REPAIR / MAINT OF STREET LIGHT FITTINGS AND FIXTURE INCL DAY TO DAY COMPLAINTS OF STREET LIGHTS IN INF BDE AT NAMS.

Repair of existing street light of any type or discription, fixed in vertical position with poles/wall including disconnecting the electric connection, removing from pole/wall if required, carrying out minor repairs like disconection of wire/cable,cleaning of carbon on OH line and replacing starter,fuses,drivers,lens plate,choke, bulb,etc as required at site to make the items functional and refixing the same at same location or any other location, connecting with electric feeder and testing for functioning engaging sufficient man power and tool and plant etc to ensure safety of light/pole as well as working persons complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The un-serviceable items shall be replaced under respective items of relevent schedule as below . (ii) The complaint register, complaint slip in duplicate shall also be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost for recording/monitoring of electric supply /street light complaints . (iii) T&P viz tools , ladder any type are provided by the contractor to the electrician party. (iv) Complaint slip will be delivered to the representative of contractor at 9.00 A.M by JE E/M or his rep at AGE E/M yard service centre and same will be handed over back to JE E/M or his rep after completing the job /complaint upto 5.00 PM same day. (v)Complaint petaining to same locations and rectification of fault one point considersd as one job and rectifications of two points at same location will also be measured and paid as one job Similarly more than two will be measured additional job. (vi) If the complaint has not been atteneded within 48 hours, the penality of Rs 150/- per complaint will be recovered from contractor. (vii) In case if the contractor/his rep does not attend the office to recieve complaint from JE E/M or his rep,penality of Rs 500/- per day will be recovered from contractor.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil by not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr depth below ground level for foundation of poles/ stays/cable and getting out complete all as specified .

Returning, filling in, any type of soil and spreading in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each layer including watering & well ramming complete all as specified.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr & depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5mtr above the starting point complete all as specified .

Supply and laying, in replacement, of LT underground cable XLPE insulated, inner PVC sheathed, galvanized steel strip armoured, PVC sheathed electric power cable with stranded compact aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade 25 Sq mm 4 core confirming to IS:7098 (Part-I) with latest amendements, suitable for earthed system laid in duct/trench/along pole etc . Note : 1. The cost of Aluminium thimbles/lugs and cable gland etc is incl in quoted rate and no extra payment will be made for it. 2. Excavation, earth work, DWC protection pipe will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Supply and fixing in replacement thermoplastic outdoor cable junction box hinged/screwed door type of size 200x160x 98 mm for 3 Phase and Nutral incoming cable, 3 Phase and Nutral outgoing cable with terminals and single Phase & Nutral connection for light fitting, 4 pole, 415 volt and one MCB SP 6 Amp, 240 Volt and clamp system (screw less), shock proof safe IP-55, weather proof, rust, dust and water proof internally embedded gasket with provision metric knockouts for cable entry through gland suitable for 16sq mm to 25sq mm cable as required at site complete all as specified & directed.

Painting to PCC pole with two coat of synthetic enemel paint in black & white strip 30 Cm wide each upto 1.5 mtr high from coping the pole all as directed by Engr-in charge

Prunning of trees of over head HT/LT lines by taking proper shutdown & removing the same from site upto a distance of 50 mtr all as directed by Engr in Charge.

Supply and errecting prestressed concrete pole 9.0 mtrs long,102x 172 mm at top and 102 mm x 279 mm at bottom class 10 including dismantling of pole complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, using stone aggregate 40mm graded as in foundation for electric poles and making of cable duct including necessary form work where required and fair finish to the exposed surfaces all as specified & directed.

All as per Sr items No 20 here in before but PCC 1:2:4 for copping complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement micro prismatic reftective sheet, 50 mm wide, with adhesive base for dirtectly fixing on HT/LT steel tubular/PCC pole without nail or any other fixing material at 1.50 height, in Red, White, Yellow colour complete all as directed.

Material and Labour in replacement straight through joint heats shinkable suitable for upto 25 sqmm LT, 4.0 core 1100 volts XLPE cable type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing inreplacement of aluminium thimble of size for cable10 to 25 sqmm all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for cleaning away all grass vegetation, scapling shrubs bushes under grouth roots and trees not exceding 30 cm grith and removing rubbish upto distance of 50 mtr out the periphery of area under cleaness, existing foliage / grass will be uprooted by machinery / maually as per the requirement and safety of cables complete all as specified and directed.

M & labour for opening the binding from insulators on over head line ACSR coductor on pole and restretching ACSR conductor of any size on LT poles including binding the same with 2mm dia new aluminium binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing old painted surface of panel board by cleaning removing of old paint by scratching with wire brush / sand paper etc and including denting of broken / rusted surface and applied two coat of synthetic surface enamel paint by spray painting outside surface of panel as existing colour of panel all as specified and directed.

Excavationes and relaying cables loops near the poles LT Panels transformers, cutting the damages/burnt parts of cable and reconnecting its into positions complete with thimbles, nut bolts, sleaves all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement 1100 volts grade heavy duty cabel PVC insulated aluminium conductor , served with inner sheating of PVC tape and overall PVC sheated in service connection suspendede twin core cable flat or circular size 4 Sqmm all as sp and directed.

All As per Item 29 here in before but 6 Sqmm, 2 core

Supply and fixing / laying in replacement galvanized iron pipe of 40 mm nominal dia light grade fixed to poles with clamps nuts, bolts and washers or laid under road crossing or fixed to wall including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L fabricating and fixing in replacement of cross arms (any type) supports, bracting, stiffness etc made out of MS channel, angle iron, flat iron of any size including drilling of holes, making clamps, eye hooks, nuts, bolts and washers etc, welding if required including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level, connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4.00 mm dia by means of bolts nuts check nuts & washers of galvanized iron or steel , procteded by GI pipe 15 mm bore( light grade) and watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe (light grade ) and chamber of pcc 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate and coping shall be in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone agg. 50 mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone agg. reinforced with 8 mm dia MS tor bar @ 80 mm c/c both ways including excvation and earth work and removal of surplus soil and connecting to earth up to 6 meter length complete all as shown in electrical plate no 5 of SSR PART 1 , with charcoal dust and salt complete and earth lead connected to earthing test point (up to main switche, DBs) complete all as specified & testing on completion.
