Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-1 and 300.2 with lead up to 1000m as per technical specification clause 301.5

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.

Providing, laying and spreading material on a prepared base, cement @ 4%by weight to the spread material manually, mix in place with Rotavator and compacting with the Road Roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of base.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen VG-10 using bitumen distributor at the rate of 0.35 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 including cost of bitumen. MORD

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded Premix Carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen (VG-10) to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in Hot Mix plant, laying and finishing with paver finisher and compaction with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by Seal Coat 'Type-C' as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 508 including cost of bitumen. Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M-15 grade cement concrete 450 x 450 x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1701

Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1703 (Kilometer Stone)
