BOQ (PROVISION OF ANTI SUICIDE DOWN RODS FOR CEILING FANS AND CERTAIN E/M CONNECTED WORK AT AF STN SURATGARH )

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and and not exc. 1.5m depth wide in softdloose soil for laying electric cables/pipes etc including getting out excavated earth and trimming the sides and bottoms of trenches , complete all as specificed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation of road cutting/hard standing by manually including making good to disturb surface after the completion of work with PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 on top not less than 150 mm thick including levelling and cambering according to exixsting road surface ,refilling,watering ,ramming etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each, excavated soil in trenches after the cables have been laid and tested, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 meter above the starting point , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Sand cushioning to cables with a layer of sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm depth (punned down to 10 cm depth after laying and stretching of cable), complete all as specificed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Punned thickness (over all 18 cm) shall be measured & paid.

Brick of common burnt clay, sub class 'B' old size laid flat and dry on cables as in cable protection in trenches over cables perpendicular to direction of cables abutting each other , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured heavy duty electric power cable 1100 volts LT with stranded aluminium conductor of size of 16 sq mm 4 core core.laid in trenches or under road , ducts/fixed to wall/pole/ inside panel/ drawn through pipe including cable glands and terminal sockets etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Excavation, sand and brick work will be measure & paid separately .

Galvanized tubes 40 mm bore medium grade with all fittings including cutting, threading etc as per site requirment and drilling holes/fixing clamp set for taking branch connection from main pipe line and fixed on wall or laid under floor ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: TATA/ JINDAL/ BST.

Point wiring (concealed) complete with FRLS PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 Volts grade, conforming to IS-694, 1.5 sq mm (nominal area) multi stranded copper conductor cable drawn though in and including stove enamelled steel conduit conduit , ISI marked, 19/20 mm dia including all accessories, concealed in walls/floors/ceilings etc by cutting chases using machine and making good the disturbed surface, with and including sunken type pressed steel/welded MS terminal box 1.2 mm thick bakelite laminated sheet top cover 3 mm thick and 1.5 sq mm copper earth continuity wire connected to earth dolly complete for the following, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Metal flush box and other modular accessories except switches, sockets, and fan regulators shall be deemed included in the rate quoted., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

One Fan point controlled by one switch and socket.

All as per item No 9 above but 4 sq mm cable size with 2.5 sq mm earth continuity wire for one 3 pin socket outlet, 15 Amps on independent board.(AC/Geyser)

Switch modular type, single pole one way 6 Amps, 250 volts Ac suitable for modular switch boxes without indicator, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Legrand/Anchor Roma/Crabtree or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Socket modular type single pole one way 6 Amps 2/3 pin 250 volts , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Legrand/Anchor Roma/Crabtree or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

PVC rectangular block for mounting, switches, sockets,fan regulator etc. with 3 mm thick plastic laminated sheet cover of size 175 x 100 x 50 mm deep, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Sheet metal enclosure with socket plug top single pole and neutral enclosure with a two pin and earth plug and socket complete with one single pole MCB of 20 amps , 240 Volts, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/Havells or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Sheet metal enclosures for DB's for incorporating MCBs, TPN, 4 way, IP-43 double glazed door with 200 amps rated busbar, 415 volts, as per IS-8623, including taking down old unserviceable DBs, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/Havells or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Sheet metal enclosures for SPN DB's with double glazed door for incorporating MCBs,IP-43 , 8 way with 200 amps rated busbar, 240 volts, as per IS-8623, including taking down old unserviceable single phase DBs, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/Havells or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

MCB four poles, 63 Amps, breaking capacity 10 KA 'C' curve confirming to IS-8828, 240 volts, 50 HZ including making necessary incoming and outgoing electrical connection with suitable size of copper lugs etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/Havells or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

MCB SPN 32 amps 'C' series, breaking capacity 10 KA, 'C' curve 240 volts, 50 Hz including necessary incoming and out going electric connection with suitable size of copper lugs etc.,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/Havells or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

MCB SP, 6 to 32 Amps, C series, breaking capacity 10 KA, 'C' curve 240 volts, 50 Hz including necessary incoming and out going electric connection with suitable size of copper lugs etc.,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/Havells or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Sub main wiring ( surface ) with two single core 6 Sqmm FRLS PVC insulated and unsheathed cables with stranded copper conductor cable drawn through in and including 32 mm dia rigid non metallic PVC conduit and conduit accessories including one single core 4 Sqmm FR PVC insulated unsheathed stranded copper earth cable connected to common earth dully complete and including cutting chasing in walls for concealed wiring using machine cutting and making good the disturbed surface, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : 2 run of 6 Sqmm ,1 run of PVC conduit & 1 run of 4 Sqmm cable will be measured as single run .

Cutting existing 15/20 mm steel tubing for alteration and addition (each cut measured) including screwing existing steel tubing for alterations and addition or lengthening screw on pipe to form connector ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Cutting holes in brick wall to passes the GI pipe 15/20 mm dia and making good distrubed portion with cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 as required,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Steel water tubes, 15 mm bore medium grade, galvanized with all fittings and fixed complete to walls, ceiling or laid in floors, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Stop valve 15 mm dia cast copper alloy , screwed down high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Bip taps,15 mm cast copper alloy chromium plated with crutch handle or butter fly handle screwed down , screwed for iron pipe , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Fixing ,testing and commissioning of water heater storage type vertical of capacity 25 Ltr with 04 Nos fabricated anchor bolt T type of 8 mm dia 100 mm to 400 mm long with nut & washer including drilling ,making good the disturbed surfaces with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and cement mortar etc matching with existing surfaces including electric and water connection ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Geysers shall be issued under schedule "B" for free for fixing.

PVC connections of PTMT, non corrosive, with nuts & washers on both ends, 450 mm long suitable for 15 mm bore, ISI marked,as inlet for cold water ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

PVC connection of 15 mm size,spirally reinforced with stainless steel wire inside the pipe for outlet hot water pipe connection,with brass nuts at both ends of length 450 mm ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Rolled mild steel steel Fe 410-W (GdeE- 250) qualityA for Framed work as in Desert cooler stand of size 70X60 Cm made of angle Iron of size 50x50x6 mm thick including fixing in wall and making good to disturbed surfaces of in cement concrete 1:2:4 & finishing the surfaces in plaster CM 1:4 ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Fixing ,installation and testing of Desert cooler electric driven (sigle phase),having nominal air flow capacoty 4000 Cum per hour, bottom tank capacity 60-70 Ltr ,1300 RPM blade fan speed, fan blade size 17 inch,nominal size of 27x22.4x47 inch, with submerisble water pump of steel body ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Desert cooler shall be issued under schedule "B" for free for fixing.

Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases as required 4 mm dia GI wire, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with G I earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm burried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to G I earth strip 4 dia G I wire by means of brass bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) connected to main switch board or any other electrical equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm bore medium grade GI pipe for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, pit cover of precast RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, reinforced XPM of weight not less than 4 kg/ Sq.m and MS frame etc. including replacment of old unserviceable earthing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The unit rate includes earth lead and protection pipe up to maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate to earth point/test point. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed minimum 0.5 metre away from earth.

Taking down ceiling fans of any size, any make fixed/hanged at different location in Air Force station, dismantling the fan complete cleaning and re-assembling the same including replacing Anti Suicide down rods, split pins flexible copper cable of size 23/0.0076 twin core, 70 cm long and refixing the ceiling fan on the same location in original position, testing and commissioning of fan for smooth running, as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge Note:- (i) Quoted rate by tenderer of any item of the schedule is inclusive of taking down the ceiling fans from the position and re-fixing/hanging in position connecting and testing cmplete. (ii) Anti suicide dwon rods replacement of spares shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items. (iii) Old MS down rod to be deposited at AGE E/M store yard

Supply and Fixing of capacitor of 3.15 Mfd including fixing complete and including necessary items such as sleeves etc. complete all as specified and directed

Supply and Fixing of step type electronic fan regulator AC 220V Single phase, complete all as specified and directed

Supply and Fixing of Metallic clamps for hanging of ceiling fans with bolts & nuts, split pin etc, complete all as specifed and directed

Supply and Fixing of rubber real/pad of suitable size for ceiling fans of any size and make complete all as specified and directed

Supply and Fixing of 10" 'Gold Life' Smardt MS down rod (Anti Suicide Fan Rod) white colour for ceiling fans of any size and make complete all as specified and directed. Make: Gold Life Smart Fan down Rod HSN/SAC code 8414

Contract Amount shall be derived after affecting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary on serial page No 15 of tender documents.
