REPAIRS/ MAINTENANCE TO DRAINS, CULVERTS AND DESILTING OF DRAIN AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AT HQTC BANGALORE

Desilting of drains including cleaning of shrubs/ bushes, vegetation manually or through mechanical means and making good complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: All demolition materials shall be removed from site and deposited out side Defance land at Contractor's risk and cost. No extra payment shall be made for removal. After removing of debris , site shall be clean and level as required and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) of any description and in any position not specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for precast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slabs for manholes and the like etc., set in cement mortar 1:4 with plain fair faces complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work; not exc 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for reinforced cement concrete type B-1 1:2:4 (Using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, inculding cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips including necessary form works complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for TMT bars 6 to 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking bending etc., and binding with mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for providing precast cement concrete louvres and jallies, type B0 1:2:4 (Using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) 50mm thick (measured solid) including all mouldings but not excluding frame set in cement mortar 1:4 including dismantling existing louvres and jallies complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m depth for foundation manholes etc., and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Excavation over areas not exc 1.5m deep and getting out, in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cms in solft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing excavated material exc 1.50 km but not exc 15 Km and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for Precast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks type C1, 1:3:6 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregate) exc 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6, complete including demolition of existing broken/ damage brick work or stone masonary built in cement mortar etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for providing precast cement concrete solid building blocks or slabs 10 cm thick (with plain or interlocking joints) type C1, 1:3:6 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and setting in cement mortar 1:6, complete in walls including demolition of existing broken/damage brick work or stone masonry built in cement mortar etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone / bowlder machinery built in cement marter or cement lime marter including all qouins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for walling of randam rubble uncoursed well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per item No.15 here-in-before but except stone complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for flush pointing to random rubble masonry, uncoursed or brought upto courses in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for framed work such as grills, gratings, etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling cast iron work of any description complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for cast iron work grade FG-150, unmachined, in brackets, gullytraps, gratings, railing, frames, manhole covers, fire and soot doors, dampers, stop valve boxes, gate stops, parts of ranges, balusters and similar articles (articles not exc 5 kg each) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per item No.21 here-in-before but articles exc 5 kg each complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for mild steel tubular trussed, purlins, fencing posts, crane gantries rails and fastenings including special shaped washer etc., complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 grade St -240 including distance pieces, cleats, nuts and bolts any size and length etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for rolled mild plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched, forming holes with riveted, bolted or welded attachment conforming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for mild steel screw bolts diameter of neck 16 to 20 (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nuts, length of bolt exc 5cm but not exc 10cm long complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for prepainted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheeting 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws/J hooks and bolts as required complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparation of old chequered tiled and paverblock surfaces/ existing footpath, hard standing by removing all the caked mud with wire brushes and cleaning surfaces with necessary acid and description not otherwise described and applying one coat of weather proof tile guard apex paint or equivalent of any colour complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per item No.30 here-in-before but two coats of weather proof tile guard apex paint or equivalent of any colour complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparation of old decorated plsatered or unplastered surface of walls including scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots etc., and applying one coat of white washing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per item No.32 here-in-before but two coats of white washing on walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Grubbing up tree trunk including cutting of trunk portion exc 30cm and not exc 100cm girth protruding over ground, digging out roots, filling holes and leveling off ground, stacking of serviceable material and removing of unserviceable material to a distance n exc. 50 m and clearing site

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed ware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar and internal dia of pipe 300mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for reinforced concrete pipes 300mm bore, class NP-3, laid and jointed complete with collers complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested; in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 for 300mm dia pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling of PVC drain pipes of 150/110mm bore including all fittings jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches or from wall, if required and removing from site complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for PVC (SWR) pipes 150mm bore single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and completely surrounding pipes with concrete after they are laid and tested; in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 for 150mm dia pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Material and labour for plain cement concrete (1:4:8), type D2 (Using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for 75mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in floor including finishing the surface even and fair complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for 50mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for floor including finishing the surface even and fair complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (Using 40mm graded stone aggregate) cement concrete in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/ stopped ends etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4, type B-0 (Using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping and benching and the like including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick other then fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:6, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (Using 40mm graded stone aggregate) including finishing the surface even and fair complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for coloured designed chequered cement concrete tiles of a size 300x300x25mm thick with grey cement and pigment in floors etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match and including 15mm thick screed bed of cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design and pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness and size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of interlocking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for hardcore of gauge not exc 63 mm of broken stone, deposited, spread and leveled in layers not exc 15 cms thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for forming construction joint 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound, grade 'A' complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparing new plastered surfaces and applying three coats of white wash on surfaces of walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing old dumped junk/ building materials/ debris/ tree roots, trunk and branches of any size etc., to a distance of 30 Km or beyond, out of premises of metropolitan area, including loading, unloading by manually or by mechanical means (JCB) and to be transported through tractor trolly or tipper and stacking at the destination complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
