Part "A" - Civil Works

Item no. 1 Conducting and reporting investigation on all kinds of soil by boring hole of required depth by using shell and auger equipment including standard penetration test, collection of undisturbed soil samples at every identifiable change of strata, conducting laboratory tests on soil samples to decide necessary shear strength parameters of soil as well as compression index and coefficient of consolidation. These tests include natural moisture content, bulk and dry density, liquid and plastic limits, particle size distribution, and specific gravity, unconfined compression tests, tri-axial shear tests and consolidation tests on specimen from collected undisturbed soil samples and particle size distribution, liquid limit, plastic limit etc. On specimen from collected disturbed soil samples. Up to 10 m depth.

Item no. 2 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 M in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 M, as directed by engineer-in-charge. (A) all kind of soil

Item no. 3 Providing and laying m15 grade levelling course plain cement concrete under rcc box, ramp,stair slab, open foundations, tie beams and any other foundation/ locations etc.Using portland pozzolona cement (conforming to strength requirement of is:1489, 4031, 4032) including the cost of centering and shuttering with all leads, lifts and depths all complete as per approved drawings and as directed by engineer-in-charge.

Item no. 4 Providing and laying machine batched, machine mixed and machine vibrated design mix reinforced concrete(m-50 grade) for construction of rcc boxes (5.0M*2.7M size) retaining wall,vertical wall ,wing wall ,drop wall, curtain wall , haunch, piers, pier caps, abutments, abutment caps, shear key, bearing pedestals, dirt wall, portal frame, seismic arrestors etc. Using ordinary portland cement (conforming to strength requirement of is:8112) as per approved drawings supplied by the engineer-in-charge including all types of shuttering, staging, scaffolding, necessary tools, plants, machinery and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, lifts, and depths true to level and position all complete but excluding the cost of reinforcement. Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately as per item 14.

Item no. 5 Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone/ prefabricated at site/ cast-in-situ at site of m-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. As per direction of engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment). (Precast c.C. Kerb stone shall be approved by engineer-in-charge).

Item no. 6 Providing and laying factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver blocks, sand blasted, of required strength,thickness & size/shape, made by table vibratory method , to attain superior smooth finish using pu or equivalent moulds, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding / laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand in footpath, parks,lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc. All complete as per manufacturer’s specifications & direction of engineer -in-charge: (sand free of organic material, clay balls or other deletirious matter as per class ii grading of table 300-3 of morth specifications). 60 Mm thick with m-30 grade concrete.

Item no. 7 Providing and laying 40/50mm compacted thickness of bitumimnous concrete with bitumen of grade vg-30 @ 5.5% (Percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of aggregate) on prepared surface with specified graded crushed stone aggregates for wearing course including hot mixing of stone aggregates, filler and bitumen in computerised batch type hot mix plant of 100-120 tph capacity, transporting the mixed material by tippers to site and laying the mixed material with paver finisher fitted with electronic sensing device to the required level and grade and rolling by road rollers, as per morth specifications, to achieve the desired density and compaction, but excluding the cost of tack coat complete as per teh directions of the engineer-in-charge.

Item no. 8 Providing and laying flamed finish granite stone flooring in required design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building all complete as per the architectural drawings with 18 mm thick stone slab over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) laid and jointed with cement slurry and pointing with white cement slurry admixed with pigment of matching shade including rubbing, curing and polishing etc.All complete as specified and as directed by the engineer-in-charge. Flamed finish granite stone slab jet black, cherry red, elite brown, cat eye or equivalent.

Item no. 9 Providing and laying tactile tile (for vision impaired persons as per standards) of size 300x300x9.8Mm having with water absorption less than 0.5% And conforming to is: 15622 of approved make in all colours and shades in for outdoor floors such as footpath, court yard, multi modals location etc., Laid on 20mm thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1cement : 4 coarse sand) in all shapes & patterns including grouting the joints with white cement mixed with matching pigments etc. Complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge.

Item no. 10 Providing and fixing stainless steel ( grade 304) railing made of hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., Including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainlesssteel bolts etc., Of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab or where ever required with suitable arrangement as per approval of engineer-incharge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts,bolts,fasteners etc.)

Item No. 11 Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) Trusses etc., Including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. Complete. Hot finished welded type tubes as per specifications.

Item no. 12 Providing & fixing uv stabilised fiberglassreinforced plastic sheet roofing up to any pitch, including fixing with polymer coated 'j' or 'l' hooks, bolts & nuts 8mm dia. G.I plain/bitumen washers complete but excluding the cost of purlins, rafters, trusses etc. The sheets shall be manufactured out of 2400 tex panel rovigs incorporating minimum 0.3% Ultra-violet stabiliser in resin system under approximately 2400 psi and hot cured. They shall be of uniform pigmentation and thickness without air pockets and shall conform to is 10192 and is 12866.The sheets shall be opaque or translucent, clear or pigmented, textured or smooth as specified. 2 Mm thick flat.

Item no.13 Brick work with common burnt clay f.P.S. (Non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 In foundation & plinthl in all shapes and sizes in : cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand).

Item no. 14 Providing & placing in position at all depths and heights thermo-mechanically treated (tmt) fe 500 d grade reinforcement bars including cutting, straightening, bending, binding with mild steel annealed binding wire of 18 swg i/c, testing of materials complete as per approved drawings, specifications and as per directions of the engineer-in-charge. The cost of all laps & splices, testing, welding, stiffeners, chairs and spacer bars, mechanical couplers for splicing 25 mm and above dia. Bars shall be included in the quoted rates as per specifications.

Item no. 15 Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth,sides of foundations etc. In layers not exceeding 20cm in depth,consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 M.

Item no. 16 Disposal of moorum/ building rubbish/ malba/ similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground for lead upto 10 km for all lifts, complete as per directions of engineer-in-charge. Note - item to be applicable in urban areas having directions for restricted hours for movement/plying of load carriying motor vehicle of 3.5 Cum or more.

Item no. 17 Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix m-25 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per is: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of engineer-in-charge.“(Note :- cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum.“Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/recoverable separately). All works upto plinth level. Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately as per item 14.

Item no. 18 Extra for providing richer mixes at all floor levels. Note:- excess/less cement over the specified cement content used is payable /recoverable separately. Providing m-35 grade concrete instead of m-25 grade bmc/ rmc. (Note : cement content considered in m-35 is @ 350 kg/ cum)

Item no. 20 Providing and laying m30 grade reinforced cement concrete with 43/53 grade ordinary portland cement in cast-in-situ approach slab, friction slab over the approaches, complete as per drawing with making all joints and their sealing, interlocking keys at regular intervals in the friction slab, testing of materials etc. Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately as per item 14.

Item no. 21 Water proofing of base slab:-supplying and installing 1.2 Mm thick fully bonded hdpe membrane along with sealed tapes & others accessories as per manufacturer's methodology before casting of the base rcc slab. Hdpe membrane should have puncture resistance of 1000n (as per astm e 154), elongation > 500% and hydrostatic head resistance not less than 70 mtr head of water (astm d 751-06), tensile strength 27 mpa (astm d412) and peel adhesion to concrete 1500n/m (astm d903 modified) .The system should be fully bonded to the rcc and consists of highly resilient hdpe film, a pressure sensitive -adhesive layer which is covered by a weather proof protective layer .The membrane shall have minimum of 75 mm side and end laps which shall be sealed with double sided adhesive tape (lap joint adhesion strength 13.5 N/mm ( as per astm 1876). The entire waterproofing treatment should be guaranteed by the principal manufacturer as a system, for ten years and the work should be executed as per manufacturer recommendations, all in accordance to techincal specification as per the direction of engineer-in-charge.

Item no. 22 Water proofing of retaining wall:-providing and laying of 1.5 Mm thick self-adhesive waterproofing membrane topped with hdpe cross laminated film with the following technical properties- elongation longitudinal - 300% & transverse - 200 % as per bs en 12311-1, resistance to hydrostatic head 60m (astm d 5385), adhesion to primed concrete (astm-d1000)- 4.9Mm, puncture resistance of >200 n as per astm e154. The system including cleaning the surface, priming the surface with cold applied bituminous primer @ 4-6 sqmtr/litre, properly sealing the joints & maintaining 75 mm overlap between the membrane selvedge & 100 mm overlap on the end joints of the membrane over the slab etc. Complete.The overlap joints shall be cleaned and sealed as per manufacturers specifications including sealing corners and drains etc. Or as desired as per site requirement and direction of engineer in charge. The membrane shall be taken to a height of 300 mm above the ground level and terminated as per manufacturer's recommendations. Providing aluminiunm flashing, wherever required for termination of membrane at all locations and finally sealing the strip using polysulphide sealant. The laid membrane shall be covered with protection board - 10-20 mm thick expanded polystyrene board spot bonded on retaining wall before backfilling, all in accordance to techincal specification as per the direction of engineer-in-charge.

Item no. 23 Water proofing of top slab:- providing and applying environment friendly,water based,pitch free, single component polyurethane system cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture to give a tough elastomeric waterproof membrane. The membrane when cured shall be capable of extension not less than 400% forming a thickness of 1.5 Mm. The membrane formed shall have the following properties: + elongation (astm d412) : 400% + tensile strength (astm d412) : >1.9 N/mm2 + adhesion in-peel test (astm c 836) : >50 n + recovery from 350% elongation (astm d412) : 95% + tear resistance (astm d624-00) : 15 kn/m + initial hardness shore a (astm 2246-86): 60 + water permeability @ 5 bar (bsen 12390): nil + chemical resistance: unaffected by mild acids, alkalis and water borne salts. Does not biodegrade.

Item no. 24 12 Mm cement plaster of mix 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand) at locations specified & as per direction of engineer-in-charge.

Item no. 25 Providing and erecting 2.00 Metre high temporary barricading at site as per drawing/ direction of engineer-in-charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the engineer-in- charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of engineer-in-charge. (Note :- one time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work i/c shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).

Item no 26 providing driving / retrieving u-section sheet pile profile by vibro hammer as per design drawing and specification including all consumable plant and machinary necessary safety measures all enabling work completion. Only the dept of sheet pile equal to the depth of excavation required as per structural drawings shall be measured for payment purpose.

Item no. 27 Providing and laying 50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness of dense bituminous macadam with bitumen of grade vg-30 @ 5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of aggregate) on prepared surface with specified graded crushed stone aggregates including hot mixing of stone aggregates, filler and bitumen in computerised batch type hot mix plant of 100 - 120 tph capacity, transporting the mixed material by tippers to site and laying the mixed material with paver finisher fitted with electronic sensing device to the required level and grade and rolling by road rollers, as per morth specifications, to achieve the desired density and compaction, but excluding the cost of primer/tack coat.

Item no. 28 Providing and applying tack coat using cationic bitumen emulsion rs1 grade as per is:8887 including spraying the emulsion with mechanically operated spray unit including cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications clause 503 of mort&h specifications, 2013 .

Item no. 29 Supply and mixing integral crystalline admixture based waterproofing treatment to be added to rcc at a dosage rate of 0.8 To 1% by weight of the cement content of the concrete (subject to maximum of 3 kg per cum). Crystalline waterproofing system shall be added to the concrete in the form of dry powder during concrete batching process or in transit mixer. Thereafter, the concrete shall be placed with necessary compaction, curing etc. Complete as per normal good practices and as per direction of engineer-in-charge.

Item no. 30 Providing and laying in position ms pipe fabricated/manufactured out of ms plate of steel grade fe-410 as per is-3589:2001.Internally coated with food grade epoxy coating and external/outside bitumastic coating min. Thickness of ms plate as specified complete in all respects suitable for rubber ring jointing etc as per direction of engineer-in-charge. 200Mm dia pipe

Item no. 31 Providing and fixing c.I. Sluice valves (with cap) complete with bolts, nuts,rubber insertions etc. 200 Mm dia.

Itrem no. 32 Preparation of structural design and drawing of all components i.E. Foundation, sub structrure & super structure of rcc box or any other type of structure as per scope of the work including other structure components like retaining wall,staircase,ramps and any other structural member required under the scope of work as per direction of engineer-in-charge.

Item No. 16 Supply and Laying of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE power cable of 1.1 KV grade aluminium conductor, armoured of 4 x 25 size in the existing RCC/ HUME/ METAL/HDPE pipe as reqd.

Item No. 17 Supplying and making indoor end termination with brass compression gland and aluminium lugs for following size of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade as required. i) 4 Core x 25 sq. mm A2XFY Cable

Item No. 18 Supplying, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of non clogging dry type submersible sewage pump in a well/sump on pedestals with followings:- a) Discharge - 120 Cum./Hour b) Total Head - 17 Meters c) Solid Size - 46 mm d) Delivery - 100 mm dia e) Temperature - Ambient - 40 degree calcius f) Speed -1440 RPM g) Voltage - 415 volts 3 phase 50 Hz AC supply h) Casing - Cast iron. i) Water level controller with electrodes for automatic starting at different levels as per specifications and stopping as required.

Item No. 23 Earthing with G.I. earth pipe 4.5 meter long, 40 mm dia including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as reqd.

Item No. 24 Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm G.I strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/terminating with G.I. nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required.(Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of G.I. nutbolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Item No. 28 Providing and laying of one number DWC High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) antirodent pipe conforming to IS : 14930 ( Part-II ) complete with necessary fittings for protection of 1.1 KV grade U.G. cables laid in ground at a depth of 50cm or as directed by Engineer in Charge etc, as reqd. i) 90/76 mm dia (nominal size).
