Taking down unserviceable self-starter 24 volts for DG set (Cummins Model KTA-50-G3) from engine,dismantling and opening of stater and armature,replace the wornout carbon brush,pinion,ignition coil bearing,bushing, including servicing, varnishing of stater after repairing assembling,refixed to same position complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs rotating rectifier diode set (forward - 3 Nos & reverse - 3 Nos) along with surge arrestors suitable for 1250 KVA Cummins DG set (Cummins Model KTA-50-G3), fixing and connecting in the circuit, starting and testing on load complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for carrying out "B" check for 1250 KVA DG set [Make: Cummins, Model: KTA-50 G3] as per manufacturer's recommendation including replacement of necessary spares and filters such as Fuel filter-02 Nos , SLO Bypass filters-02 Nos and Lub oil filters-04 Nos complete including rectification of minor defects, cleaning of air filters/ crankcase breather/Baffeltype breather & coolant tank with air blower, replacement of Engine oil & coolant and tuning of engine all as specified and directed. Location: NSRY [Notes: (i) Supply only Engine oil & Coolant shall be measured and paid separately. M&L for removing oil/ grease deposits, oil/ paint/ corrosion flakes and cleaning the external surface of 1250 KVA DG set of make: Cummins, along with acoustic enclosure using wire brushes, coarse cloth, cleaning agents etc. and applying two coats of heat retardant paint of approved tint by spray application complete including necessary T&P like spray gun, air compressor etc.complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for replacement of turbo blower intake air filter set complete (Primary & Secondary filters) for1250KVA DG set of of Make: Cummins, Model: KTA-50 G3 complete all as per manufacturer's recommendation.

Draininng up the fuel tank/Diesel tank in a separate empty barrels, disconnecting the fuel lines from the fuel filters and taking out the fuel tank and clearing internally and remove the accumulated sludge/Sediments and arresting leakages, reconnecting back all the removed fuel lines and mounting the diesel tank its orginal position, supply and replacing the drain plug suitable and including painting of external surfaces by using synthetic enamel paint of two coats over one coat of red oxide primer testing complete for 1250KVA KVA DG Sets capacity Diesel Tanks of DG sets.

Disconnecting/ dismantling 3 phase, 440 volts, 50 cycles exhaust fan electrical motor mounted at top of DG set from its location and shifting to work shop, opening the motor end cover, taking out rotor, taking out burnt stator winding, cleaning the stator and rewinding of motor with appropriate gauge, weight and turns of super enamelled copper winding wire using proper Garware insulating paper, insulating with Class I varnish, and oven drying for requisite insulation values, reassembling the motor completely and bringing back to its original location, greasing, fixing back in position, connecting back electrically and mechanically with proper alignment and testing complete all as specified and as directed for DG set of capacity 1250 KVA of make Cummins Model KTA-50-G3

Supply and connect and test lead acid battery heavy duty 12 volt 180 AH complete with initial charging complete all as specified. (Make : Exide/Amaron/Okaya Power Pvt Ltd)

M&L for repair of DG Set 1250 KVA of Cummins & Model No KTA-50 G3 by dismantling the sub-assemblies such as fuel pump, fuel injection, governor, turbo-charger, radiator, oil cooler, engine heads, rocker arms, self starter, dynamo-engine wiring, terminal contacts and safety controls etc., including replacement of spare parts as required and re-assembling the sub-assemblies after carrying out necessary repairs including testing and commissioning complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (a) Supply only spare parts required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of schedule 'A' (b) Repairs and calibration of sub-assemblies shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items of schedule 'A'.

Taking down old Silencer Exhaust pipe of any dia and length of existing make and model mouted at any height and ceaningwith cleaning agents, metal filling as per site requirement for 1250 KVA DG sets installed at 3.6MW Power house, refixing the same Silencer Exhaust pipe with necessary new nuts, bolts and washers including making good the disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make of DG Set: Cummins/Kirloskar/Perkins.

Taking down old exhaust fan motor and S&F new exhaust fan motor of existing make and model mouted at top of DG set as per site requirement for 1250 KVA DG sets installed at haddo station with necessary new nuts, bolts and washers including making good the disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make of DG Set: Cummins Model KTA-50-G3

M&L Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick,40mm bore medium grade (steel pipe) buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below GL) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal GI, connected to galvanised earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.5 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion. NOTES: 1) The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate cover 50mm thick reinforced with TMT bars 8mm dia @ 100mm c/c both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade, GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl. Supply and laying of 32 x 6 mm GI earth strip laid in ducts/floors/wall Complete by removing old corroded strip including taking down old unserviceable one all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of LT panels by cleaning/ rubbing with coarse cloth/ wire brushes to remove dust deposits, oil, grease and repainting by applying one spray coat of synthetic enamel paint without disturbing/ damaging the electrical net work system/ equipment including marking of details of capacity/ rating/ incoming/ outgoing in capital English alphabets of required size of letter with suitable coulor and Danger notice plate with radium stickering in RED coulor complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for fabrication/repair of LT panel door covers made out MS Sheet 3mm thick necessary folding jointing as suitable at site with existing panel board indoor/outdoor including necessary welding, hinges and supports including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel spray paint over a coat of redoxide primer complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Transport charges for electric/gas welding machine from workshop to site and back shall be included in the rate quoted.

Decarbonizing / cleaning complete LT panel boards/ pillar boxes of 415 / 380 / 230 Volts, 3 phase bus bar chamber with electrical connections complete, after removing the complete bus bar from the bus bar chamber, cleaning with CTC and ensure proper decarbonizing including new bakelite of adaquate size where ever required re-fixing the same after applying Becktrol (Red) solution to the spout, checking all the connections, tightening the nuts, bolts, thimbles for incoming and outgoing system complete including renewal of defective/ rusted bolts, nuts, insulators etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Servicing, Decarbonizing / cleaning complete ACB of any capacity, any make 415 Volts, 3 phase bus bar chamber with removing existing electrical connections complete, after removing the completeACB from the bus bar chamber, cleaning with CTC and ensure proper decarbonizing including new bakelite of adaquate size where ever required re-fixing the same after servicng, checking all the connections, tightening the nuts, bolts, thimbles for incoming and outgoing system complete including renewal of defective/ rusted bolts, nuts, insulators etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for fabrication/repair of LT panel/ feeder pillar box/ cope boxes broken door, chamber , enclosure,hinges, locking system made out MS Sheet , necessary folding jointing as suitable at site with existing panel board indoor/outdoor including necessary welding, hinges and supports including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel spray paint over a coat of redoxide primer complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Transport charges for electric/gas welding machine from workshop to site and back shall be included in the rate quoted.

S&F in repairs LED Indication Lamps 22.5mm dia R, Y, B 240 Volts DC/AC Neon type complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge. [Make: Kaycee/ Teknik/ L&T/ Vaishnov/ AE/Binay]

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of LT XLPE insulated, sheathed, armoured heavy duty electric aluminium conductor cable 1100 Volts grade of size 3½ core x 120sq.mm (laid in trenches, ducts, pole, wall etc.) including taking out old unserviceable LT cable from trenches/pole/ducts etc. complete all as specified and as as directed by engineer in charge. Note: (i) Necessary test results like continuity test, megger tests, shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge before the cable is laid. (ii) Excavation earth work will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for mild steel framed brackets of angles, tees, plates, heavy duty hinges for welding of cope boxes/LT Panel boards with web and flanges cut to shape, drilled and countersunk for screw including bending with necessary welding works for angles/hinges if necessary, gusset plates, riveting, brackets including of painting with two coats of synthetic enamel spray paint over a coat of redoxide primer including dismantling existing brackets complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Disconnecting and taking out existing old unserviceable copper bus bar of any size or shape and supply and fix new copper bus bar of suitable size and capacity to suit the existing requirement with proper insulators for mounting including reconnecting the electric cables complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Disconnecting and taking out existing old unserviceable aluminium bus bar of any size or shape and supply and fix new aluminium bus bar of suitable size and capacity to suit the existing requirement with proper insulators for mounting including reconnecting the electric cables complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and fixing coloured sleeves of different colour and size for busbar of any size and type including removing old sleeve all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping of pole including use & waste of necessary form work including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and as as directed by engineer in charge.

Cutting the existing road surface/PCC/ foot path (approx 50cm x 30cm) for laying of HT/LT cables including excavation of trenches, refurming filling, removal of soil in any type of soil, including making good for disturbed surfaces with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, use & waste of necessary form work including watering complete al as specified and directed.

S&F heat shrinkable sleeves suitable for 240Sqmm to 500Sqmm LT UG cable, 415V grade including disconnecting LT UG cable from Transformer/LT Panel/Feeder Pillar Box/Cope boxes and re-connection after completion complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for writing SM No./MES No. on plants and machinery/ Cope boxe No and feeding location with synthetic enamel paint/ stickering with letters of height 8cm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Disconnecting old unservieable / under rated LT UG cables of size 3.5 core 95 to 400 sqmm and draw out from the pipe or under grond or cable duct from power house to different feeders/ on Jetty/ at any other location including re-laying the same in trenches or on walls or in cable duct with necessary clamping where required all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, connect and testing for straight though joints for 1100volts grade of LT UG cables of size 3.5 core 120 to 150 sqmm including taking out old joint complete all as specified & directed.

All as per Item No. 60 above, but , for 3½ core 185 to 240 sq.mm

Material and Labour for lifting the RCC slab upto 300 mm thick, 2 to 4m long, 1 to 2m wide and about 2.5 to 4.0 ton in weight on jetty by cutting/chipping the clearance groove all around, keeping aside using a crane for laying of new LT cable/water pipe line including removing of all LT/HT cables for cleaning of cable duct and placing romoved H/T cables at the same location after carrying out repairs including making good the surface with PCC1:2:4 complete as directed. Note for item No.63: (a) Cost of T&P required for the work shall be included in the quoted rate. (b) Site will be availabile in a restricted manner and prior approval shall be obtained before commencement of work. (c) Contractor is liable for any damage caused to existing services or structures during the execution of work (d) Contractors are advised to visit the sites before quoting the rates.
