Approaoch Road Work

Construction of Embankment with Material obtained from Borrowpits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2. (Reference of Sr. No 3.16 MORTH Specification 305)

CTSB Providing, laying and spreading Material on a prepared sub grade, adding the designed quantity of cement to the spread Material, mixing in place with rotavator, grading with the motor grader and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of sub-base/base. (Reference of Sr. No 4.7 MORTH Specification 403i)

Open - Graded Premix Surfacing Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or cut-back or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades. Case - II: Open-Graded Premix Surfacing using cationic Bitumen Emulsion (Reference of Sr. No 5.7 MORTH Specification 510)

Seal Coat - Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A and B seal coats (Reference of Sr. No 5.9 MORTH Specification 511ii)

Tack Coat Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom. (Reference of Sr. No 5.2 MORTH Specification 503 i)

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. (Reference of Sr. No 8.13 MORTH Specification 803)

Protection Work

Excavation of foundation in ordinary soil (loamclay or sand) including lift upto 1.50 meter and lead up to 30 meter and including filling watering and ramming of excavated earth into the trenchess or into the space between the building and sides of foundation trenches or int ot the plinth and removal and diposal of surplus earth as directed by the engineer in charge up to a distance of 30 meters from the foundation trenches as per Sl. No. 251 (as per SOR Sl. No 251)
