PROVISION OF 04 X AMN SHED

Provn of 04 x Amn Shed for 2 (I) Armd Bde. Scope of Work :- : The work consists of manufacture and supply of pre fabricated Amn Shed of over all size of 16000 x 6000mm with lightning conductor as per Sketch 'P' & Sketch 'Q' of RFP. The manufacturer shall supply detailed list of components that go to complete the making of the Shed as per RFP. The clear height of the Shed willl be 4.32m from floor finished level. All parts required for the manufacture of Shed shall be new and shall comply to relevant Bureau of Indian Standard specification and bear the mark as mentioned in RFP. All fabricated materials for purlin, truss, door and ventilator frames will be ISI mark with good finish and material of standard size. A ramp of slope 1:4 as shown as the sketch 'P' will be provided in front of the Shed. Minor addition/ alteration changes will be at the direction of Engineer executive of 421 (I) Engr Sqn and will be carried out without any additional cost at the time of execution. Shed shall be designed to cater for the following conditions :- (a) Sesmic co-efficient as per cesmis Zone V (b) Wind Load - Equivalent wind speed of 55 mtr per sec (IS-87) (c) Roof slope-30 Constr Material for 01 x Amn Shed :- (i) Ventilators as per RFP - 10 Nos (Make : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL) (ii) Doors as per RFP - 04 Nos (Make : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL) (iii) Truss as per RFP - 06 Nos (Make : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL) (iv) Purlin as per RFP - 54 Nos (Make : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL) (v) Main column as per RFP - 14 Nos (Make : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL) (vi) Column/lateral ties 04 Nos x 3.20 mtr long column RHS (Rectangular hollow section) of size 90x38x3.5 mm - 1560 Kgs (Make : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL) (vii) Wall cladding made of PPGI sheet as per RFP - 70 Nos (Make : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL) (viii) Roofing made of PPGI sheet as dper RFP - 53 Nos (Make : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL) (ix) PPGI sheet as per RFP for ridge coveer and gable end cover - 06 Nos (Make : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL)

LIGHTNING CONDUCTOR. Lightning conductor shall be provided with aluminium rod of 12 mm dia 300 mm long. Aluminum down conductor (25 mm x 3 mm x 6m) GI earth plate of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm CI Cover with frame (300mm x 300mm x 6mm), GI pipe light grade (20 mm dia x 1.3mm) long 3 mm perforations upto a length of 60 mm with MS funnel, GI strip, (32 mm x 6 mm x 4) GI pipe light grade 40 mm x 6mm, with base plate (300mm x 300mm x 8mm) and specials socked and plug 40 mm Clamps (20 mm x 3 mm) suitable for 40 mm dia pipe -06 Nos, bolts and nuts (6mm dia x 30mm) - 04 Nos Charcoal dust 50 kgs, Salt 50 kgs complete all as per IS 2309-1969.

Foundation, Flooring and Plinth Protection

Common building brick sub class 'B' of size 23cm x 11.5 cm conforming to IS 1077-1986. Average compressive strength not less than 15 N/mm2

Stone aggregate shall be crushed stone 40mm graded conforming to IS-383 - 1970 and shall be clean hard tough, durable and of uniform quality throughout. The aggregate shall be free from soft disintegrated materials, vegetable and other organic impurities.

Ordinary Portland Cement grade 43, IS-12269-1990, packed in 50 kgs HDPE bags conforming to ISI 1652/2000. Make : ACC/Ambuja/JK Cement or Equivalent.

Expanded metal, cut to length, bend to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9 mm dia or fixing with galvanized steel staples supplied and fix complete to steel members weight not less than 4 Kg per Sqm.

Flat Iron 40 x 5mm

Coarse Sand Sand shall be clean, sharp,angular hard and durable free from adherent coating and shall not contain clay, mica and other inpurities. The maximum quantities of clay and fine silt in sand shall not be more than 5% by mass as per IS-383-1970.

Water proofing compound confirming to IS-2645-1975, ISI marked, Make : Pidilite or Equivalent.

Fire extnguisher 02 kgs capacity, ABC type MAP-90 alongwith its accessories confiming to IS 13849 (Make: Minimax, Firex, Ceasefire, ABB or Equivalent)

Wooden Planks 6' x 2' x 1" good quality & Sample to be approved by consignee.

Foundation Bolt 100 mm long made out of 12mm dia bar with two Nos washer.

Nut & Bolts 10mm dia 75mm long with washer for fixing together purlins and truss

Self taping screw 2.5" long 8mm dia
