b. Reinforcement steel of Grade Fe 500 conforming to IS 1786 TMT BARS shall be supplied from M/s. SAIL or M/s. TATA STEEL or M/s. Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd., from their own plants rolled from virgin material and not from their rerollers or conversion agents.

c. The contractor shall supply copy of Documentary evidence of purchase of steel, test certificate from the firms and also testing from third party if required to be arranged at no extra cost.

Structural steel work at all levels including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding, erecting and fixing in position, including painting with a primary coat of approved steel primer.

Note: 1. Structural steel conforming to IS: 2062 2. Labour charges only for fabricating structural steel work including plates at all levels including material transportation to site of work from Deptt. Stores, cutting to required size, fabricating including welding as required, erecting in position cost of electrodes of approved make, gas, necessary scaffolding, painting with a coat of approved steel primer etc. complete.

Labour charges only for fixing 0.50 mm TCT color coated galvalume (Color Star Profile) sheets in roof, facia including all overlaps, ridges, mitring, including supplying and fixing 'J' hooks, bolts, nuts and washers as per standard specifications and code of practice and cutting the sheets as required including the cost of scaffolding, work at all heights etc. complete.

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using Structural steel M.S. plain & chequered plates at all levels including welding, painting with a primary coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and preferred make as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)

Brick masonry in cement mortar 1:6 using table moulded chimney bricks having a compressive strength not less than 40kg/cm² in foundations and plinth upto FFL including curing, racking out joints above ground level and simultaneous flush pointing below ground level etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Brick work in cement mortar 1:6 using table moulded chimney bricks having a compressive strength not less than 40kg/cm² in superstructure at all levels including double scaffolding, raking out joints, curing etc. complete as per specifications,

Half Brick masonry using table moulded chimney bricks having a compressive strength not less than 40kg/cm² in C.M. 1:4 at all levels, including curing, raking out joints etc. complete as supports to kitchen platform, shelves, cupboards, flower beds etc. complete.

Filling under floors with approved quality murrum brought from inside borrow pits including cost of excavation transporting, spreading in 200mm thick layers, watering and consolidation with 1/2 tone wooden/steel rammers to 150mm thickness and finishing to the desired levels with all leads and lifts etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of Granular sub base by providing coarse graded material as per grading, spreading in uniform layers on the prepared surface, mixing at optimum moisture content and compacting with vibratory roller/mechanical earth rammer to achieve the desired density complete.

Providing pre-construction anti-termite treatment (with chloropyrifos 1% concentration) generally as per IS 6313 (Part-II)-1981 guaranteed for ten years complete. The treatment shall comprise of following stages :-

a). Treatment around foundation, footing & columns :- Soil poisoning from the depth of 500mm below ground level around RCC/Brick foundations, columns, plinth beams, walls, etc. with chloropyrifos (1% concentration) @ 7.50 litres per sq.m. of vertical surface including rodding the earth at 150mm centre to centre close to the column/ beams/walls surfaces, spraying the chemicals so as to soak the soil right to the bottom complete including tamping back the soil into place after this operation.

b). Treatment around internal/external walls or plinth beams :- Soil poisoning from the ground level upto the level of filled up earth surface around junction of internal/external wall and floor with chloropyrifos (1% concentration) @ 7.50 litres/m². of vertical surface so as to establish continuity of the vertical chemical barrier on inner wall surfaces from ground level including making a small channel of size 30mm x 30mm, rodding the channel at 150mm centre to centre to pour the chemical, spraying the chemicals so as to soak the soil right to the bottom complete including tamping back the soil into place after this operation.

c). Treatment of soil below sub grade of floor :- Soil poisoning of the top surface of the filled earth within plinth wall with chloropyrifos @ 5.00 litres/m². of the surface including making hole 50 to 75 mm deep at 150mm centre to centre both ways.

d). Treatment of soil along external perimeter of building :- Soil poisoning along external perimeter of the building including making holes with iron rods, 300mm deep @ 150mm intervals filling these holes with chloropyrifos @ 7.50 litres/m². of the perimeter walls. In the event of filling being more than 300mm, the external perimeter treatment shall extend to the full depth of filling upto the ground level so as to ensure continuity of the chemical barrier.

Note: The amount @ 10% of security deposit deducted from the item shall be withheld by the department for a period of 10 years from the date of completion (as per service guarantee).

Cement plastering for internal walls/ceiling with cement mortar 1:4 finished smooth including hacking of concrete surfaces, double scaffolding, curing etc. complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cement plastering to external surfaces of walls at all heights, 20 mm thick in two coats, with cement mortar 1:4 over brick walls or concrete surfaces, and addition of water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement including finishing rough (wooden float finish), double scaffolding, hacking of concrete surfaces, curing, making grooves if necessary etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Sand faced plaster 20mm thick in 2 coats over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces for all heights with base coat in cement mortar 1:4, 12mm thick and finishing coat in cement mortar 1:3, 8mm thick including final rendering, double scaffolding, hacking of concrete surfaces, curing, making grooves etc. complete and addition of water proofing compound @ 2% of weight of cement for the base coat & final coat respectively etc. complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing cement based water proofing treatment of new terraces, chajjas and water gutter etc. cleaning the concrete surfaces, giving injections to the top slab as required with cement and approved water proofing compound solution to fill up all inherent holes, voids honeycombs etc. in the concrete slab, setting brick bat coba in waterproof mortar 1:3 with necessary gradient for easy flow of water and continue the treatment along the inner faces of parapet or other adjoining wall upto a height of 300mm in the shape of vatas finally treating the top surface and vatas, with waterproof plaster with cement mortor 1:3 and finished smooth with geru finish, finished with false marking of 300 mm squares. The treatment shall be tested by ponding water for a period of 10 days etc. complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note :- 1). If due to location of rainwater pipes, the thickness of treatment exceeds 110mm, for easy flow of water provision is to be made of extra brick bat coba in cum. as under relevant item.

2). The waterproofing treatment is to be Guaranteed for bone dry condition for a period of 10 YEARS

3). The measurement for payment shall be the entire area of terrace/chajjas covered by the treatment measured between brick/concrete parapets without plaster and the area of vatas calculated by taking the length of vatas and the height above the finished level of the terrace/chajjas. 4). The amount @ 10% of the item shall be withheld by the department for a period of 10 years from the date of completion.

Providing and fixing in position anodized (min of grade AC 5) aluminum louvered ventilators using aluminum alloys extruded section as per approved make confirming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285. Providing and fixing factory made 30 mm thick pre laminated PVC door shutter (conforming to IS: 4020) with PVC door Frame (Choukhat) of preferred make consisting of followings :

1.
