INSTALLATION OF PRESSURE GAUGES ( WITHOUT DIAPHRAGM SEAL TYPE)
Scope of work includes taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. The activity includes following operations: a) Installation of Line mounted / vessel mounted or Remote mounted or Local Panel or Gauge Board mounted Pressure gauges ( flush panel mounted or mounted on stanchion) with or without Pulsation Dampener / Siphon / Over range protector/ Flow check valve , isolation valve / two valve manifold etc as per Hook-up standard b) Connection of the pressure gauge to the process line. c) Proper Installation of Pressure gauges in mounting brackets d) Cleaning, Flushing and Hydraulic test of the impulse line for the pressure gauge. Payment for the same is covered in Fabrication and installation of Impulse Pipes. e) Installation with Pre-fabricated with impulse piping arrangement with manifold (as applicable) as per approved hookup drawings g) Supply, stenciling and Installation of Tag plate for instrument as per Installation standard h) If required during installation of gauges, making temporary supports / scaffolding etc. is in contractor's scope of work. i) Any other work not specified above but required for installation of pressure gauge is also in contractor's scope of work. j) Free issue to contractor :- Supply of Pressure gauges, valve manifolds & its accessories , hook-up materials etc

Scope of work includes taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. a) Installation, bolting & tightening of flanged level gauge (various center to center distance & pressure rating) on the vessel or on the stand pipe as the case may be. b) Installation of drain & vent valves on the level gauge. c) Interconnection of level gauge to the vessel or to the stand pipe along with isolation valves. d) Drain & vent valves shall be connected to drain & vent lines. e) In case level gauge body & float are supplied seperately or stoppers are provided for float ,Stoppers should removed & it should be assembled. f) On arrival of equipment, flange rating & centre to centre distance (C-C) to be verified by Contractor. g) Supply, stenciling and Installation of Tag plate for instrument as per Installation standard h) If required during installation of level instrument making temporary supports / scaffolding etc. is in contractors scope of work. i) Any other work not specified above but required for installation of level gauge is also in contractor's scope of work. j) Free Issue to the contractor:- Supply of level gauge, drain & vent valve, gaskets, studs, nuts && gaskets etc.

TEMPERATURE INSTRUMENTS
INSTALLATION OF TEMPERATURE ELEMENTS WITH THERMOWELL (THERMOCOUPLES OR RTDS) & TEST THERMOWELLS
Scope of work includes taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. The activity includes following operations: a) Contractor shall check intergrity of the element & shall also check that temperature element confirm to the specification. b) Generally temperature element is mounted in flanged thermowell & supplied together. If temperature element & thermowell are supplied seperately, contractor shall assemble both the pieces. (Temperature element & thermowell are of various immersion length & pressure ratings) c) Tempearture elements to be installed on the vessel, contractor shall agree to installation procedure with site incharge. d) Install temperature element on the process lines / vessel & tighten studs & nuts. FLOW INSTRUMENTS
INSTALLATION OF ORIFICE PLATE
Scope of work includes taking delivery of orifice plate (if supplied loose) from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc.The activity includes following works a) Installation of the integrated orifice plate assembly (various size) along with the flange assembly (various sizes & pressure rating) in the process line, bolting of gaskets and other similar activities. b) Unused tappings shall be capped. For Hydrocarbon and high pressure steam service, unused holes in orifice flange shall be plugged and seal welded. INSTALLATION OF PREFABRICATED ANALYSER SHELTER WITH ANALYSERS AND FIELD MOUNTED ANALYZERS
This item refers to the installation of pre-fabricated metallic analyser shelter. Inside the shelter, analysers and accessories are already installed (piped / tubed & wired by others). Shelter is supplied complete with: -Signal and Power distibution boxes & associated cabling with cable glands. -Utility distribution network (Inst. air, water ,flare etc.) -Lighting fixtures. -AC/HVAC units with panels and with base frame & pressurising system (i.e blowers) & air intake suction duct. -Sample conditiong systems/ Primary sample conditioning systems. -Calibration ,carrier gas, zero gas cylinders for analysers (as applicable) along with pre-fabricated calibration gas rack with canopy -Gas detectors & Warning panels -Analysers & its control units -Shelter Safeguarding PLC -Liquid validation tanks & validation bottles -Liquid Sample recovery system -Retractable sample probe - Eyewash -Fast Loop Pump skid -Utilty headers with internal utility distribution piping/tubing -F&G Instruments as per requirement - Louvers -MCT blocks -Bulkhead unions -Flame arrestor -Table & chair -Other equipmements & accessories like anchor bolts, grouting plates etc as per project requirement. Each of the above mentioned equipment is installed (except AC/HVAC system) piped/tubed and wired upto tie-in or terminal strips in the junction boxes or switches.
The listed below following activities are to be performed by erection contractor under Supervision of analyser Vendor. Supervision of Erection/Installation by analyser Vendor. a) Taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, handling, unpacking, on site transportation of shleter upto concrete base (provided by others on the site). Scope also includes the transpotation of all loose supplied items from warehouse or place of storage to the site location. b) Installation of the shelter in the correct postion as per project layout drawing/ vendor drawing & fixing the shelter in postion with the anchor bolts & grouting (as applicable) on the concrete base .Contractor shall do necessary chipping of pockts (if required). c) Installation & connection of the those items supplied loose (e.g. retractable sample probes, IJB skid, canopies, AC/HVAC Units with panels, sample tubing/piping between sample take-off probe and the SHS located on shelter, liquid validation tanks, sample recovery system, validation bottles, carrier and calibration gas & zero gas bottles/ cylinders with pre-fabricated rack with canopy ,eye wash, shelter ladder, fresh air duct supports, special tubing like EHT, Pre-Insulated, electropolished and sulfinert coated tubing with their accessories and seal kits, EHT JBs (in field as applicable), anchor bolts, grouting plates, fresh air ducts with bird mesh and LEL Gas detector box, chemical filter assembly, fast loop pump skids ducting between shelter & HVAC units ,gaskets, nuts bolts, etc supplied by analyser vendor). d) Installation of PSHS near tapping points etc. Fabrication of frames for mounting the PSHS and EHT JBs.
e) Study the shortest & optimal route for the sample lines/fast loop and utility lines.Installation of cable tray & tube trays between the sample probe and analyser shelter with supports on route, lay sample lines (EHT/Electropolished/Sulfinert Coated/ Pre-Insulated (pipes /tubes) & fast loops including accessories in accordance with the project drawings. g) Installation of HVAC units or AC supplied supplied loose, which shall be installed together with the air intake duct of the blower and interconnect blower/AC to the air suction duct of the shelter. h) Connection of the utilty headers at the tie-in point of the shelter. i) Signal & power cable supporting, laying, clamping & termination. j) Hydraulic test of sample lines & utility lines as per project requirement. k) Shelter & analyser junction boxes, IJBs, PDBs frames, etc., shall be grounded by means of connection to grouding network with single core copper wire according to the project drawing. l) Contractor shall provide technical assisatnce to the analysers/NIR manufactutrer specialist wherever required for calibration, start up & pre-commissioning & commissioning activities during SAT (site acceptance Test) and model build up of analyser package. m) If required during installation, making temporary supports / scafolding etc. is in contractors scope of work.
n) Supply & erection of pipes/tubes with required fittings between probe & Primeary/Secondary sample handling system, for fast loop returns of sample from SHS to any process lines,Sample Return Tubing / vent and drain tubing / Fast Loop tubing to Plant Vent / Flare from Analyzer Vent / Drain Header, calibration bottles and secondary sample handling system.Total 360 meters tube/pipe length considered between tapping points (for three analysers located inside shelter. For fast loop return common return line considered so another 120 meters added. Approx 20 meters tubing between SHS & Validation tanks/SRS/Vendor & drain headers. Total tube/piping to be considered for analyser package =500 meters (to be supplied and installed by site contractor. o) Loop checking for analog, digital and serial communication signals between Analyzers ,shelters and customer DCS / PLC / ESD. p) Laying and termination of Signal, Power & Communication cables for field analysers,analyser shelters, fast loop pump skids, liquid recovery system skid, IJB skid, Carrier gas rack, HVAC units, sample probe, EHT Jbs etc. q)Laying & termination of Serial communication cables between the Analyzes(located in field cabinets) to Anlyser Shelter. Scope of work includes taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc.
H2 Detectors In field Scope of work includes taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. The activity includes following operations: a) Installation & Fixing of the detector on the mounting stand as per installation manual provided by detector vendor. b) Installation of canopy which is supplied by Detector vendor c) Installation of detector on the supports d) Installation of fire alarm modules , barriers (for IS devices) inside Junction box and connection of non-addressable devices to barriers & modules upto Fire alarm panel. e) Cable trays/conduits installation from instrument to junction box. f) Connection of the Gas Detector to the signal cable. g) Cables installation for connection of instruments up to the junction box h) Calibration / Functional test. i) Supply, stenciling and Installation of Tag plate for instrument as per Installation standard j) If required during installation of gas detector, making temporary supports / scaffolding etc. is in contractors scope of work. k) Any other work not specified above but required for installation of transmitter is also in contractor's scope of work l) Free Issue to contractor: Supply of Detector & cable , glands , tray , Canopies , Calibration kit etc

Scope of work includes taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. The activity includes following operations: a) Installation of Telephone/Acoustic booth/Visual light/Sounder/Loudspeaker/Field call station/Flashing Beacons/Speaker for safe area (including Junction box) on the supports & all associated accessories for telecom system b) Installation of Telecom Equipment / cabinets, instrument & all associated accessories for telecom system c) Equipment erection, alignment and fixing d) Installation of canopy which is supplied by vendor e) Cable trays/conduits installation from devices to junction box and Junction box to cabinet. f) Signal and Power Cables installation for connection of devices up to the junction box and Junction box to cabinet including Gland installation g) Grounding of the devices and its supports as required h) Supply, stenciling and Installation of Tag plate for devices as per Installation standard i) Loop check and Cable testing like megger, continuity test, etc... j) FO cable splicing, termination & testing, under supervision of vendor. k) Structured cabling shall be terminated & tested by Certified technician, under supervision of vendor shall be of contractor's scope. INSTALLATION OF CCTV CAMERA (EX. PROOF ) - PTZ CAMERA & THERMAL CAMERA IN FIELD, DOME TYPE CAMERA CONTROL ROOM & SUBSTATION
This item refers to the installation of CCTV system, each CCTV system consists of CCTV cameras, CCTV system cabinet, Poles for mounting CCTV camera, Junction boxes, CCTV Monitors & interconnecting cables etc. Scope of work includes taking delivery of CCTV system hardware from warehouse or from the place of storage, on-site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. Pole and Cabling Works for Installation of CCTV systems shall be paid separately as per respective items.
Ex Proof CCTV camera along with the accessories such as wiper assembly, Pan & tilt assembly etc., (To be Installed in the field at various locations) CCTV Cameras with Ex proof enclosure and wiper assembly:- The installation work includes following activity a) Collection of CCTV camera along with accessories from warehouse, on site transportation, verify quantity & status of CCTV cameras and its accessories. b) Prefabrication & installation of the supports. These supports shall be welded or bolted to the structures, for fixing supports on concrete structure HILTI I Anchor's shall be used. Supports shall be painted. c) Supply and installation of poles for mounting the CCTV camera is in Contractor's scope d) Installation & fixing of CCTV cameras along with the accessories (such as wiper assembly, pan & tilt assembly, water unit assembly etc.,).Installation will be as per vendor drawing. e) Connection of the cooling water line to the CCTV camera wiper assembly. f) Installation of washer unit tubing assembly shall be in Contractor's scope. Supply and installation of the washer unit stanchion/stand shall be in Contractors scope. g) Connection of the power supply cable and control cable to the CCTV camera. h) Installation & testing of camera shall be done under supervision of CCTV vendor and contactor to provide all the required assistance.. i) Installation of Ex proof junction box with canopy which is supplied by CCTV vendor in which receiver and encoder units are installed on the prefabricated mounting stand. j) CCTV system cabinets and monitors are to be installed at various control room as indicated above. k) Laying, Supporting and clamping of all types of cables (power supply, signal, Video cables, VGA cables and communication cables) termination and testing shall be done under supervision of CCTV system vendor specialist. l) FO cable splicing and termination under supervision of vendor shall be in contractor's scope. m) FO cable conduit shall be supplied and installed by Contractor n) If required during installation of poles for CCTV camera, making temporary supports / scaffolding etc. is in Subcontractors scope of work.. o) Any other activity not indicated above and required for the completion of installation of CCTV system shall be under contractor's scope of work. p) Temporary protection to be provided. q) Free issue to Contractor - CCTV camera + wiper unit , cables , junction box, glands , trays , washer unit assembly, other mounting accessories etc

INSTALLATION OF TEMPERATURE PROBE, VIBRATION PROBE, KEY PHASOR, ACCELEROMETER WITH SENSOR/ TRANSMITTERS WIRED TO JB
Vibration sensor/ transmitter wired inside the JB will be supplied by Package vendor. a) Scope of work includes installation of vibration probe, temperature probe, Key phasor (sensor/transmitter) to Junction box and Cable termination between probe to sensor/ transmitter. b) If required during installation of vibration probe, temperature probe, Key phasor (sensor/transmitter) to Junction box and sensor/transmitter , making temporary supports / scafolding etc. is in contractors scope of work. c) Any other activity not indicated above but required for the installation of vibration probe and sensor/transmitter shall be under contractor scope of work. Free Issue to Contractor: JB with vibration transmitter supplied by Package vendor.
INSTALLATION OF MCT BLOCKS
Scope of work includes taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. The activity includes following operations: a) MCT Frames are to be installed in the Main control room/ Local Control Room/Satellite rack room wall. b) MCT frame shall be fixed to the control room wall with anchor bolts (HILTI Fastners) . c) All the civil work related to installtion of MCT Block on the wall is in contractor's scope. d) MCT blocks / inserts of various sizes are be fixed inside the MCT frames on the control room walls & below the Panels/cabinets e) Contractor shall study MCT layout drawing & Panels/cabinet MCT arrangement drawings, accordingly fix the MCT blocks/inserts inside the frame. f) Once the cable laying activity is completed, spare blocks shall be closed. With permission of site in charge MCT frames shall be tightened. Sealing of MCT frames for cables inside control room to be done by contractor g) Scope includes supply of cement, concrete, anchor bolts / Hilti Bolts and other similar material required for the installation of MCT blocks/frame on the wall. h) If necessary,chipping of the control room wall for installation of the MCT frame is also to be done by the contractor. i) Any other work not specified above but required for of installation of MCT frames & blocks is also in contractor's scope. LAYING AND TERMINATION OF INSTRUMENTATION CABLES (FIELD/ CONTROL ROOM/ SUB-STATION) (Supply of cables & cable glands excluded in Erection contractor's scope)
Scope of work includes taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. Supporting tool for laying of fibre optic cable, OFC cable splicing & OTDR is in site contractor scope. Cable pulling, Laying / Installation work includes following activity: a) All the single pair cables (including the ones between sensor/element and transmitter) /multi pair cables shall be laid in cable ducts, branch cable duct / cable trays , trenches, cable sleeves, angles, Duct Bank, Culvert, cable pulling pit, existing cable tray & existing cable ducts & shall be fixed/ tied in the position. To prepare cable pulling pits is also in contractor scope. b) All the cables/multicables delivered to the contactor shall be handled with care to avoid damage. It is not allowed to roll the drums, except for short distance movements and for drum installation on the supports.Contractor shall keep the record of each drum in writing (quantity of cable in each drum, cable laid, date of laying cable, core to core IR value (meggering) & continuty test results etc.). While laying the cable/multicable drum shall be installed on reel truck or on the support for easy rotation, cable pulling shall be carried out manually. Cable shall be laid parallel pattern and crisscrossing is not allowed c) After laying the cable/multicables both the ends of the laid cable & cable on drum shall be adequately sealed. d) Cable / multicable laid in the trays shall be clamped at every 2.5 meter (for horizontal runs), 500 mm (for vertical runs) & 1 m for bended cable trays by PVC coated stainless steel strip. All the cables shall be identified along their route by means of plastic bands. e) SS identification tag plate (bearing reference tag no as per cable schedule) shall be provided at both ends of the cable & multi cable. Cables shall be marked as follows:- i) On both sides of transit entries into buildings. ii) At 30 metre intervals along the length. iii) On one side of every duct crossing. iv) Cables shall be marked as above using a suitable metal marker attached to the cable using a stainless steel cable tie. f) Before glanding/termination meggering & continuty test shall be performed for cables. g) Cable glanding shall be done at both the ends. All cables/multicables termination at both the ends ( Field/ JB /LCP/ Push Button Station/ Local Panel Wiring etc.) shall be done by the contractor. h) Printed Ferrules at the cable termination ends shall be done by contractor as per project philosophy. Ferrules, Ferruling machines and other required accessories are in contractor scope. i) Pre-insulated tinned copper compression type lugs shall be used for cable termination. j) Contractor scope also includes the supply and tying of cable ties (nylon material) at regular intervals as per directions of Engineer Incharge. k) Cable armouring shall be grounded at one point in the field (in junction box) and cable shields shall be grounded inside control room in the circuit seperate from general ground. l) If required during laying cables making temporary supports / scafolding etc. is in contractors scope of work. m) Any other work not specified above but required for laying & pulling of the cables is also in contractor's scope of work. n) Fixing and Punching on Anodized Aluminium Tag plates clearly identifying JB Nos.and Panel Nos. shall be in the scope of Contractor. o) Rubber Grommet (if required) for protecting cables from being damaged from sharp edges of cable trays/ducts while cable pulling shall be in the scope of Contractor p) Empty drums/laid drums to be shifted to the designated location by contractor as instructed by Site in charge. q) Free issue to contractor : Supply of Instrumentation, Power Cable, Fiber optic, Earthing & other serial communication cables

INSTALLATION OF IMPULSE TUBES
Scope of work includes taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. The activity includes following operation: a) Contractor shall study optimal routing from the process connection up to the instrument as per process hook up drawing provided by the MPMC. b) Laying, supporting, clamping, cutting, theading bending & other similar works involved in fabrication of hookup of SS tubes, tube fitting and accessories. c) Fixing of isolation valves & tube fittings etc as per process hook up drawing d) Instrument Manifold installation, supporting and clamping e) SS tube connection to the process / impulse pipe &, to the instruments. f) Cleaning / blowing & pressure test of the tubing and dechocking of Impulse lines if required. g) Impulse tube shall be calmped at every one meter interval. h) Sealing of all threaded joints using suitable sealants and/ or by seal welding as specified in hook-up drawing i) PWHT, Radiography, DP test etc. shall be applicable as per project requirement. j) Proper clamping shall be done for overhead SS tubes. k) Pressure test / leakage test shall be done for fittings and ferrule joints. l) Hook-ups shall be fabricated and installed strictly as per project hook-up drawings maintaining required slope from tapping point m) Erection of pipe listed in BOM below includes erection of all the pipe fittings, seal pot, valves & other accessories as per Hook- up drawings. n) Also, Scope includes the erection of any hook- up , loose supplied by package vendor as per the hook- up drawing supplied by package vendor. Supports shall be painted. c) Fabrication of instrument air piping sub headers (1”) and branch pipes (1/4”,3/8”,1/2”,3/4”) on the basis of instrument air distribution layout, instrument location layout and field study. d) Laying, supporting, clamping, cutting, threading bending & other similar works involved in laying instrument air tubes, tube fitting and accessorires. e) Fixing of tubes & tube fittings. f) Connection to the instrument air distribution manifold and to the instruments. g) Cleaning / blowing & pressure test of the instrument air tubing starting from instrument air distribution manifold up to the instrument. h) Hook-up supporting shall be done through aluminium perforated tray as per installation standard i) Installation of Air tubing from air distribution manifold to respective valves shall be performed by Inst. INSTALLATION OF MS HOT DIP GALVANISED IRON CABLE DUCTS (WITH COVERS)
Scope of work includes installation of Hot dip galvanised Mild steel cable duct confirming to IS-2629 with suitable supports made from heavy duty GI mild steel (with 2 primer coatings & 1 epoxy coating) and taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc.Installation work includes following activity: a) Contractor shall study the cable duct routing for possible interferences. b) Cable duct shall be installed on the basis of cable duct layout drawings provided by MPMC c) Installation of supports for cable trays. d) Cable duct Installation - Cable duct shall be installed on the pipe racks / columns, beams or on the other permanent structures. Cable ducts shall be supported at the bottom longitudinally on both edges, throughout its length by means of MS channels (provided by Civil). At every two meter interval cable duct shall be fastened to the supports either with galvanised steel bolts or SS Bolts . Cable duct sections shall also be fastened to each other with coupler plates supplied along with cable duct. If required Cable duct pieces shall be cut to suit site requirement. e) After completion of cable laying/dressing/termination & testing of the cables, cover shall be installed & fastened to the cable duct. f) Cable duct shall be grounded by means of connection to the grounding network with PVC insulated single copper wire according to the project drawings. g) If necessary, contractor shall construct special pieces of the cable duct to suit the site requirement. The curve shall be according to the minimum bending radius of the cable. h) All the machined parts, cutted or drilled parts shall be protected by cold galvanising. i) If required during Installation of cable duct making temporary supports / scafolding etc. is in contractors scope of work. j) Scope includes supply of welding elecctrodes, paints , clamps, supports & galvanise bolts & nuts required forfixing cable duct supports etc., k) Any other work not specified above but required for installation of cable duct is also in contractor's scope of work. The blankets shall be removable from the duct / trays top side & shall be reusable. b) Fire Rating :- The fire proofing blankets shall be able to provide half an hour of hydrocarbon fire exposure (1100 deg.C) to ducts and cable trays without damaging the cable confirming the compliance and should have undergone type fire test as per UL-1724/ASTM E-119/BS-476/IS-3809 by any recognised testing authority or laboratory & test report / certificate shall be furnished. c) Blanket thickness :- Minimum 25 mm thick each layer of blanket (To be decided by vendor for required fire rating). d) Blanket Fibre Density :- Minimum 128 Kg/m3 (to be decided by vendor for required fire rating). e) Overlap of Blankets :- Minimum 75mm overlap required both longitudional & transversal between first layer & second layer of the blanket. f) Staggering :- The second layer of the blanket shall be staggered by minimum 300 mm from first layer of the blanket. g) Clamps :- All the clamps shall made of SS304 & shall be reusable type. Thickness of the clamp shall be minimum 12 mm. h) Cladding :- Metallic cladding shall be provided over the blanket with clamps. Aluminium sheet shall be used for metallic cladding. Minimum thickness of the aluminium sheet shall be 0.5 mm. Remarks: 1.Fire proofing of Cable duct & cable tray within the plant battery limit done by using flexible ceramic fibre blankets.These blankets shall be readily removable and shall be on line re-installable type without any elobrate procedure. 2.The fire proofing blankets shall be made of compressed laysers of asbestos free, non-toxic, non-fumable ceramic fibre. SUPPLY & INSTALLATION OF MOUNTING STANDS FOR INSTRUMENTS / GAS DETECTORS / TELEPHONE WITH HOOTER,BEACON/SPEAKER
Supply & Installation of mouting stands /Stanchions for mounting of Transmitters, Gas detectors & other field instruments, remote mounted and Telephone, Beacon, Speaker,FCS, CCTV along with required accessories like base plate etc., as per Installation standard TP-1ZZZA-IC-STD-0001. The activity includes following works: a) Mounting stands shall be suitable installation on the plant permanent structure,/ RCC platform / grade etc. as the case may be. b) Mounting stands shall be either welded or bolted to the permanent structures, for fixing supports on concrete structure HILTI Anchor's bolts shall be used. Minor civil work involved in the installation of the mounting stand shall be also done the contactor including supply of cement, bricks,concrete, anchor bolts etc. c) Scope of work includes cutting, welding, threading, cleaning, painting and other similar works involved in the fabrication of mounting stands. d) All the welded joints & machined parts shall be protected by epoxy painting. e) Scope includes supply of welding electrodes, 2" NB Sch. 40 MS Pipe (All instruments excluding Gas Detector & 4" NB Sch. Minor civil work involved in the installation of the supports shall be also done the contactor including supply of cement, bricks,concrete, anchor bolts etc. c) If required during erection making of temporary supports / scafolding etc. is in contractors scope. d) Scope of work includes cutting, welding, threading, cleaning and other similar works involved in the fabrication of mounting stands and installation of cable trays, impulse pipes & tubes, junction boxes and its frame, local panel along with its base frame as per Installation standard. e) Deisgn, Specification and Material shall be as per Installation standard TP-1ZZZA-IC-STD-0001. f) Supply of Structural Steel jointing fittings g) Support shall be painted (1 no. Primer & two coats of the paint & epoxy shall be applied). h) Scope of work includes supply of structural steel (i.e plates, flats, channels, angles, Tubular Structures etc of and other consumables i.e. welding electrodes, gas, primer, final paint. Erection contractor scope also includes welding, cutting, threading,cleaning, surface preparation for welding and painting and other similar works. i) When items requires tig welding qulaified person shall be employed to carryout described work providing required finish meeting all quality requirements i) Any other work not specified above but required for fabrication of structural steel is also in contractor's scope of work.
INSTALLATION OF LOCAL GAUGE BOARDS
Scope of work includes taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. The activity includes following operations: a) Installation of the local gauge board on the correct postion as per project layout drawing & fixing the local gauge board in postion with the anchor bolts on the concrete base . Scope includes supply of anchor bolts, concrete,cement etc.Contractor shall do necessary chipping of pockts (if required) provided in the concrete base for installation panel. b) Contractor shall align the local gauge board.. d) Installation of those instruments & accessories supplied loose with the the local gauge board. e) Connection of the local gauge board mounted instruments to process lines / impuse lines. f) Cleaning / blowing & hydraulic test of the impulse lines (manifold). g) Connection of signal & power cables to instruments (if required). h) Laying, supproting & clamping of cables, capilary tube, impluse pipe/tube inside gauge board. i) Cleaning, de-dusting, painting touch up (if necessary) & maintemance of the local gauge board.. Scope includes supply of paint. j) Earthing of the gauge board shall done by the contractor. Single core pvc insulated copper wire shall be used for conneting to plant earth grid (lugs, ferrules & wires shall be supplied by the contractor). INSTALLATION OF LOCAL PANELS
ACTIVITIES IN CONTROL ROOM/ SUB-STATION
Scope of work includes taking delivery of material from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. Installation of panel, supply and installation of cable tray, cable laying and termination and glanding, earth cable laying and termination, false flooring modification, loop checking, MCT frame supply and installation and any other acitivity. Price for all these activities shall be considered in the respective items.
INSTALLATION OF CABINETS / PANELS / OPERATOR'S CONSOLE IN SRR
Following cabinets are to be installed in SRR for SRB unit : 1) Other 3rd party system and marshalling cabinets located in SRR dedicated for Unit operation as per approved architectures and layout drawings. Scope of work includes taking delivery from warehouse or from the places of storage, on site transportation, handling, storage, unpacking etc. The activity includes following operations: a) These cabinets contain delicate electonic hardware & display units& should be handled carefully to avoid damage & should be not be exposed to high temperature, sunlight, dust & water. b) Install prefabricated mounting frame on the floor of the Rack Room area in the area identified for new cabinets as per project layout drawing. Base frame to be suplied by site - contractor. Scope includes supply of anchor bolts, concrete,cement etc & other material required for frame fixing. c) Align ,fix & tighten the cabinet on the frame. Nuts & bolts required for fixing cabinets are to be supplied by the contractor. (for installation the cabinet, if required false floor of the control room shall be modified by contractor). d) Contractor shall remove the gland plate from the cabinet, shall drill the gland plate for fixing cable glands etc. and shall re-fix (by bolting) the gland plate in the cabinet (gas cutting not permitted for making holes in the gland plates). Once cable laying & termination is completed all the spare cable entries in the gland plate shall be plugged by contractor. e) Installation of the those modules, instruments & accessories supplied loose alongwith the cabinet under the supervision on manufacturer's specialist.Termination inside the cabinets for internal loose wires etc. f) Laying, supproting, clamping & termination of cables (both signal & powercables) inside cabinet. g) Cleaning, de-dusting, painting touch up (if necessary) & maintemance of the cabinet.Scope includes supply of paint. h) Earthing of the Cabinet & signal (i.e.sperate earthing required for IS,NON-IS signals & protective earth ) shall done by the contractor. Single core pvc insulated copper wire shall be used for connecting to plant earth grid (lugs, ferrules & wires shall be supplied by the contractor). Earthing shall be as per Project drawing.
i) Contractor shall provide technical assisatnce to the system manufactutrer's specialist for calibration, start up & commissioning. j) Scope includes supply of anchor bolts, nuts & bolts, paints and other maierial required for installation of the cabinets. k) Any other work not specified above but required for installation of installation local panel is also in contractor's scope of work. l) Installation of 01 No. Operator's Console (dual screen) along with accessories is within the scope of Contractor and shall be paid as per unit Rate of this Item. m) Cabinet size shall be approx 2100mm (H) X1200mm (W) / 800mm (W) X 800mm (D). However cabinet size shall be as per the approved layout drawings and general arrangement drawings.

CALIBRATION AND TESTING
Contractor shall test & calibrate all the instruments as per project specification (Iinstrument data sheets) & as per manufacturer's recommendation. This shall also include instruments supplied by the package vendors (i.e pumps, compressors vendor etc.). Instruments mounted on Control panel/local panel/ gauge board mounted etc. are also to be calibrated by the contractor . Transportation of cylinder from warehouse to site required for calibration or testing is in contractor scope. a) During testing & calibration contactor shall also determine that: i) All scales, charts & measurement range of the instruments, transmitters, controllers etc.are as specified in the data sheets. ii) All the instruments & accessories are as per project specification. iii) Contractor shall record & notify to the site inchage any deviation from the specifications or faults found during calibration of the instruments. iv) If required, contractor shall make necessary repairs by repalcing the defective components (using spares). v) Calibration activity may be carried out either prior to or after the installation of the instruments in the plant. This shall be decided at the site by the Contractor & Client/ MPMC site incharge. (However, client/MPMC decision shall be final and binding to the contractor). vi) If the calibration activity starts when the instruments are already installed, it should be contactor's responsibility to remove & re-install the instruments after clibration, without any time & cost implcation to client / MPMC. b) All the instruments test & calibration results shall be recorded by the contractor on dedicated forms duly approved by the client/PMC MPMC site incharge. Contractor shall submit requisite no of copies of the calibration record to client/MPMC. It will be contractor's responsibility & scope of work to supply duly approved forms. c) Testing & calibration shall be witnessed by the client/ MPMC representative. d) To complete the calibration activity with in project schedule, contractor shall deploy adequate number of qualified & trained manpower in consultation with site inchage.
e) Contractor shall provide all the required test & calibration equipments in requisite no. to execute the job within project schedule, f) For calibration of gauge board or panel mounted instrument, contractor shall remove & reinstall these instruments after calibration. No extra claim applicable on this account. g) All the instruments shall be calibrated using appropiate test equipment to make certain that 0%,25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% input (both increasing as well as decreasing inputs) produces out put signal in accordance with specification. h) Testing & calibration of GWR LT/ DP LT requires online with water or actual liquid by Contractor i) Assistance to the Analyzer Vendor Specialists for power-up, calibration, loop test activities and Site Acceptance Test. j) Support in filling of calibration (zero & span) and carrier gases from a local certified source of supply into the empty cylinders supplied by the analyser vendor. The regulators, connectors, tubing and other accessories required for connecting the gas cylinders to the analyser system shall be free issued by the analyser vendor. Various gases of the required quantity, type and composition shall be supplied. Certification of the gas cylinders shall be provided with cylinder itself. k) Any other activity not specified by required for calibration of instruments shall be under contractor's scope of work. l) Cleaning, checking , functional tests and configuration for special Level & Flow Instruments shall be done by the Contractor as per the directions of Engineer in Charge

Testing & Calibration of Dampers,Control valves (various sizes & ratings, globe, butterfly & angle valves etc) & accessories along with necessary testing kit to perform the following operation: a) Correct positioning of the valve by feeding the input signal to control valve. input signal shall be varied from 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% & 100% (both increasing & decreasing input) to check the control valve and positioner operation. b) Check the calibration of the valve positioner (smart E/P positioner and Remote positioner). c) Stem travel shall be adjusted (if required) as per manufacturer's recommendation. d) Actuator shall be rotated, if required, to suit the site requirement. Chain pulley arrangement if required for the same shall be arranged by contractor. e) Few control valves may supplied with solenoid valve & limit switches, check performance of solenoid valve f) If required, replace solenoid valve coil and/or other parts. g) Check limit switch operation, adjust limit switch position, if required. TESTING & CALIBRATION OF ON-OFF VALVES and ROSOV
As per site incharge instruction, seat leakage & hydraulic test shall be done by the contractor for ON-OFF valves. Unit rates for conducting these test shall be furnished by the contractor for each size of the control valve inclusive of Tools & tackles with skilled manpower.
Testing & Calibration of ON - OFF Damper & ON-OFF valves (various sizes & ratings, type of valves, ball, globe, butterfly & angle valves etc) & accessories.The activity includes following operation: a) Physical inspection and Shifting from warehouse to the place of installation shall be in Contractor's scope b) Correct positioning of the valve by feeding input signal to on-off valve. Input signal shall be given at 0% and 100%. Wherever PST positioner is available, input signal shall be varied from 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% & 100% (both increasing & decreasing input) and check valve and positioner operation. c) Check the calibration of the valve positioner (smart E/P positioner). d) Stem travel shall be adjusted (if required) as per manufacturer's recommendation. e) Actuator shall be rotated, if required, to suit the site requirement. Chain pulley arrangement if required for the same shall be arranged by contractor. f) Solenoid valve & limit swithes- check performance of solenoid valve, if required, replace solenoid valve and/or other parts. g) Check limit switch operation, adjust limit switch position, if required. h) Check operation of other accessories supplied along with valve such as air set, volume booster, quick exhaust valves i) Check valve air failure position. j) On-Off valves calibration shall be done either in the field ('in-situ postion") or at the place of storage as per instruction of site incharge. k) Scope includes supply portable air compressor with dryer/ Compressed air cylinder to generate dust & oil free dry air for calibration. l) Any other activity required for Installation, calibration & testing of the valve & its accessories shall in contractor's scope. m) ON-OFF VALVES Stroke checking of the On-Off valves ( ball & butterfly valves in various sizes), testing of solenoid valves & limit switches other accessories supplied along with On-Off valves. n) Installation of Valves is covered in Mechanical & Piping Contractor's Scope, however, Mechanical efforts and material handling equipment required during calibration and testing of Valves shall be arranged by Instrumentation Contractor. o) Installation of Air volume tank with proper tubing shall be done by Contractor . PSV and PT installation on the Air volume tank shall be in Contractor's scope . Testing and calibration of PT & PSV also in Contractor's scope p) Wherever there is Local push button , Operation shall be checked for the same by Contractor q) For ROSOV, Local panel installation shall be in Contractor's scope. Cabling between ROSOV and Local control panel shall be in Contractor's scope. r) SS Tubing leakage shall be tested with soap solution s) SS Tubing shall be connected from the Air distribution manifold t) Any damaged SS tubing shall be rectified by Contractor u) Glanding and Termination of cables for Solenoid , Limit switch etc shall be carried out by Contractor

TESTING & CALIBRATION OF PSV, TSV, ERV & PVRV
a) Testing & Calibration of PSV (Pressure safety valves), TSV (Temperature safety valves), Emergency relief valve(ERV) and Pressure vaccum relief valve(PVRV) . b) Contractor shall carry out safety relief valve (various sizes & pressure rating) set pressure check using adequate test bench. Safety relief valve pressure setting shall be as per specification (if required contractor shall adjust spring).While performing testing, cap shall be removed and screwed again c) Contractor shall also check seat tightness in accordance with API-527. d) Testing of the Safety Valves ( various sizes) shall be done with water (for liquid service) & with nitrogen (steam & vapour service). If required minor adjustment of set pressure shall be done by contractor. Hydraulic pump, test bench , nitrogen cylinders, regulators and other accessories required are to be supplied by contractor. e) Nitrogen Cylinders as required for calibration and testing purpose shall be arranged by Contractor. f) Chain pulley arrangement if required for adjustment of PSVs shall be arranged by contractor. g) Providing Necessary test rigs for Safety valves & PRV’s h) Installation of Valves is covered in Mechanical & Piping Contractor's Scope, however, Mechanical efforts and material handling equipment required during calibration and testing of Valves shall be arranged by Instrumentation Contractor. i) PSV test bench (if required) , arrangement for the same to be done by contractor at site. j) Any other activity required for calibration & testing of the Pressure safety shall in contractor's scope.

TESTING & CALIBRATION OF SELF ACTUATED PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE
- Assistance to the correct dismounting and reinstallation of valve, because of flushing operations - Supervision of installation of Self Pressure Regulator (PCV) valves (Self Pressure Regulator valves to be installed by mechanical contractor under supervision of instrumentation contractor). - Correct positioning of the valve - Check the calibration of the valve - Check operation of other accessories supplied along with valve, if any - Any other activity required for calibration & testing of the valve & its accessories shall in contractor's scope. Testing & Calibration of Self actuated pressure control valve (PCV). Contractor shall carry out self actuated pressure control valve (various sizes & pressure rating) set pressure check using adequate test bench. Self actuated valve pressure setting shall be as per specification. For self actuating valves, DCS control shall be required for the size above 1 1/2". Any other activity not specified above but required for testing & calibration of the valve & its accessories (if any) shall in contractor's scope.

LOOP CHECKING FROM FIELD UPTO DCS, ESD & ESD (F&G) -PLC (CLOSED & OPEN LOOPS) INCLUDING PACKAGE VENDOR SUPPLIES INSTRUMENTS. Loop checking shall be done for complete loop i.e. from field instrument to control room and vice- versa. Site Contractor scope of work shall include a) Checking the termination of field cables in the field side and ensuring cable termination on cabinet side in co-ordination with System vendor b) Loop checking shall be carried out to check the functional performance of all elements comprising the loop and thereby enduring proper configuration, functioning and interconnection. c) Any discrepancy found during checking shall be brought to the notice of Engineer-in-charge. All loop checking shall be performed in the presence of Engineer-in-charge or his authorized representative's presence. d) All readings shall be recorded on a suitable format and completely filled format duly signed shall be submitted for approval. e) All field instruments connected to control room shall be checked at 0%, 25%, 75%, and 100% of FS (for both increasing and decreasing signals). f) Receiver alarm cards shall be checked for different settings on both increasing and decreasing signals. g) Signal from controllers shall be checked with respect to shutdown scheme at respective control valves / shutdown valves. The stroke checking of control valves, shutdown valves also forms a part of loop checking. h) After loop checking is completed, all terminals and connections removed for loop checking shall be connected back. i) Loop checking for electrical and instrumentation interface coordination is also included in Contractor's scope. j) If required during loop checking, making temporary supports / scafolding etc. is in contractors scope of work. k) Any other work not specified above but required for performing loop checking activity is also in contractor's scope of work.

SUPPLY AND APPLICATION OF TAG PLATE, PAINTING , LETTERING & STENCILING
Scope Include but not limited to supply of paints and primers, surface preparation and application of primer and finish paints ( as per project specification) , identification, lettering, colour bands,colour coding etc. as per instruction of site incharge and touchup with primer & finish paint wherever required, providing scaffolding for all heights, labour, material, tools and tackles, consumables, etc to complete the work in all respect for imulse pipes, fittings, valves, flanges and supports etc. Paint shall be Asian/ Berger/ Nerolac /Shalimar .
Identification of Instrument Items for tag plate wherever required including supply of approved colour of Paint/Paints (Fluorescent), painting of tag number (approx. 25-50 mm high) of instrument for inline , Junction Box , etc. as specified by Engineer -In-Charge. Tag plates shall be supplied and installed by Contractor All instrument tag plate shall be SS plate (For field) as mentioned in Installation standard TP-1ZZZA-IC-STD-0001 which supersedes the Laminated plastic material as mentioned in JSD for installation TP-1ZZZA-IC-SPE-0033

Canopies shall be of adequate size to protect the transmitters, JB,Temperature elements,LCP, Push Button Station,SOV,I/P converter,Analysers etc from the sunlight and rain. Canopy shall be fabricated from 2 mm thick FRP sheet suitable for a design surface temp. of 65 C, Fire retardant to BS 476 parts 7. Anti- static to BS 5501 Part1. Contractor shall furnish drawing of the canopy along with offer. Fabrication of canopy shall be as per Installation standard "TP-1ZZZA-IC-STD-0001" Mounting accessories suitable for 2" pipe shall be supplied along with the canopy. Necessary SS 304 nuts & Bolts shall be supplied with bracket. Before starting the fabrication, contractor shall obtain the approval from Client/MPMC Scope Inlcudes but not limited to:- Supply, Fabrication & Installation of canopies of 3 mm thick FRP sheet on 2"/4" mounting stanchions for field instruments / push buttons / LCP housed outdoor / Junction Boxes etc.

MANPOWER FOR COMMISSIONING ASSISTANCE AND STABILIZATION OF FIELD INSTRUMENTS
In addition to the erection contractor's General and Specific Duties indicated in other inquiry documents, the following are included in the unit rates: Providing technical assistance during commissioning phase by deploying different categories of skilled & semi-skilled personnel as listed below .The quoted man-day rates shall be inclusive of all wages, overtime for working beyond normal hours including holidays / weekly off, travel / accommodation expenses, including PPE’s, all tools & tackles etc and other costs. Prior to deployment of personnel at site, Contractor shall submit the detailed CVs of such persons (Instrument Engineer / Supervisor) proposed to be posted at site to Owner for concurrence & approval. The Owner and Contractor shall jointly maintain a record of all such personnel chargeable at Man day Rates deployed each day which shall be used as the basis for calculating payments due to the Contractor for the services covering assistance during pre-commissioning & commissioning phase. Should the performance of any of Contractor’s personnel be found unsatisfactory by Client/MPMC, the replacement of such personnel shall be carried out by Contractor immediately. This manpower will be utilized for Commissioning assistance requirement over and above that already described elsewhere in this SOR. One Man day is 8 hour duty excluding 1 hour lunch period. Work during extended hours/Holiday shall be paid as per prorata basis. Rates will be applied on an effective working hourly basis and will therefore not take into account the time required for preparation, handling, relocation and transport from/to work-site. Measurement of works: On the basis of daily time sheets prepared by the erection contractor and approved by MPMC. Below mentioned resources will be utilized as per site requirement and on Instruction of Site Incharge only. Manpower resource may or may not be consumed also.
