SPL REPAIR OF ROAD AT DIFFERENT LOCATION AND PROVN OF HARDSTANDING IN FRONT OF RATION STORE UNDER GE 969 EWS

Scarifying or picking gravelled, mecadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm and exc 50mm and n.exc 100mm deep, removal of debries complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in Two layers of 75mm each (compacted) on with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) lime stone, sand stone flint or quartzile, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with 8 to 12 Tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

All as per ser item No 2 here-in-before but except material and in one layer of 7.5 cm thick (consolidated thickness), complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Old material retrieved from ser item No 01 here-in-after shall be reused.

M&L for repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dirt and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by filling in screened and graded road metal and well ramming including supply of road metal and making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer VG 10 @ 5 Kgs per 10 Sqm putting in Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder contents of paving Bitumen binder (VG-10) by weight of total mix, mixed in fully auto hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gardient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as spedcified.

M&L preparing WBM by brushing with wire brush to remove caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags and applying evenly a priming/tack coat @ 10 Kg/10 Sqm using paving bitumen (VG-10) by mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick consolidated thickness with paving bitumen (VG-30), binder content @ 5.5% by weight of total mix, including supply and mixing of filler (OPC Cement) as per design mix, spread using mechanical senser paver rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 Tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam using mechanically crushed stone aggregates mixed with paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 4% by weight of total mix in average thickness of 75mm, using aggregate as specified in clause 20.B.2.5 of MES Sch Part-I, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Notes for ser item No 6 & 7: (i) Preparation of mix in hotmix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible and has to maintain the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these itrems shall include for carrying out the works with depolyment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable. (ii) Central computerised Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of constituents for preparation of bituminous macadam and the same shall be laid with mechanical sensor paver all as specifiedand directed. (iii) Over newly provided bituminous macadam surfaces, further bituminous work, if ordered, shall be provided simultaneously after provision of bituminous macadamı & nο separate payment for provision of tack coat for bonding between the bituminous macadam & further bituminous work necessiated due to the time period gap or otherwise shall be made for separately. (iv) The Design mix shall be carried out from the Zonal lab/ Govt approved lab/Govt Engr College as approved by GE and design mix shall be got approved by GE before execution of the work. (v) The cost of all the above aspects shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of above item.

Preparation of black top surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc / sweeping with brooms and finally fanning cleaned surfaced with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bitumen @5kg / X sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L continuous brick edging with width euqal to width of brick with sub class B old size brick laid dry on edge and vertically including taking down existing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for marking lines/strips on roads/pavement with thermo plastic paint (tint as approved by GE) by hot mixing method as per IS specification, heating with gas, to achieve minimum uniform thickness 1.5 mm using painting materials @ 6.5Kg/Sqm and glass beads @ 250 gm/Sqm complete all as specified and directed. Note : The paint shall be 1st quality of Make : RELIANCE/BERGER/ASIAN PAINTS
