Disconnecting, dismantling and strip opening of the existing air handling unit of any description and in any position and of capacity up to 10000 CFM for overhauling and servicing including taking out existing shaft, blower, drum, pulley and dehumidifier pump etc. of air handling unit, checking thoroughly the serviceability of the parts, dismantling the parts, fixing the serviceable parts in position, replacement of the defective/non-functional /unserviceable parts /spares, reassembling, commissioning, fixing in position and testing of the air handling unit on full load for its smooth and trouble free operation complete all as specified and directed . Note :- (i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A’ as `supply only. (ii) Remetaling & grinding of the crank shaft, wherever applicable shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'. (iii) Rates quoted by the contractor shall include the cost of transportation of any part of the AHU unit to and from approved workshop for their repair and alignment.

Supply only the following spares / parts suitable for Air handling units repaired under respective Sch ‘A’/BOQ Sl. item No. 1.00 to 3.00 for servicing / overhauling of AHU complete all as specified and directed. (a) Pedestal bearing no NTN 207 J (Japan) or equivalent of make SKF /NBC

(b) Pedestal bearing no NTN 211 J (Japan) or equivalent of make SKF/NBC

(c) Mild steel shaft pulley 8” dia, B section, double groove inner bore 32mm with suitable slot for key complete all as specified and directed

(d) Mild steel shaft pulley 8” dia, B section, three groove inner bore 25mm with suitable slot for key complete all as specified and directed

(e) Mild steel shaft pulley 4” dia, B section, double groove inner bore 25mm with suitable slot for key complete all as specified and directed

(f) Cast copper alloy gate valve 25mm nominal bore, screwed down high pressure, with crutch or butter fly handlecomplete all as specified and directed Make : Sant/Zoloto/Leader/BIR Note:-(i) Cost element for removing unserviceable parts, fixing and testing of the new items/ parts is deemed to be included in the respective rates quoted by the contractor under respective Sch ‘A’ item No. 1.00 to 3.00 (ii) Contractor shall have no claim on account of variation of quantities of these items/non execution of any of the above items and contractor shall be paid for as per quoted rates only for the parts actually replaced.

Dismantling and taking down existing fire dampers of any description and in any position and material and labour for supplying and fixing new fire damper, cubical movable louvers, operating mechanism, including its frame shall be fabricated and made to shape and size with using 20 gauge MS sheet and flat iron of suitable cross section all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix in replacement of the following filters suitable for Air handling units of air conditioning plants complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Make : Dyna, Tenacity, Airtech, Puromatic, Thermodyne, Spetam or equivalent make as approved by the GE) (a) Micro ‘V’ air filter nylon/fabric fibre, media of capacity 5 micron, 98% efficiency of size 610mm x 610mm x 305mm deep.

(b) --ditto – but of size 610mm x 305mm x 305mm deep

(c) Pre-air metallic air filter of 10 micron, 90% efficiency with GI sheet frame of size 600mm x 400mm x 48mm deep

(d) --ditto – but of size 500mm x 400mm x 48mm deep

(e) --ditto—but of size 610mm x 305mm x 50mm deep

(f) --ditto—but of size 610mm x 610mm x 50mm deep

(g) --ditto—but of size 610mm x 450mm x 45mm deep

Disconnecting and taking out existing unserviceable strip heater of any description and in any position complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fixing strip heater of 2 KW, 230 volts fin type complete all as specified & directed. Make : Daspas or equivalent make as approved by the GE.

Supply and fixing strip heater 3 KW, 230 volts fin type complete all as specified & directed. Make : Daspas or equivalent make as approved by the GE

M&L for insulation of pipe with using insulation synthetic PVC insulation sheet 19 mm thick including applying PVC adhesive tape on joints complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting old unserviceable canvas and fixing with new canvas as per existing at site with inspection strip etc complete as specified and directed.

Disconnecting, dismantling & taking up/down AC electric motors of any description and in any position from existing foundation of compressor/blowers/pumps/ cooling tower strip opening and dismantling of motor for servicing /overhauling, cleaning oiling/greasing and fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, reassembling motors, ensuring proper alignment of the motor with existing compressor / pumps/blower/cooling tower, fixing in position connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacities :- (a) 1 HP to 5 HP 1 Phase/3 Phase 50 Hz

(b) 7.5 HP to 12.5 HP Three phase 50 Hz

(c) 15 HP to 20 HP Three phase 50 Hz

(d) 60 HP Three phase 50 Hz

Disconnecting, dismantling & taking up/down pump set and monoblock pump sets of AC plant of any description and in any position from existing foundation, strip opening and dismantling of Pumps for servicing/overhauling, cleaning oiling/ greasing and fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, reassembling the pumps ensuring proper alignment of pump, fixing in position connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacities :- (a) 0.5 HP to 3 HP single phase 50 Hz

(b) 5.0 HP HP Three phase 50 Hz

(c) 7.5 HP HP Three phase 50 Hz

(d) 10 HP to 12.5 HP Three phase 50 Hz

(e) 15 HP to 20 HP Three phase 50 Hz Notes for Schedule `A' item No 13.01 to 13.04 & 14.01 to 14.05 :- (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing charges for new items are deemed to be included under respective item No 13.01 to 13.04 & 14.01 to 14.05 (ii) Burnt out windings replaced, shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’/BOQ for rewinding. (iii) The rates for above items are deemed to include for transportation to & from of pumps/ motors to workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at workshop & replacement of necessary unserviceable screws/nuts/bots/washers/ packing etc with new one (iv) Re-metaling of side cover of motor and machinery, polishing for housing of bearing all as required at site for smooth and noiseless movement of rotor impeller shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A’/BOQ. (v) Re-metaling to pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making to standard size to match with GM Bushes / Neck ring shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch`A’/BOQ.

Taking out & removing old burnt out windings and rewinding of electric motors of following sizes with existing size copper super enameled wire including insulating material such as illuminous paper, Leatherized paper, cotton tape, glass sleeving, insulating varnish etc testing for the following capacities covered vide item 8 and 9 :- NOTE : Cost for taking down of motor, its servicing & overhauling, fixing on foundation in position, connecting and testing is deemed to be included in the respective item No 13.01 to 13.04 and 14.01 to 14.05 of Schedule `A/BOQ' herein before. (a) 0.5 HP to 1.5 HP single phase 50 Hz

(b) 2.0 HP to 3.0 HP Three phase 50 Hz

Disconnecting and taking down existing unserviceable condenser & supply and fixing new condenser, 10 mfd, 400 volt grade suitable for single phase motor complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down/removing of damaged fan blades of any description and in any position from electric motors all as directed and Supply and fixing Fan blades fabricated to shape and size of Zink Aluminum cast alloy as per sample for electric motor with key and key grove complete all as directed for the following capacity motors :- (a) 5 HP to 7.5 HP
