MAINT REPAIR TO ROAD ROAD FURNITURE AT DOMESTIC TECHNICAL AREA OF AFAC UNDER AGE (I) (AF) COIMBATORE

M & L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm depth Exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 10cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of Granite, trap and basalt of grading 1 (90 to 40mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with 8-12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour preparing new WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer over @ 7.5 Kg/10 Sqm with VG-30 bitumen on new WBM surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content (using bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant using design mix, and laid with mechanical paver and rolled and compacted using 8 to 12 tonne capacity vibratory tandom power road roller to achieve the required compactness , to required camber & gradient complete including cutting of edges of roads straight and site clearance all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer over @ 7.5 Kg/10 Sqm with VG-30 bitumen on old black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content (using bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant using design mix, and laid with mechanical paver and rolled and compacted using 8 to 12 tonne capacity vibratory tandom power road roller to achieve the required compactness , to required camber & gradient complete including cutting of edges of roads straight and site clearance all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded stone road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) using roller and applying a tack coat @ 5 kg/10Sqm with VG-30 bitumen and bituminous premix semidense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness with paving bitumen of grade VG- 30 with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 ton capacity power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for marking strips, straight line, Zebra crossing and stop line not less than 2mm thick with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint white or yellow by using automatic mechanical road painting machine complete all as specified and directed. S&F in repair solar stud made out of aluminum housing and precast construction solar powered SIMENS monocrystal solar panel 2 v 120 MA type of battery NI-CD V 2500 MA H & flash rate 2 Hz or 70 Hz view distance over 300 mtr fitted with 2 Hz EL 805-3 pieces each side on 2 ends total 6 piece LEDs flashing up to 12 hours of light at Night and solar battery automatically charge in day/sun light duly fixed with cement and hardner size of stud 125x125x85mm in red/yellow colours. Supply and fix in repairs delinator made out of 65 mm internal dia MS circular hollow pipe of 750 mm long medium grade ends covered with 150 mm x 150 mm x 3mm thick plate and top end covered with 100x100x2mm thick mild steel kplain sheet, the top portion covred with white and coloured high intensity prismatic grade retro reflective sheeting in 50 mm wide strips of each colour (150mm width), reflective band shall be covered with a protective grill of mild steel wire 2 mm dia and 15mm to 20 mm apreture upto the height of 170 mm duly painted including fixed in ground with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 of size 300mm x 300mm x450 mm including necessary excavation and earth work land painting lto steel surfaces of synthetic enamel balck paint over a coat of redoxide primer completec all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. S & F in repairs Road cat eyes having dual direction (both sides) of aluminium, size 10cm x 10cm with 06 Nos house for containing 42 Nos white mini reflective industrial diamonds with and including mild steel pin 12cm long for fixing on the road complete all as specified and directed.Make of Road Cat Eye : Green Lite/Dark Eye /3M or equivalent as approved by AGE (I)
