SCHEDULE A BOQ

M&L Water proofing treatment o existing roofs as per details given below after complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to outside the MOD land complete all as specified and as directed :-

(a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/ roof tiles on roof including removing debris to outside MOD land as directed.

(b) Bring upto the slope by providing filling of light weight materials such as cinder, light weight concrete etc as required & then providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates of average thickness of 50 mm.

(c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions.

(d) Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Remove all existing bitumen coatings completely by using intense wire brushing, high speed water jet & vacuum cleaner for thorough cleaning of the surface to avoid ‘Peeling off’ problems.

(e) All cracks at corner joints, channels and parapets should be properly treated. For filling cracks upto 3mm crack seal material of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical to be used. Bigger cracks, damaged portions & hollow areas must be repaired with polymer modified cement mortar.

(f) Apply a coat of self priming smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical with 33% dilution with water using brush/roller on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours (dilution & forced coverage requirement strictly as per manufacturer’s instructions).

(g) After the primed surface has dried, apply first coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same primed surface & allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours.

(h) Prepare for apply 2nd coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same surface. The temp to be maintained 25 to 35° C through out the all above application work.

(j) In case of severe dampness an additional coat of damp proof materials to be applied.

Note for item No 2 to 11 :- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the following manufacturers only. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work. Make : M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical

(ii) A performance guarantee certificate for 10 years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

(iii) The unit quoted rate is deemed to include taking down of water pipeline, tanks, wires (etc) found on roof and refix at the original position after complete treatment of roof.

(iv) The unit quoted rate shall be inclusive of material, all labours, tools and plants including scaffolding required for working upto approx 7.5 mtr height from natural ground level.

(v) The unit rate quoted for item is deemed to include for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.

(vi) Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like safety belts. ropes. helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working labour at height exceeding 3 to 25 mtr height shall be mandatary and deemed to be inclusive on quoted rates.

M&L Cleaning of air/dust blokages in the internal water supply lines concealed or fixed on the wall or floor surfaces by taking down carefully the fitting such as taps, valves, unions etc to facilitate/stimulate clearance of blockages/airlocks and re fixing the taking down items carefully after clearance of blockage/airlocks including fiiitngs etc complete all as specified and as directed

Taking down steel tubing 15mm bore and connections including cleaning and refixing of old GI tubing 15mm bore including connections in new or old position (wall, ceiling & floor). Note :- The unit rate is included for all required fittings for re-connection.

M&L in repairs 20 mm outer dia of pipes 3-layer PP-R (Polypropylene random copolymer) pipes concealed pipes SDR 7.4 (PN-16 @ 20°C) UV stablised and anti microbial fusion welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene random fittings, complete to walls, ceilings or in floors etc. all as specified and directed. Make : SFMC, Prince, KPT

Note for item No 20 :- (a) The unit rate shall be include for taking down existing GI pipe and connections and all fittings as directed.

(b) The unit rate shall be include the cost of short lengths, with all pipe fittings such as bends, tees, short pieces connectors, elbows, reducers, unions, sockets etc and fixing accssories such as pipe hooks, screws clamps etc.

(c ) Wall thickness of pipes shall be all as per IS : 15801

M&L 20mm outer dia of pipes PPR gate valves (brass insert) as per requirement of sites incl taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 52 & 53 :- (i) Vitrified tiles are classified under group B1a of the international Standard for ceramic tiles ISO: 13006. Tiles shall be hard, dense, impervious and frost resistant. Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. (ii) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate of Tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

M&L Hard core of broken/crushed stone aggregate of gauge n.exc 63 mm deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exc 15 cm thick, after removing existing, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size, polished confirming to IS-15658 of 60mm thickness M-35 grade, laid over and including M sand cushion of 50mm thick,and providing cement concrere 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates in kerbs or rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed. M&L Repair of leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ wash basin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor of bathroom or kitchen making good to the damage portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L Repair of leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damage soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damage portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and matching to existing wall complete to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work all as specified and as directed by the Engineer -in- charge

Note for item No 57 & 58 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case lakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as directed by the manufacturer's specification. Dismantling floor, floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises and Joint free Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile of size exc 0.09 Sqm but n exc 0.18 Sqm in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match incuding screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as directed.

Dismantling floor, floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises and Material and labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles 450 x 300 mm x 7/8 mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with tiles on vertical surface such as dado skirting including 10mm thick 1:3 backing coat complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 71 & 72 :- The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate of Tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil all as directed.

M&L PCC in foundation filling and mass concrete type D-2, 1:4:8, using 40mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cement concrete type C-1, 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation of fencing post, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc complete using ERW or induction butt,welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 grade ST-240 including dismantling of existing steel complete all as specified.

S&F Pre painted Coloured Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing roof sheet complete all as directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing roof sheet complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing :-

(i) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

(ii) The contractor shall ensured that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Total coated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides.

(iii) The painting shall be coloured baked enamel polyester with silicon coating of film thickness 25 microns nominal on the exposed face/exterior side and on the reverse side ( interior face) shall be white with 15 microns film thickness, over a coat of 5 micron nominal thickness Primer.

S&F Framed brackets of angles or teeswith web and flanges cutshape, drilled and countersunk for screw, including bending and welding angles, as necessary,gusset plates, riveting, etc.. n exc 10 kg each brackets, conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-16(Bracketsover 10 kg each to be measured under 'Structural Steel') including dismantling of existing steel complete all as specified

S&F Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with riveted , bolted or welded attachment.(Fe 410 -W (Gde- E-250) quality -A including dismantling of existing complete steel all as specified

Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nuts, n exc 5cm long diameter of neck 5 to 10mm including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Preparation of new steel surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces under 10 cm girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of of red oxide primer.

Note for item No 88 & 89 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, plastic emulsion paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L 100mm thick, plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates), as in plinth protection/path/hardstanding including making joints @ 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness and rubbish material shall be disposed off out side MD land complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The concrete shall be laid at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm.

M&L Doom grating 125mm dia with waste hole of PTMT(minimum weight 40gms) Including taking down existing one complete all as specified and as directed by Engneer-in-Charge.
