Excavation in earth work in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side,water pollution, etcetra and to protect stability of hill side track shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). all earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried,out true tolines,grades,side slopes, width, camber super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge,in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, Augest, 2004 and clause 16.2 of General conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal and dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner,trimming,filling of unevenness,blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer -in -Charge for smooth riding. The recovery useful stones,that is 817.54 cum(eight hundred seventeen and poit fifty four only cubic metre) in all cases,@ rupees 170/- only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro- rata basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in soil in Hilly Area by manual means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with in all leads and lifts as per drawing and Techical Specification Clause 1603.1 and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of transportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls,breast walls,culverts,drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil,ordinary rock,hard rocks,chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing and MORD technical specification Clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out,construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm(one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and baling out water (surface and sub soil water)upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentials.

Providing and laying concrete 1:6:12 (One cement: six sand : twelve graded crushed stone aggregate) 40 mm (forty millimetre) nominal size for plain reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge . the rate include octroi, royality malkana, toll tax of any taxes including GST imposed by the Govt.

Providing and Laying concrete concrete 1:4:8 (1cement: 4 sand: 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 including all leads and lifts, as per HPPWD, specification of 1990 volume-I or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.The rate include octroi, royality malkana, toll tax or any taxes including GST imposed by the Govt.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete Grade M-10 nominal Mix 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 sand: 6 stone aggregate 20mm ) for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing & technical specifications per clauses 802, 803 ,1202,1203) and as per the direction of Engineer in Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rate include octroi, royality malkana, toll tax or any taxes including GST imposed by the Govt.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete mechanicaly mixed and vibrated PCC M-15 nominal mix1:2.5:5{(one cement:two and half sand:five graded hard stone aggregate 20mm nominal size for plain concrete in foundation and pliths or similar works comlete as per draawing and technical classification for rural roads August 2004 clause 808,803,1202 and 1203.The rate include octroi, royality malkana, toll tax or any taxes including GST imposed by the Govt.

Providing and laying mechanical mixed and vibrated cement concrete for plain/reinforcement concrete in open foundation for all type of structure complete of plain cement concrete nominal mix1:5:10(one cement:five sand:ten graded crushed stone aggregate)40 mm nominal size on ground or under water and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water complete for all heights/depths including the cost of form work as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and oher incidentials.The rate include octroi, royality malkana, toll tax or any taxes including GST imposed by the Govt.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm dia.GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826in 100mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 percent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg each as per drawing and technical specifications clause1301. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in chargeThe rate include octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax or any taxes including GST imposed by the Govt.

Constuction of un-reinforced,dowel jointed,plain cement concrete pavement over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement @ 400KG/cum,coarse and fine aggregate cnfirming to IS 383,maximum, size of caurse aggregate not exceeding 25mm,mixed in abatching and mixing plant as per approved mix design,transportation to site,laid with a fixed form or slips form paver,spred,compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision of contraction,expation,consturction and lognitudinal joints,joint filler,sepration membrane,sealant primer,joint sealant,deponding strip,dowwl bar,tie, tie rod,and admixture as per approved curing compoubd,finishing to lines and grades as per drawing.The rate include octroi, royality,malkana, toll tax or any taxes including GST imposed by the Govt.

Loosening of ground up to a level 300 mmbelow the subgrade level, waterd,graded and compacted in layrs to meet requirment of tabler300.1 and 300.2 for subgrade consteruction as per Technical specification clause 303.5.2.

Preparation of sub –grade by dressing to camber. (Earth work in cutting involved to be measured & paid for separately) depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD specificationand as per the direction of Engineer in Chargewith in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rate include octroi, royality malkana, toll tax or any taxes including GST imposed by the Govt.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty to hundred) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 2 (two) as per Technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of material in all leads and lifts as per enitre specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning the road surface with hydralic broom and spraying primer at therate 0.85kg (zero point eight five kilogramme) per square metre using mechnical means as per MORD technical specifictions Clause 502 by mechanical means and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of trasportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentials.The rate includs octroi royality, Malkana ,Tol tax ,sale tax or any other taxes imposed by the Goverment.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg (zero point two seven five kilogramme) per square metre on the prepared granular surface and cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per MORD technical specification clause 503 by mechanical means as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of trasportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentials.The rate includs octroi royality, Malkana ,Tol tax ,sale tax or any other taxes imposed by the Goverment.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm (twenty millimetre) compacted thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm (thrirteen point two millimetre to five point six millimetre ) course stone aggregates at the rate 0.27 cum. ( zero point two seven)cubic metre mixed with 14.6kg ( fourteen point six )kilogramme per 10 Square metre( ten) bitumen VG-10 (viscosting grade- ten) to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing and heating binder and aggeregate in a suitable hotmix plant 30/40 (thirty obliq forty)tonne per hour capacity transporting mixed material and laying with paver finisher and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty to hundred) capacity static road roller finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type B as per MORD technical specification clause 508.2 by mechanical means and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of trasportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentials.The rate includs octroi royality, Malkana ,Tol tax ,sale tax or any other taxes imposed by the Goverment.

Providing and laying seal coat for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross falls using Type B as per MORD technical specification clause 510 using VG-10 (viscosting grade -ten) at the rate 6.8 kg. ( six point eight kilogramme) premixed with 0.06(zero point zero six) cubic metre of fine aggregate per 10 (ten) sqaure metre by mechnical means and rolling with power road roller 8-10 (eight to ten )tonne capacity and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of trasportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentials.The rate includs octroi royality, Malkana ,Tol tax ,sale tax or any other taxes imposed by the Goverment.
