Cleaning of overhead water storage tanks upto floor-5 level (Steel/PVC/Concrete) by Six Stage Cleaning Process. ( Work to be got executed from approved license holder) Stage 1- Mechanical Dewatering A manhole and surroundings are to be cleaned off dirt, mud and algae thereafter the water below the foot-valve level shall be pumped out using special dewatering equipment. Stage 2- Sludge / Slit Removal The sludge which has se ttled on the floor of the tank shall be sucked out using sludge pumping equipment including removal of all type of scaling. Stage 3- High Pressure Cleaning The walls and the floor of the tank shall be thoroughly cleaned using special high pressure jet cleaner which rid of the walls and floor off calcinations, silage and all contaminants which cling on the internal surface of the tank helping the micro-biological contamination to grow. Stage 4 – Vacuum Cleaning An industrial vacuum cleaner shall be used to remove the resultant contaminants, making the tank absolutely spec-free. Stage 5 – Anti-Bacterial Spray This is important stage in which the tank shall be made totally sterile from bacteria using approved anti bacterial spray. Stage 6 – UV Radiation The final sterilization and disinfection shall be done by using UV radiation specially developed UV radiator which is used to kill any suspended or floating bacteria remaining in the tank.
