Supply of 5 watt VHF Digital Walkie Talkie

1) Only Manufacturers/OEM or their authorized agent/dealers/ distributors are eligible to participate in the tender. The authorized agent/dealer/distributors need to quote with Tender specific authorization from the manufacturers/OEM along with the offer failing which offer will be summarily rejected. (2) The OEM or its authorized representative should have established in India a functioning Service Support Centre for service/repair of the offered model of VHF Sets. Proof of availability of functioning Service Support Centres with address, names & contact details of key personnel shall be submitted by the tenderer along with the offer. (3)The tenderer should have valid Dealer Possession License (DPL) from WPC to fulfil all the WPC regulations. Copy of the DPL, shall be submitted along with the offer failing which the offer shall be summarily rejected. (4)The tenderer shall submit an undertaking that they will submit Fitment Guarantee Certificate for accessories from OEM at the time of supply. (5) The Tenderer must enclose clause wise compliance of all clauses of RDSO Specification. Offers received without clause wise compliance of RDSO specifications shall be summarily rejected. 6 (a) Offer of only those bidders shall be considered valid whose offered make & model of VHF set have passed RDSO Type test and POC as on the date of opening of tender. 6 (b) The VHF set being procured shall be used for Driver Guard communication which is very critical for train operations. Therefore, to ensure the quality of supplied VHF sets, Railway reserve the right to random select minimum two pairs of sets from each supplied lot and test them thoroughly as per clause 9.7 of RDSO specifications. 6 (c) If any of the sets fails during thorough testing mentioned in Para 6 (b) above, the entire supplied lot shall be rejected. (7) OEM's Authorisation Clause: Bidder to quote with Bid specific authorization directly from OEM otherwise offer will be summarily rejected without any back reference and no representation will be entertained. The OEM's authorization certificate should be on company's letter head and must contain the full name, designation, active e-Mail address & Mobile number of the authorized signatory along with company's stamp. Without these the authorization certificate from OEM will not be considered as valid and offer will be summarily rejected without any back reference and no representation will be entertained. Buyer can seek the authentication of valid authorization certificate from OEM, if required.

In terms of Railway Board letter No. 2022/RS(L)/709/I (SER-VHF Set) (E 3385444) dated: 02.07.2024, preference to Make in India order 2017 is not applicable and offer from Bidder other than local supplier (Class-1, Class -II ) will considered for suitability .

Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

Special condition for inspection as per Correction Slip No.012 along with all latest correction slips uploaded on IREPS website is applicable.

The spare battery will be of the same MAKE as of the original Battery fitted with the VHF set.

TC/GC of the manufacturer for each Equipment/Batteries/Charger should be submitted at the time of supply and inspection.
