MECHANIZED PAINTING OF RUNWAY, TAXIWAY, APRON AND OTHER PAVEMENTS IN OPERATIONAL AREA AT HISAR AIRPORT, HISAR

Painting markings of Runway/Parallel Taxi Track/Link Taxi Tracks/Apron/Isolation Bay/other Pavements etc. by mechanical means with Fully/Semi Automatic Paint Applicator Machine (using cold airless spray machine with minimum two spray gun) to give uniform finished with water based road marking paint of approved make, driven by experienced operator including cost of paint (paint will be supplied by Agency) and cost of T&P. The work shall include the cleaning of existing surface of runway, taxiway, apron, isolation bay, other pavements etc. of all dirt seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of EIC and in accordance with applicable specification and Particular Specification. (one or more coats). (The paint consumption shall be not less than 1.66 litre/10sqm)

Removal of old markings of Runway/Parallel Taxi Track/Link Taxi Tracks/Apron/Isolation Bay/other Pavements etc.using a surface scrubbing/grinding machine followed by water jetting or blasting to eliminate dust, grit and foreign deposits etc. The entire process shall be such that there shall be no damage to the existing surface and required surface texture and roughness shall be maintained, avoiding excessive smoothness as per the directions and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
