REPAIR AND MAINT OF BED HARD, CHARPOY MS TUBULAR, CHARPOY IP FOLDING, CHARPOY GI PIPE WITH CONNECTED WORKS AT GE ALWAR

M&L removing existing unserviceable part of Charpoy GI pipe ply top similar pattern and S&F new part as per drawing No FD-220 for the followings :-

Removing existing unserviceable 12mm thick ply top/ MDF board top from Charpoy GI pipe, tightening complete charpoy (i.e. loose check nuts, elbows, long rails & short rails) and S&F new plywood top 12mm thick, ply commercial type, ISI marked, BWR grade of size 1980mm x 900mm on top (The ply shall be provided in a single piece for each charpoy) with 12 Nos galvanised iron nuts and bolts 6mm dia and 70mm long including sufficent numbers of GI washers of suitable size/ thickness on top to maintain the plywood top in levelled position and one GI (heavy duty) washer on underside before tightening the nuts including embossing 'MES' with paint on all four corners of plywood top complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The size of plywood top viz 1980mm x 900mm shall be firm. No tolerance in size of plywood top shall be accepted. The plywood shall be provided in single piece.

Removing unserviceable stiffeners from Charpoy GI pipe and S&F 02 Nos of square MS tube size 32mm x 32mm x 16 guage thick, 900mm long (Approx) fixed on long rail, painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, 03 Nos Nut & bolts consist of two washer size 50mm x 6mm fixed with plywood top on each tube, welding the square tubes between two long rails at equal spaces to the centre including two holes on MS tubes, 02 Nos MS plate size 60mm x 50mm x 3mm including making hole in each plate providing 02 Nos nuts & bolts (with two washer) size 50mmx6mm (04 Nos plate on 02 Nos Short rail) welding on inner portion of both short rails each at equal space all as specified and directed.

M&L removing old unserviceable long rails from Charpoy GI pipe and S&F new long rail of size 1884mm long made out of 32mm bore medium grade GI pipe duly threaded on both ends and fixing to charpoy complete all as specified and directed.

M&L removing old unserviceable short rails from Charpoy GI pipe and S&F new short rail of size 814mm long made out of long rails retrieved from Srl No 1.03 above duly threaded on both ends and fixing to charpoy complete all as specified and directed.

M&L removing old unserviceable legs from Charpoy GI pipe and S&F new legs of size 394mm long made out of short rails retrieved from Srl No 1.04 above duly threaded on one end and fixing to charpoy complete all as specified and directed.

M&L removing old unserviceable 3 way elbow from charpoy GI pipe and S&F new elbow 32mm bore (ISI marked) to charpoy complete all as specified and directed.

M&L removing old unserviceable check nuts from Charpoy GI pipe and S&F new check nut 32mm bore 6mm thick (ISI marked) to charpoy complete all as specified and directed.

M&L removing carefully following existing unserviceable components/members of bed hard (MAP) and S&F new components/members duly finished complete all as shown on drawing No FD/E6/ MAP/08 and directed :-

Top of size 1974mm x 904mm made out of plywood, 12mm thick, 7 ply, commercial type ISI marked BWR grade phenol bonded.

Rubber shoe for leg.

M&L spray painting two coats with black colour 1st quality synthetic enamel paint on all steel and iron surface complete bed after repairing and all as directed.

Removing existing unserviceable part of charpoy folding IP with hard top or similar pattern with following new part as per drawing No FD-388 :-

Removing existing unserviceable 12mm thick plywood top from charpoy folding IP and S&F new plywood top, 12mm thick, 7 ply, commercial type, ISI mark, BWR grade, overall size 1980mm x 900mm on top (plywood shall be provided in two equal pieces for each charpoy with appropriate gap in middle to facilitate folding of charpoy) with 12 numbers galvanised iron nuts and bolt 6mm dia and 70mm long incl sufficient numbers of GI washers of suitable size/ thickness on top maintain the plywood top in leveled position and one GI (heavy duty) washer on underside before tightening the nuts including embossing 'MES' with paint on all corners of plywood top complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of steel & iron surfaces of Charpoy folding IP and spray painting two coats with black colour first quality synthetic enamel paint on all steel & iron surfaces complete all as specified shown on drawings and directed.

M&L for removing carefully following existing broken / unserviceable components / members of charpoy with hard top wooden and S&F new components/ members duly finished complete all as shown on drawing No FD/MAP-II/01 and as directed :-

Top of size 1930mm x 850mm made out of plywood, 12 mm thick, 7 ply, commercial type, ISI marked BWR grade phenol bonded.

M&L preparation of steel & iron surfaces of charpoy with hard top and spray painting two coats with black colour 1st quality synthetic enamel paint on all steel & iron surfaces complete all as specified shown on drawings and directed.

S&F steel nuts, bolts & washers of various sizes as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : The items will be provided before commencement of work in order to maintain the stores.
