Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in soft/loose soil each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50 m and making good the disturbed surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in pilasters, buttresses columns, pillars, boundary pillars and posts (including caps and bases) complete all as specified and as directed .

S&F Mild steel posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for 5 to 10mm dia mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square head at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, not exc 5 cm long complete all as specified & directed.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified & directed.

Supply only Chain link MS galvanised fencing, any size or type complete all as specified & directed.

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings etc with ends of bars shouldered and/ or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars and similar work conforming to Fe- 290 ( Gde-E-165) complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The unit rate quoted by contractor is deemed to be inclusive of cutting to dead lenth where required, notching, drilling, fitting, rivetting and/or welding or connecting with bolts and nuts (including rivets or bolt and nuts). No claim whatso ever shall be entertained by Govt on this account.

Preparing new steel surface and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed .

Preparing new steel surface n.exc 10cm in width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over as in reinforcement for concrete, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Galvanised, 2 strand steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc as directed (Each line wire to be measured).

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in CM (1:6) on brick wall / concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of white cement as primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) Type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling, mass concrete and sub base of floors, path/ paving etc complete all as specified & directed.
