SPL REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF BOREWELL UNDER GE NAMS

Material and labour for boring with drill/reverse rotary circulation method including electric logging through in any kind of strata of soil/rock for drilling not less than 650 mm dia hole for depth from ground level up to 200 metre by keeping sufficient space for packing pea gravels including disposal of surplus soil/liquid mud/sand etc with in 100 m complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- (a) Depth of electronic logging will be measuered as drilling depth. (b) Electronic logging shall be done by external agency approved by GE (c) Lifting of the existing submersible pump from the bore along with pipes and lowering the same in the new borewell shall deemed to included in the quoted rates. (d) Required submersible cable in the above well shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply, lowering, fixing, jointing and continuous welding the following into bore hole 350 mm bore mild steel blind casing pipe ERW, 8mm thick, screwed and socketed, each length not exc 6 metre (measured net as fixed) including screwed and socket joints and continuous arc welding or as required including necessary fittings joints and lowering into bore hole duly painted with ferrous primer and two coats of anti corrosive bituminous paint on external surface of pipe complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl Item No. 2 here in before but 250 mm bore mild steel blind casing pipe ERW 8 mm wall thickness screwed and socketed each length not exceeding 6M (measured net as fixed) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, lowering, fixing, jointing and continuous welding the following into bore hole 250 mm bore slotted strainer vertical mild steel pipe ERW, not less than 8mm thick screwed and socketed each length not exceeding 6 metre (measured net as fixed) including screwed and socket joints and fittings complete all as specified and directed (slot shall match with strata obtained from bore and having 1.5 mm slot with or as directed by Engr-in- Charge)

Material and labour for packing pea gravel of size 1.6 mm to 4 mm all around the casing, blind and strainer pipe in borewell to entire depth complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Volume of Pea gravel shall be measured as net in compact stacks prepared on levelled ground and recorded in MB before pouring in position, surplus quantity shall be smilarly measured to arrive at the actual quantity incorporated in the work

Material and labour for Ductile Iron fittings ISI marked for flanged or spigot socketed pipe such as tail piece, connecting pieces, bends tapers, tea pieces (single or double branch) any type and angle / radius and straight connecting piece suitable for upto 250 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for construction of brick masonry valve pit of internal size 90 cm x 90 cm x 90 cm with mild steel cover 6mm thick and angle iron frame of size 50 x50 cm x 6mm duly painted with two coats of synthetic enameled paint over a red oxide primer including excavation and earth work 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 as in foundation 23 cm plastered 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 internally copping in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 over brick work and locking arrtangement complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing 8 mm thick bail plug made of mild steel 250mm bore, 60cm, long screwed & socketed, jointing with strong iron hook and a steel bar of minimum 8mm dia 2 Nos alongwith continuous arc welding to the casing pipe complete all as specified & directed.

Supplying, fixing and lowering in to bore hole casing / strainer pipe, centering guides made out of MS flat iron of size 50x6mm, made to shape with two rings at 75 cm apart and three No ribs duly welded, suitable for 250mm bore MS casing pipe complete all as specified & directed.

All as per Srl Item No 9 above but suitable for 350mm bore blind casing pipes.

Supplying and fixing MS reducer of 8mm wall thickness screwed internally at both ends of size 350 x 250mm, length not less than 600mm including jointing, screwed and socketed including electric arc welding complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing MS housing clamp made out of mild steel flat iron 150mm wide, 12mm thick, 70 cm long, suitable for 350mm dia casing pipe with necessary 19mm dia MS bolts full threaded, nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for yield testing and development of bore well by means of pumping by Air Compressor of suitable capacity of PSI 500 to 600 so that clear water is obtained for continuous output of 15000 GPH. complete all as specified and directed.

Yield testing of the tubewell by means of electric driven pumping set of suitable capacity (The discharge shall be meassured by providing orifice system of "V" notch fixed to steel tank of adequate capacity) complete all as specified and directed. Note for Srl Item 13 to 14: (a) Air compressor, fuel,electric driven pumping set and any other equipment of suitable capacity for the development/ yield test of tube well shall be arranged by the contractor under his own arrangements and nothing extra shall be payable to the contractor on this accont. (b) The discharge shall be measured by providing office system of 'V' notch fixed to steel tanks of adequate capacity. (c) A proper record and log sheet for running of compressor shall be prepared and signed by the contractor & Engr-in-Charge, countersigned by GE and shall form part of final bill.

Material and labour for strata sample box of suitable size, made out of second class hard wood with openable shutter of transparent glass, having not less than 20 compartments capable of holding 250 to 400 gms of strata sample in transparent plastic containers duly marked with strata depth, including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The cost of transparent plastic containers is deemed to be included in quoted unit rates.

Supplying and fixing MS locking cap 8mm thick, 350 mm dia having internal threads with welded iron handle 20 mm dia MS round bar, made to shape complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing CI Air Release valve with 02 air outlets conforming to IS 14845 , size 100 mm dia bore for fixing with DI / CI water mains of 150 mm dia bore including all jointing material such as nuts, bolts, washers, rubber gasket etc complete all as specfied and directed.

Supplying and fixing Cl Non retrun valve / Reflux Valve PN-1.6 grade, 150mm bore including all jointing material such as nuts, bolts, washers, rubber gasket etc complete all as specfied and directed.

Supplying and fixing Cl Sluice Valve, ISI Marked, 150mm bore, flanged class PN-1.6 having spindal made out of gun metal, operating wheel, nuts, bolts, packing complete all as specfied and directed.

Supplying and fixing MS double flanged type ductile iron pipe class K-9, ISI marked, with internal cement mortar lining and external zinc and bitumen coated, bore of pipe 150mm, conforming to IS 8329: 2000 complete with MS bolts, nuts, washers and packing material and joints complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Excavation & Earthwork to be measured and paid separately. (b) DI fittings shall be measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr away and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggraget in foundation filling/copying bed plate etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying,fixing or laying in trenches submercible cable 25 Sqmm, 3 core copper cable, 1100 volts conforming IS 694 complete with all accessories all as specified and as directed.

Supply,laying & fixing double wall corrugated (DWC) pipes for passing the Cable along wall/ under road,path etc made of high density polythyline (HDPE) with all accessories i.e. all type of joints,Sockets,Elbows,bends and End caps etc. all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge of size 40 mm outer dia and 38 mm inner dia of pipe.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in loose / soft soil all as specified and directed by Engineer - in – Charge.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in fdn/mass filling/drain sub base etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing 50 mm thick cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in plinth protection surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brickwork in CM 1:6 with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing Reinforced Cement Concrete (1:1.5:3) type A1 using 20 mm graded aggregate as in foundation including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases of columns etc all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing Reinforced Cement Concrete (1:1.5:3) type A1 using 20 mm graded aggregate as in columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing Reinforced Cement Concrete (1:1.5:3) type A1 using 20 mm graded aggregate as in beams, cantilever, lintels over 1.5 m complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing Reinforced Cement Concrete (1:1.5:3) type A1 using 20 mm graded aggregate as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floor, roof, landing, balcknies, conopies, decks, slab and in shelves and like complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 10 mm dia and over TMT bars, cut to length bend to shape as required including cranking, hooking etc and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 37 above but 6 to 8 mm dia as in stirrups, spacers and binders.

Use and waste formwork to sides of concrete foundation footings base of coloumns sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams, and similar work vertical or to batter for rough finished flat surface of concrete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste formwork to sides of columns, pillars, posts, struts, piers and stanchions, rectangular or square for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete all as specified and as directed.

Use and waste formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam hunching, girders, lintels, cantlievers, shelves including supports, etc for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, la ndings and similar work; not exceeding 200 mm thick (Horizontal or slopping) for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) on fair face of brick or concrete surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:6) on fair face of brick or concrete surface finished even and fair all as specified.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 over concrete surface as on ceiling finish even and smooth w/o using extra cement incl taking down old plaster on ceiling ,scrubing down with water etc & dispose off debris where directed by EIC, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying two coats of cement base paint over one coat of primer on plastered surfaces of walls including preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for two coat of oil bound distemper by spray machine over one coat of primer on new plasterd surfaces of walls, pillars cornces etc incl prepartion of new plastered surfaces through electrical operated grinder complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for applying two coats of white washing on plastered surfaces of ceilings including preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Box type steel window, ERW hollow P-Section size 60 mm x 25 mm, double rebated ERW section of 1.25mm thick, comprising of glazed skelton & gauzed shutter of ERW tube P-Section size 50mm x 20mm with one No openable leaf for each shutter consisting of two Nos Sashbar of T-section 20 x 3 mm welded to frame with one No verticle mullion of ERW box type T Section of size 60mm x 25mm and FI 2mm thick welded/screwed to frame for fixing of glass including fittings and fixture like as Handle, Tower Bolt, Stopper, Cleat, Pintal hinges, holdfast and guard bars etc as given below all as shown on drg No CEJZ/TD-1020/08 SH 1/3 to 3/3 dated 01 may 2008 complete all as specified and directed as follows:- (a) Hold fast 150mm long of MS flat 12mm x 3mm - 4 Nos per Window (b) Handle of Z section 20mm x 25mm, 100mm long- 01 No per leaf (c) MS tower bolt 150mm long - 02 Nos per leaf (d) Z Section stopper 20mm x 25mm, 100mm long - 01 No per leaf (e) Cleat 55mm long of hollow square 15mm, 0.63mm thick- 01 Nos per leaf (f) MS pintol hinges size 75mmx12mm - 2 Nos per leaf (g) MS guard bar 10mm square bars @ 10cm c/c fixed horizontly (h) 3mm thick clear glass sheet 3 Nos per leaf glazing with oil putty (i) Stainless steel wire cloth, 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with stainless steel wire staples in each leaf Note :- Including taking down old steel / wooden window including hold fast PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (four No’s for Each window) & around required plaster in CM 1:4 and match with existing finish complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Material and labour for 18-20 mm thick machine cut kota stone slab laid over 20 mm thick screed bed of cm 1:6 as in flooring & riser and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade, rubbing and polishing complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 Type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in flooring incl finishing the cement concrete surface even and smooth with using extra cement , rubbish off the primises and incl demolition complete all as specified & directed .

Material and labour for 40 mm thick in PCC (1:2:4) as in Damp proof course to horizontal or vertical surfaces including necessary formwork and applying evenly a coat of blown type bitumen at the rate of 1.50 kg per square metre and blinding with clean dry sand @ 0.05 cu. m. per sq. m complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stonr aggregete)as in coping,benching etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying two coat of undiluted thick coat of acrylic reinforcement liquid as per manufacturer instructions elastorneric water proofing membrane with UV resistance properties and solar refective properties over one coat of primer (1:3, Dilution:water) complete all as specified and directed. Note: Every each coat gap between 6 hrs) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 35mm thick Flush shutters , solid core construction , with block board core and plywood face panels, commercial type on both sides Complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 150mm long aluminium anodised barrel tower bolts stove enameled black, with bright bolt 12mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 125 mm long extruded Aluminium alloy anodised Butt hinges with galvanized mild steel hinge pin type C 21 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 125 mm long Extruded Aluminium alloy handles, fabricated type, anodised complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 250mm long aluminium alloy, anodised, sliding door bolt with hasp, staple (bolt type) and fixing clips of sheet, cast or extruded sections and fixing bolts and sliding bolts of extruded section and fixing bolts and sliding bolt of extruded sections or cast aluminium alloy and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for two coats of synthetic enamel painting over a coat of pink primer to new wood or wooden based surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for two coats of synthetic enamel painting over a coat of red oxide to new steel or steel based surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing sands, straps, supports or stays for rain water , ventilating pipes, including back, of required hooks (stay) heavy, large gates ,manhole covers , hook and pintle hinges large haps and staples, chains, hand made sliding bolts, clamps, hold fasts, wind ties, hooks for hanging fan plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood trusses or rafter,knee piece insert two way strap and three way, straps , plate washers and similar small articles conforming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing MS framed work as in door or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates,rail, braces,etc and similar work conform-ing to Fe 290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour Rolled mild steel work such as Joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, fixed independently, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated) and similar work confirming to Fe-410 W(Gde E-250)quality B complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for broken brick hard core of gauge not exceeding 63mm deposited spread & levelled inn layers not exc 15 cm thick watered and rammed to true surface with broken stones or boulders complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for Sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed.
