REPAIR/ RESURFACING OF ROADS IN DOMESTIC AREA AT AF STN SURATGARH

M&L for Repair to pot holes exceeding 30mm not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in road, paths etc; cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm (using paving bitumen of grade VG-10) putting in premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade VG-30) sealed 9.8 kg per/10sqm blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping),complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning with mechanical compressor the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and Applying evenly a priming/ tack coat @ 5 Kg. Per 10 Sqm using bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS-8887 with mechanical sprayer ,operated by cold pressure mechanism ,complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premix bitunimuous macadam from hot mix plant with 4 % binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking good for road marking with reflective thermoplastic white road marking paint confirming to BS 3262-1989 laid through road marking machine in layer of CRYSTALX (using 5 kg per sqm by incorpting 8 % white glass beads for reflectivity) and 2.0mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc as per IRC pattern laid at temperature 60 degree centigrade including necessary traffic diversion arrangement, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F speed bump 350mmx250mmx50mm height made of sturdy plastic, pre-coloured (Black/yellow) and UV stabilisers studded with reflectors on either side and installing by cleaning the surface, grouting the holes and applying epoxy adhesive on the road surface and bumps, placing the bumps on the fixing area and hammer the nails provided with the bump, including removal of existing damaged bumps of any description, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair convex mirror 1000mm dia having clear and definitive mirror image with 130 degree of viewing angle, provided with and including 50x50x4mm mild steel pipe square tube post of length 1.75m and embedded in post holes (size 450x450x600mm) in PCC 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) with necessary bolts, nuts, base plate etc. and welding as required for fixing including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing informatory Sign board of size 1200 mm x 900 mm made of aluminium sheet 2 mm thick with stainless steel rectangular frame using 25 x 15 mm rectangular pipe with 35 mm dia stainless pipe in outer border all around retro reflective high intensity 400 micron thick blue/yellow colour sheet pasted with heating process on both besides of the board including 75 mm to 100 mm high black colour letters cut to shape with special plotter and in proper manner indicating Shed No as directed by Engr in charge .02 Nos 75 mm dia stainless steel pipes of 304 grade glossy finish with MS plate 3 mm thick welded at bottom of pipes shall be provided the board shall be fixed at height of 3.0 mm (top level of board) above GL and shall be embedded in ground using PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of min size 300mmx300mmx600mm including necessary from work.excavartion and earthwork complete all as specified and directed.
