Rejuvenation / Re-development of mark-II hand pumps by way of re-development of 125mm dia. bore holes with Departmental Rig Machine NR-50 and replacement of accessories of hand pumps if required in various constituencies of Samba and Kathua District

A) Labour for Compressor/Rig Machine NR-50 Providing of skilled / unskilled labourers for carrying out Re-development of 125mm dia bore hole with departmental Rig Machine/Compressor NR-50. The Job includes making space for deployment of Rig Machine NR-50 / compressor, lowering of air line during the process of re- development of bore hole and extraction thereof after complete re-development. Carriage of accessories, tools and tackles to site of work. (POL to be provided by department for redevelopment with Departmental Rig Machine alongwith shifting of Compressor to site of work). Labour is to be provided till the completion of the job i.e. till clearing of water from all impurities / potable water is obtained from the bore hole. (complete job)

B) Labour for Extraction/Lowering of Mark-II Hand Pump i) Providing of skilled / unskilled labour for dismantling of India Mark-II hand pump and extraction of riser pipes, connecting rods and cylinder using special tools and tackles. (complete job)

ii) Lowering of hand pump assembly complete after conducting repair/replacement to Mark-II hand pump (if required) / checking of all the joints/ends of riser pipes, sockets, plunger rods etc. and testing of hand pump. (complete job)

C) Replacement of accessories of Mark-II hand pumps (if required) i) Cutting of damaged ends of G.I. Riser Pipes, finishing and rethreading at site

ii) Providing and fitting of 32 mm G.I. Socket

iii) Providing and fitting of hand pump cylinder Mark-II 32 mm dia. at site

iv) Providing and fitting of hand pump cylinder Mark-II 32 mm dia. at site

v) Providing and fitting of S.S Axle

vi) Providing and fitting of G. I. Riser Pipes 32 mm dia. (3 mts length) at site

vii) Providing and fitting of connecting rod 3 mtrs length for 32 mm dia. hand pump

viii) Providing and fitting of ball bearing 6204 at site

ix) Providing and fitting of lower valve assembly/ check valve

x) Providing and fitting of upper valve assembly/ plunger valve

xi) Providing and fitting rubber seat for lower valve / sealing ring

xii) Providing and fitting of rubber seat for upper valve / sealing ring

xiii) Providing and fitting of Chain with coupling
