Damp proof course 40 mm thick of cement concrete 1:2:4 using stone aggregate with two coats of bitumen 20/30 penetration, at 1.65 Kg per sqm laid hot and sanded. (HSR 10.114 )

Providing and laying 80mm thick ISI Marked interlocking paver blocks confirming to IS15658:2006 / IRC: SP: 63-2004of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 ovar a bed of 30mm thick fine sand complete in all respect. [HSR 10.159]

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1 : 4 in foundation and plinth (HSR 11.4)

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 in first storey upto 4 metres above plinth level ( HSR 11.9)

Terracing consisting of tiles 22.86 cm x 11.43 cm x 3.81cm laid over 87.50 mm mud filling on a layer of 25 mm mud plaster and an other layer of mud mortar for laying the tiles, including two coats of bitumen laid hot at 1.65 Kg. per sqm on top of RCC the slab including grouting with cement sand mortar 1:3 and top surface to be left clean etc. (HSR 13.13).

Cement Concrete 1:2:4 gola 10cmx10cm quadrant along junction of roof with parapet wall finished smooth, where specially specified (HSR 13.64)

Providing and fixing vitrified tiles of size 600 x 600mm of approved make in flooring laid in any pattern as specified over base of 20mm thick cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade to tiles. Note:- Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, ORIENT, RAK & JOHNSON. (HSR 14.89)

Providing & fixing vitrified tiles of size 600mm x 600mm of approved make in skirting/dados laid in any pattern as specified over base of 12mm thick cement coarse sand mortor 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade to tiles. Note:- Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like: NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, ORIENT, RAK & JOHNSON. (Double charged tiles shall be used as approved by Engineer in charge. (HSR 14.90).

12 mm thick cement plaster 1 : 4 on walls ( HSR 15.5 )

15mm thick cement plaster 1:4 on the rough side of single or half brick wall. (HSR 15.10)

10 mm thick cement plaster 1:4 on under side of ceiling (HSR 15.52)

Preparation of ply wood surface for painting inlcuding sand papering the surface and applying filling with approved quality filler consisting of white lead, linseed oil, varnish and chalk mitti including finishing the surface to required finish complete. Painting on wooden surfaces etc. (Note:- First quality paint/primer of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.1)

Painting two coats excluding priming coat with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new wood work or metallic or plastered or concrete surfaces to give an even shade. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.3).

Painting two coats with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on old wood-work or metalic or plastered or concrete surfaces to give an even shade including rubbing down old paint. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.5)

Applying priming coat with metal primer on new steel or iron work including preparation of surface. Painting on mettalic Surfaces etc. (Note:- First quality paint/primer of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.9).

Painting two coats excluding priming coat with ready mixed paint for matelic sufraces in all shades on new steel or iron work. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.17).

Preparation of plastered or concrete surfaces for painting, including sand papering the surface, applying one coat of linseed oil and filling with approved quality filler, consisting of white lead, linseed oil, varnish and chalk mitti including finishing surface to the required finish, complete. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). Painting two coats with ready mixed emulsion paint in all shades for interior use on bricks, plaster, cement, fibre board etc. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.27)

Steel work in hip and jack rafters, common rafters, purlins etc., with angle iron cleats and other connecting plates. [HSR 18.2]

Wrought iron and mild steel(using angles, flats ,square bars , tee and channels) ladders, grills, gratting frames, window guards, iron doors openable or fixed stair case or parapet or any other type of railing, gates and tree guards etc., including cost of screws and welding rods or bolts and nuts complete fixed in position (HSR 18.12)

Stair case railing of 40mm internal dia G.I. Pipe class 'B' as per I.S. No. 1239 as hand rail using flats and square bars as supporting members and base plate welded as per design specified including cuttung, welding rods and complete fixed in position [HSR 18.13 (a) ]

Steel reinforcement TMT bars FE-500 FQR /FE-500 D grade or more for RCC work, where no included in the complete rate of RCC including straightening, bending vinding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. and placing in position complete in all respects for all heights/depths/storeys/basements etc. (HSR 18.22)

Pressed steel sheet frames (chowkats ), consisting of 2mm thick steel sheet of the specified section,including iron lugs(hold fasts) iron hinges conforming to P.W.D. specifications, including bolts for fixing stops, locknotch, provision for receiving tower bolts, and finished with one coat of ready mixed paint red lead non-setting primer, of approved quality, fixed in position including the cost of cement concrete 1:3:6 for fillings in the frame, and cement concrete 1:3:6 for lugs complete (HSR 18.34) b) Door and window frame of size 76 mm x 38 mm with 35 mm wide single rebate

Door and Window frame of size 127 mm x 50 mm with 40 mm wide double rebate

Preparation of sub grade, including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed. [HSR 24.1]

Providing & fixing 2mm thick PVC Sheet for shed with complete fitting from cover including angle, nut, bolts, paints, pipe excavation of earth work, concrete for foundation etc. complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. ( N.S)

Earth work non plastic or Tibba Sand under floors/Road & Parking taken from outside of campus area with lead and lift including loading, unloading, laid in 15 cm layer including ramming, watering, consolidating, compaction, and compensation of earth etc., complete in all respect as per the direction of engineer in charge. [NS]. (Lead 1 Km.)

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Dismantiling of bricks and Removing of Door and windows in the DNIT. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material after approval from employer. This material will be issued at the price quoted by the agency. However the reserve price is as under:- i) Good Bricks @ 5/- Each

ii) Brick Bats @ 450/- cum

iii) Door @ 800/- Each

iv) Windows @ 500/- Each Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this building. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note:- 1. In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR Items of Civil, P.H. work depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. 2. Only reputed make material will be used (make/brand exhibited in HSR and exhibited in approved standard document) as approved by Engineer-in-charge, while executing various items/works at site.
