Demolition of un reinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15 cm thickness (below & above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in Roof slab, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas /sunken portion of WC/Bath of any thickness complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Necessary arrangement to be made such as formwork/wirenet/Cushion of thickness 300mm before demolition of existing roof slab to avoid damage of floor of 1st floor ( Roof of ground floor). Rate deemed to be included in this rate. No extra payment shall be made separately for this arrangement.

Removing building materials etc to a distance of 1km, including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination and complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of damaged concrete along with loose damaged and cracked concrete/cover concrete at all specified locations up to beyond the corroded steel reinforcement to a depth of 10 mm minimum behind the reinforcement by chipping/hacking with chisel and hammer or by mechanical means like chisel hammer, pneumatic chipper including high pressure water jetting to chipped concrete and reinforcement and removal and disposal of debris within owners premises including all plant and machineries. Hard concrete shall not be removed. However if the rebar is corroded, concrete around it shall be removed. Depth of chipping may very from 50 mm to150 mm complete with labour, machinery, tools etc. The edges of repair locations shall be saw cut to a depth of at least 10 mm to avoid feather edging and provide a square edge. Removal of dust, loose particles, marine growth etc. from concrete surface manually by wire brush, mechanically or any other means to obtain a sound surface over areas other than above complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning all rust/ scales/corrosion from reinforcement bars using rust remover agent like Reebaklens RR of Fosroc or equivalent having Specific Gravity 1.16 - 1.22. The material to be applied to the rusted metal using brush and Make :-eaving to dry for 30 mins & washing surface with fresh water as required to exposed reinforcement bars complete all as specified and as directed.

M & F for Providing & applying inhibition coats/system to exposed reinforcement bars after drying & also new bars after cleaning & removing scales and rust completely as specified. Two component inhibitor Nitozinc Primer or equivalent having specific gravity of 1.75, Adhesive bond strength 1.5 N/mm2, Solid content- 60 %, 40 microns DFT shall be used as per manufacturers instructions and specification in two coats including all labours, tools and tackles, necessary surface preparation and necessary protection after and during work complete all as specified and as directed.

M & F for Providing and applying bond coat on the prepared surface to receive polymer modified mortar/polymer modified micro concrete, with two component epoxy based bonding coat Nitobond EP Std of Fosroc make Dr Fixit, having specific gravity 1.15 to 1.2 gm/cc, Compressive strength(BS 6319 Pt.2)- 50 Mpa at 7 days, Flexural strength strength(BS 6319 Pt.3)- 35 Mpa at 7 days, Tensile strength (BS 6319 Pt.7)- 20 Mpa at 7 days, Shear Strength (BS 6319 Pt.4)- 10 Mpa at 7 days, having an over lay time of 6 hrs. and 300 C. Laying of reinstatement polymer modified mortar or micro concrete shall be completed within the overlay time of bonding coat. The bond coat act as a bonding coat between old and new concrete. Pouring the same into the formwork using suitable arrangement or if required using pumping device for uniform flow of micro concrete. The side shuttering can be removed after 3 days and the bottom shuttering after 7 days ensuring proper bond between the micro concrete and existing concrete substrate. M & F Providing and laying of polymer modified single component, alkaline resistant fiber reinforced, thixotropic, cementitious patch repair mortar Renderoc SP 40 of Fosroc make Dr Fixit that achieves compressive strength (BS 1881 Pt.116) -> 20 Mpa at 1 day & > 45 Mpa at 28 days, Tensile Strength (BS 6319 Pt.7) > 2.5 Mpa at 28 Days, Flexural Strength (BS 6319 Pt.3)>7 Mpa at 28 days, Drying shrinkage to ASTM C 157-93, 28 days < 1000 micro strain. Finishing the same with trowel carefully compacting the same around the rebars and finishing to bring it in line with existing concrete surface on the beams, slabs, piles etc., where the thickness of application is average 30 mm in patches as per specification after applying bonding coat (bonding coat shall be payable separately). After plastering the sunken surface, sunken portion to be filled with water and tested for 72 hrs (after required peirod of curing) to observe leakage/seepages, leakge/seapage if any shall be arrested by pressure grouting and re-tested till leakages/seapages completely stopped. after ponding test, the surface shall be dried and bottom and sides of the sunken slab shall be treated, priming the plastered surface with bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384 @ 0.3 kg per Sqm and applying a tack coat of industrial butiumen 85/25 @ 1.2 kg per Sqm over which applying using glass fibre base bituminous felt type II and grade 2 (conforming to IS-7193 1994) and applying one coat of hot blown bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.2 kg per Sqm including 450mm long 25mm dia medium grade GI pipe shall be provided at the lowest portion Spout pipe should be 200mm from the external face of wall for draining out water in case of leakage. The joints in CI/GI/PVC pipes, nahani traps, WC and P/S trap connection shall be made leak proof. The gap around the pipes in walls/beams shall be properly filled and sealed with water proof joints fillers complete all as specified and as directed.
