REPAIR AND MAINT OF EARTHING, DUCTING, COOLING TOWERS, COMPRESSORS AND CONNECTED ITEMS AND OTHER REPAIR WORKS OF CENTRAL AC PLANT AT MH AND SSA UNDER GE JAIPUR

M&L earthing complete as per electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 mmx600mmx6mm, buried directly vertically in ground in a pit depth not less than 2.25 metres below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to and including galvanised iron or steel earth strip 32mm x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel. Earthing strip shall be protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 40 mm bore light grade and connected to continuous earth wire on pole / test point. Watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore GI medium grade. The earthing shall be of inclusive of excavation & earth work in any type of soil, charcoal, salt, funnel PCC pit and RCC cover complete all as specified & tested complete. NOTE:- (i) The concrete pit shall be made in PCC 1:2:4 type B-O, using 12.50 mm graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm thick precast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate with suitable MS handle in lieu of CI cover. Reinforcement in cover shall be of 8mm dia TMT bars laid @150mm c/c both ways. (ii) Quoted shall include the cost of 7.5 metre GI pipe for protection of earth wire. (iii) Quoted shall include cost of 7.5 metre earth lead wire. (iv) Earth electrode shall be surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides.

Supply only electrical insulating mat made of elastomeric polymers of size 1.0 m x 2.0 m x 2.0 mm, class 'A' in blue colour confirming to IS : 15652 of 2006 as approved etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & laying in replacement LT cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanized steel strips or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade ISI marked, laid in trenches/under road/floor or on wall complete all as specified and directed of following size of cable:-

(a) 240 Sqmm, 3.5 core cable

(b) 185 Sqmm, 3.5 core cable

(c) 120 Sqmm, 3.5 core cable

(d) 35 Sqmm, 4 core cable

M&L for dismantling of old ducting of any type and shape including all accessories viz. Corner, Cleat, Carriage bolt, Gasket etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply , assembly and erection of GI sheet with C & SS rectangular/square duct made out of 'L' shaped hollow profile, duly factory boxed, incl all accessories such as Corner, Cleat, Carriage bolt, Gasket and appropriate sealant on longitudinal joints etc complete of size 24 Gauge etc. and including providing duct insulation with resin bonded fibre glass wool roll of density 24 kg/Cum, with factory laminated aluminium vapour barrier, thickness of insulation with including following:- (a) M&L for cleaning the duct surface (to be insulated ) by scrapping carefully with wire brush etc. to make the surface completely free of millscale, dirt, dust, grease and other foreign materials, taking special care so that all duct joints are sealed against any leakage. (b) M&L for applying rubber based adhesive CPRX compound. (c) M & L for securing the insulation with and including mechanically fastened nylon/ steel straps of size 12 mm/50 mm at maximum intervals of 1.2 mtr. (d) M&L for sealing of all longitudinal joints and circular overlaps with and including Aluminium fol tape 50 m wide to make the insulation leak proof. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Painting of 80TR central air conditioning plant equipments comprises of Chiller, Compressor, Motors, Pumps, LT Panel refrigerant/water suction line, discharge lines of any specification with synthetic enamel paint of approved quality after preprations of surface including conceled fitments e.g., condenser, chiller, valves etc as per IS colour code of Central air conditioning plants including writing MES / SM No etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cleaning of condenser of 80 TR Central AC plant by suitable chemical circulation and brushing of condenser tubes as required etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Servicing of AHU's cleaning cooling coils by non acidic chemical, cleaning of filters by suitable tools as required etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for renewal of unserviceable mechanical oil seal of compressor at coupling end including testing and commissioning etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Gas/Oil required to be changed after renewal of mechanical oil seal will be measured and paid separately in respective items of BOQ.

M&L for Dismantling, opening, rewinding and refixing of, 3 phase, 440V, 50 Hz induction motors capacity 3 to 7.5 HP with super enameled copper wire of existing gauge and existing class insulation including superior quality varnishing, heating / drying coils, making connections from coil to terminal box, spray painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint, necessary mechanical works for shaft/bearing housing , renewal of DE and NDE bearings, transportation from installation to workshop & back including connecting testing and commissioning at site for satisfactorily operation as required etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for overhauling of complete of 80 TR capacity chiller unit of Voltas make complete with replacement of worn out /unserviceable parts including piston, piston rings, connecting rod, connecting rod bearings, gudgeon pin, head spring, compressor bearing, crank shaft, oil seal, oil ring, oil plate, compressor cylinder, load/unload assembly, oil pressure valve, suction reed, discharge reed, oil pump, gasket, oil filter, fan belt, temperature meter, pressure meter, LP switch, HP switch, oil failure switch, oil pressure switch, temp sensor, gas sensor, drayer, solenoid coil, chiller main controller circuit, coupling etc. and reassembling the same after complete repair and replacement of parts with accessories as nut, bolts, washers etc. , installation on existing foundation, coupling with existing electrical motor with proper alignment including testing, commissioning etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Servicing & Repairing work of chiller unit to be done by the authorised representative of OEM. All spares parts mentioned in above description as required for repair /servicing shall be deemed to be quoted in this item only.
