Clearing jungle including up rooting of rank vegetation grass bush wood trees and sapling of girth upto 30 cm. measured at a height of 1 m above ground level & removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 mt. outside the periphery of the area cleared. (if however, only grass is met with the area will be measured and paid for under item 4001).

Demolishing cement concrete 1:3:6 or richer mixincluding disposal of material with in 50 m. lead.

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical/manual means in all types of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, sand, clay , gravel, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, laterite rock, soft rock, ordinary rock, disintegrated or weathered rock, fissured/shattered, decomposed rock and all such materials either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may be convinient or permitted, inclusive of chiselling, wedging etc. but blasting prohibited in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditions etc. including pumping or bailing out water/dewatering including setting out construction of, shoring and strutting and bracing, removal of stump and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, providing barricading, danger lighting, guarding etc.backfilling the excavated earth to the extent required and disposing of surplus excavated soil/rock at specified specified areas with all leads and lifts etc.as per specifications and drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge etc. all complete.

Supplying jamba wooden bally piles 150 mm mean diameter cut to length required (not exceeding 9 metres) and planted in position ready for driving: a) Upto 2.5 m. long pile.

( c ) Above 3.5 m. upto 5.00 m. long piles

Driving down wooden piles of 150mm diameter either in vertical or battered work to approved lines and level through various strata including arranging all the appliances necessary for pile driving complete at site ( portion in ground only to be measured). a) Upto 2.5 m. long pile.

Centering and shuttering including struttings, propping etc. and removal of formwork for :( a ) Foundations, footings, basis for columns and mass concrete.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand:3 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: All works upto plinth level.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: All works upto plinth level.

Laterite boulder masonry in cement concrete1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand:6 graded stone aggregate of 20 mm. Nominal size ) in foundation.

Earthwork in embankment with approved earth ( contractor's earth ) /moorum including spreading the earth in layers not exceeding 250 mm. in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with half tonne roller or wooden or steel hammer including filling up ground depression, dressing etc. complete with all lead and lift and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Providing woodwork in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows trusses & other frames wrought framed and fixed in positon. second class matti wood.

Painting 2 coats with oil type wood preservative of approved brand & manufacture on new work.

18 mm. Cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm. Thick cement plaster 1:5 ( 1 cement: 5 coarse sand) and top layer 6 mm. Thick with cement plaster 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 coarse sand ) finished with sponge.
