shall be M.S heavy class as per IS: 1239 and pipes of sizes 150mm shall be welded black steel pipe heavy class as per IS: 3589, from minimum 6.35 mm thick M.S. sheet for pipes upto 350 mm dia & from minimum 7mm thick M.S. sheet for pipes of 400 mm dia & above. (ii) Designing, Supplying, Fixing, Testing and commissioning of valves, gauges and strainers for condenser water circulation of sizes and nos. as required Connection with float valve, drain valve, incoming line valves and fittings as specified including civil works as required and directed. (iii) Necessary connection may be taken for water supply from nearest tapping point as directed by Engineer-in-charges and further connection with necessary size of pipe, valves, support etc for each equipment shall be provided by the contractor.
(S) AIR DISTRIBUTION WORKS:- (i) SUPPLY AND RETURN AIR DUCTS:- (a) Designing, Supply, Installation, Balancing and commissioning of GSS sheet metal rectangular ducting make out of GSS sheet of 20-24 gauge with supports as per IS: 277 and fabrication as per IS-655 complete with neoprene rubber gaskets, elbows, splitter dampers vanes & damper for fresh air etc as per site requirement. (b) Designing, Supplying, Installation, Testing and commissioning of fire dampers as required at site. (c) Designing, Supplying, Installation of powder coated aluminum section supply air grill, fresh air grill with volume control damper, bird screen and return air grill without damper competes as required at site. Note:- (a) Detailed tonnage calculations and layout drawing of CFM for Duct design for building shall be vetted from any Govt Engineering College/NIT and design shall be approved by CWE Agra after acceptance of tender before execution. Execution of work shall be done as per approved drawings. Layout drawing shall be submitted by contractor duly vetted from any Govt Engg College for approval from CWE. (b) Hanging of ducts with suitable size MS angle iron/channel MS-rod/fastener as per standard engg practice as required at site.
(T) ACOUSTIC AND INSULATION WORKS :- (i) Designing, Supply and Fixing acoustic insulation to duct will be done upto 5mtr of supply air duct from canvas connection of AHU, acoustic lining of plenum with 15 mm thick Acoustic insulation with open cell nitrile rubber (class””) material of density 140-180 Kg/M3 & thermal conductivity of 0.047 W/mK having antifungal and antimicrobial properties to be applied using manufacturer’s recommended Rubber based Adhesive, as per the approved specification. The material should be FM Global Approved & UL 94 approved. (ii) Designing, Supplying and Fixing of 19 mm thickness Thermal Insulation for Ducts indoor portion with closed cell class “O’ Nitrile Rubber Elastomeric Insulation of Density 40-60 Kg/M3 , Thermal Conductivity of 0.038 W/mK and > 7000 and with factory laminated Aluminum Foil on duct after applying two coats of cold seting adhesive (the joints shall sealed with 50 mm wide and 3 mm thick nitrile tape complete as required.
(U) ELECTRICAL WORKS :- Designing, supplying, Installation, Testing & commissioning of cubical type floor mounted front operated Main HVAC electrical /control panels-3 No for AHU electrical Control panels and 1x Main Panel as per site requirement (CPRI tested) confirming to IEC- 61439 & IS – 8623 suitable for 415V, 3 Phases, 4 Wire 50 Hz AC supply system fabricated in compartmentalized design with CRCA sheet street of 2mm thick for frame work and covers, 3mm thick for gland powder coating in approved shade, having required Amp, capacity extensible type TPN Aluminum Alloy bus bars suitable rating Neutral of high conductivity, DMC/ SMC bus bar supports, with short circuit withstand capacity of 35kA for 1 sec, bottom base channel of MS section not less than 100mm x 75mm x 5mm thick, fabrication shall be done in transportable section, of suitable rating 04 Nos Al Bus bar interconnection & and control wiring including the cost of connection through bus bar / copper conductor flexible connection with necessary interlocking as per requirement with PVC insulated FRLS copper conductor Single Core cable, cable alleys, cable gland plates in two half, including providing switch gears as per design and approved by Engr-in- charge/GE.
(l) CABLES, WIRE & END TERMINATIONS:- (i) Designing, Supply, laying testing and commissioning of various sizes of XLPE insulated PVC sheathed round wire armored aluminum conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade on cable tray / surface including clamps, ties etc. as required and specified. (ii) Designing, Supply and making end termination with suitable size gland and aluminum lugs for various sizes of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed /XLPE aluminum conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade as required and specified. (iii) Designing, Supply & fixing of control wiring /power cabling with various sizes of copper conductor armored cable, making connection etc. as required and specified. Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning in replacement of LT panel board design as per IS/IEC 61439-1 for 415 volts, 50 Hz rated fault level 65 KA with internal arc containment with IP 54 protection rupturing capacity at 415 volts, factory made in as approved factory having seven tank treatment process for powder coating with thickness not less than 60 microns with paint shape RAL -7035 provided with suitable gasket to make it dust/vermin proof & general construction comprising of following :-
(a) OUTER SHELL : The outer steel shall be made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet steel & MS angle section 50x50x6 mm frame with front and back openable, double door system lockable / openable by keys from both sides having flush pattern fency locks with louvers & sir vent gasket for natural flow of air "U" type gasket shall be used to make the outer shell completely vermin proof. The bottom of outer shell contains a detachable plate having provision for entry of armoured cable of adequate size with glands. The dimension of the outer shell should be adequate to accommodate inner shell described below giving 75 to 100 mm space all around & shall be fabricated in such a way that the complete inner shell alongwith its control gears & accessories could be taken outsite without disturbing out shell. Provision of threaded earthing stud at bottom & lifting lugs of suitable size at top to lift the panel, safety shall be made with degree of protection of outer shell be IP -56, computer out self adhesive vinyl danger notic plate having conventional symbol of bone & skulll be provided.
(b) INNER SHELL :- Inner shell made out of 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet duly compartmentalised for each control gear, front & back openable single door system lockable / openable keys from both sides having chromium plated 19 mm dia fancy locks (02 Nos in each compartment having loouvers & air vent gasket for natural flow of air, "U" type gasket shall be used to made the inner shell completely vermin proof & to accommodate incommer/out going MCCBs and electrical grade aluminium for rated continuos current of 630 Amps for main bus bar with 65 KA short time current (rms) for 1 Sec & 105 KA (Peak) rated dynamic short circuit with stand with heat shrinkable sleeves alongwith shoulder for joints & earth bus bar of aluminium 50x10 sqmm size (Minimum ) with short circuit rating of 30 KA per sec duly colour coded shall be mounted on suitable size "F" class insulator made of nonhygroscopic, noncumbustile, track resistant high strength FRP/SMC/DMC material at an interval not less than 500 mm through out the length of the TPN busbar. The cubical incomer MCCB as well as out going shall have aluminium TPN extension links of current carrying capacity not less that 1.5 times the rated capacity of indidual feeder. The extension links shall not be less than 300 mm long supported on suitable size "F" class insulator made of non hygroscopic, noncumbustile, track resistant high strength FRP/SMC/DMC material at interval not less than 500 mm through out the length of the TPN bus bar. The cubical incommer MCCB as well out going shall have aluminium TPN extension links of current carrying capacity not less then 1.5 time the rated capacity of individual feeder, the extension links shall not be less than 300 mm long supported on suitable size F Class insulator made of non hygroscopic, noncumbustile, track resistant high strength FRP/SMC/DMC material having provision for termination of incomer & Outging cables. All inter connections between the bus bar as well as outgoing feeder shall be carried out with TPN copper busbar of rating not less than 1.5 times rated capacity of individual outgoing feeder & should be insulated with heat shrinkable PVC sleeves.
All control wires shall be with 2.5 Sqmm multistranded copper conductor and shall be properly bunched, tied, ferruled for proper identifacation and crimped with adequate size of copper lugs. The cubical shall have a bottom channel of size 75x40 mm duly coated with zinc metal coating having thickness not less 100 microns. A detachable predrilled gland plate of thickness 3.15 mm powder coated should be used at the bottom. The inner shell should be powder coated siemens grey structural RAL7032 shade. An inspection lamp LED 5 watt with movable non ferrpus chromium plated arm fitted on top side of inner shell should be provided. The degree of protection for inner shell shall be IP -42 & carry the following controls :-
INCOMING : (a) Supply and fixing of MCCB, 4 pole, 630 Amps, 415 Volt, with microprocessor release Icu = 36 KA & Ics =100% Icu with adjustable over load setting (minimum 70% to 100%) as per IEC - 60947-I and 60947-2 standard Qty - 01 Nos. (b) Digital panel meter for Amp,volt,KWH,PF and other parameters flush mounting of size 96x96 mm.-01 No.
OUTGOING : (c) Supply and fixing of MCCB, 4 pole,500 Amps, 415 Volt, with Microprocessor release Icu = 36 KA & Ics =100% Icu with adjustable over load setting (minimum 70% to 100%) as per IEC - 60947-I and 60947-2 standard Qty - 01 Nos. (d) Supply and fixing of MCCB, 4 pole,125 Amps, 415 Volt, with thermal magnetic release Icu = 25 KA & Ics =100% Icu with adjustable over load setting (minimum 70% to 100%) as per IEC - 60947-I and 60947-2 standard Qty - 01 Nos.
M&L in repair for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrodes 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground, earth plate not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including galvanized steel earth strip 25 x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and using charcoal and salt upto plate edge level inlcuding PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, RCC frame with 40 mm thick RCC cover reinforced with 8 mm dia deformed bars handle including excavation and earth work in any type of soil medium grade GI watering pipe 20 mm bore with funnel and wire mesh and light grade GI protection pipe 40 mm bore main board complete all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Pt-I of 2009 connected to equipment and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. NOTES:- (i) On testing, after completion of Job, if desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing shall be redone at without any extra cost by contractor. (ii) Earth lead wire and its protection pipe upto and including 7.50 M from the top of earth electrode are included under this item and additional length if required at site will be measured and paid separately under respective item.
