Sch 'A' Sec-XI (Miscellaneous Items)Note : This schedule is not pre-priced by MES and the pre-priced rate indicated as "Rs 0.00" under Col. 5 siginifies this fact only.

Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any , transportation ,taxes,etc. for area filling / area development upto MGL level excluding traverse earth filling (above MGL) including raising of original ground level (upto MGL) by approved earth and including spreading in layers not exc 30cm thick each layer ,watering , compaction with 8 tonne to 12 tonne power roller and finished to required size and shape etc.

Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any , transportaion ,taxes etc. for earth filling in earth traverses of NAT & VIFT above MGL upto top of traverses as shown on drawings and including spreading in layers not exc 30cm thick each layer ,watering , compaction with 8 tonne to 12 tonne power roller and finished to required size and shape etc. Notes for Item No 12.01 to 12.02 (i) Earth required for the item, shall be supplied by contractor , from out side MOD land of any lead, at his own own arrangement. (ii) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation ,compaction, royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) With reference to clause 3.6 of MES part-II on serial page No-21 it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment /traverse of filled earth after consolidation /compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (iv) Total quantity /partial quantity of earth may not be available in Guwahati Area. The contractor has to bring the earth from out side area and it is advised to quote the rate considering availability of soil and its lead involved.

M&L for construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 900 X 900 X 900 mm (internal dimension) one brick thick wall in CM 1:6 on 100mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (40mm graded aggregate) as in foundation, and 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) internally, externally up to 15cm below GL, providing valve pit cover made of 3mm thick MS sheet/plate, welded including provision of hinges, handle and locking arrangement including 40 X 40 X 6mm angle iron frame fixed on top of valve pit by means of hold fast 150mm long, embedded in PCC block 1:2:4 type B-1 (20mm graded aggregate) of size 230 X 200 X 100mm, including two coats of anti-corrosive paint over a coat of red oxide zinc Chrome primer and necessary earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

PVC insulated, PVC sheathed armored heavy duty 1100 volts grade UG cable with copper conductor of size 1.5Sqmm 2 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and jointing of 150 mm diameter ductile iron pipes with flanged ends suitable for flanged rubber joint centrifugally cast, class (K-9) , inner side cement lining and outer side black bitumen coating and any length, laid in trenches including push on rubber (EPDM) ring with ISI marked and incl other jointing material complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fixing of DI special of tee bends, sockets, reducer for 150mm diameter pipes complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing service bracket for street/security light fittings of 32 mm bore GI light grade pipe with clamps nut bolt and washer of suitable size required at site with one coat of red oxide primer and synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to the galvanised earth lead by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel using GI strip 25x4 mm as earthing lead as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling, disposal of surplus soil, earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate pit, funnel, 20mm dia GI medium grade watering pipe, 32 mm dia GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe, CI frame and cover, wire, copper lugs etc mesh, chorcoal and common salt in alternatee layer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F LED tube light fitting suitable for 1 x 20/22 Watt, flameproof type (FLP-WP), made of aluminium alloy LM6 and covered by heat resistant toughened glass, suitable for T8 LED rod and recommended for hazardious group of IIA & IIB and Zone 1 & 2, IP-65 with one number LED rod (T8) made out of Glass Tube coated with suitable silicon base adhesive to provide glare free uniform light dissipation, extruded aluminium heatsink for mounting LEDs, mercury free , Maximum power consumption 20-22W, inbuilt driver and G13 base with minimum system level output of 2050 Lumens @ 6500 CCT and CRI >80. Supply and fixed display/notice boards(white board) of size 1800mm x 1200mm with looking arrangement all as specified in TD drawing No CESZ/2015/TD/024 complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Whitemark/Alkosign or equivalent makes as approved by GE.

M&L liquid seal coat applying evenly binder @9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinding with 6.3mm size stone chippings @ 0.09 cum per 10 sqm and rolled to a uniform smooth surface.

M&L Forming 40mm thick Expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘A’ thickness of concrete slab is 300mm to 400mm complete all as specified and directed

M&L for continuous edging with 100 mm thick PCC solid blocks M-10 (Nominal mix) (Block size 300 x 200 x 100 mm) laid on edges vertically with width equal to the depth of the blocks including embedding the blocks in ground and taping the ground around the blocks and removal of surplus soil if any complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new wall surfaces (RCC/Brick wall of NAT & VIFT) and applying two coats of acrylic exterior weather resistant paint over a coat of acrylic primer with camouflage pattern complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Wet mix macadam(WMM), 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) in two layers(75 mm thick each layer) compacted separately with coarse aggregates of grading as specified in SSR Part I clause No. 20.B.2.5.4 and spread rolled and consolidating to required gradient and camber as specified in sub para 20.B.5 of MES Schedule Part-I complete all as specified and directed.
