Fresh Vegitables

Potato:- 7-15 Kg., Light moisture, low sugar content, long shape both sides should be smooth peeling skin, no deeply set eves or spots, no decay or worm injury, no discoloration, even shape, not cold stored.

Onion:- Round shape & should not be sprouting, dry skin approx. 10 to 20 Nos per Kg.

Tomato (Tamatar):- mature but not over ripe, smooth & firm to feel, Pulpy, No decay greenish or cracks round shape, bright red approx 8-20 Nos per kg.

Peas Green (Matar):- Poods full & heavy, splits seem on applying pressure light green color, not welted, no excessive water content peas of ½ cms dia.

Green Chilly (Hari Mirchi):- Crisp & smooth, dark green colour, not over ripe, even shape, white soft seeds.

Coriander Green (Hara Dhaniya):- Bright green colour, fresh, without roots, no flower no seeds, stem not more than 5 cms.

Ginger (Adrak):- Fresh without roots/Mud, Fully grown.

Garlic (Lahsun):- Dry, Big bulb, big pods, firm & dry from outside, No fungus or black stains, pods should be of uniform size.

Capsicum (Shimla Mirch):- Bright bottle green colour, tender crisp, evenly shaped soft seeds, no softness or discoloration approx. 10-12 Nos per kg.

Cabbage (Patta Gobhi):- Light green to white, heavy for size, solid leaves green colour to be tightly wrapped, No worms & decay.

Cauliflower (Phool Gobhi):- Creamy white in colour, no more than 5 cm of stem attached, heavy and compact, no spots or bruises, no decay from plant lice, good size 700 gms (Approx) each free of blemishes and worms, fresh fair green leaves.

Brinjal (Baingan):- Round & long type, uniform, dark purple colour, soft shinny surface, green top and stem, not heavy for size, gut not over 100-150 grams, free of blemishes & worms, on cutting, 5-6 per kg.

Bottle gourd (Lauki):-Firm, long, less seeds, light green in colour.

Mashroom Fresh:- Should be clean & fresh, free of mud & worms, no fungus or black stains.

Spinach (Palak):- Typical green colour, fresh green leaves, fine & texture, no mud, no seeds & stem, No roots, length of leaves more than 5 cms.

Lady Finger (Bhindi):- Bright green colour, smooth velvety surface, long shape, should have small seeds approx 10 cm long.

French Beans:- Bright green colour, crisp & long, should snap when bent, no mouldy or wilted beans, no thread along spines, not damp, pull of tips to neck.

Bitter Gourd (KARELA):-Bright green colour smooth shiny surface minimum seeds.

White radish (Mooli):- White color, fresh green leaves, dry sharp tastes, crisp core even sized dia 4-5 cms length 12-15 cms.

Carrot:- Conical, uniform shape, core not more than 3 diameter of the carrot, fresh smooth skin, even shape, should break when bend, rusty red colour.

Sarso Saag:- Should be clean and green in colour , Free of mud.

Raai:- Should be clean and green in colour , Free of mud.

Turnip fresh (Shalgam):- Should be clean & fresh and with leaf.

Kathal:- Round or long shaped, Green colour and no cracks.

Tinda:- Should be clean and free of mud

Taurai:- Should be clean, free of mud and green colour

Pumpkin (Kaddu):- round or long shaped, firm stem no bucks, smooth & uniform, no cracks.

Arbi:- Should be clean, Free of Mud, even sized.

Fresh Lemon (Nimbu):- Bright yellow colouur, thin skinned, firm & heavy, uniform size, resilient to tough 20-25 per kg.

Grapes (Green/Black):- Seedless, green/black, fresh & extremely juicy.

Safal Matar:-Grade-A and packing of 1 or 5 kg. The sheel should be cleaned and undamaged

Pears (Nashpati):- Medium size, fresh ripe, should not have any cuts, bruises or damage.

Beetroot(Chakunder):-Should be clean, Dark red colour, and free of mud.

Lima bean (Sem fali):- Bright green colour, crisp & long, should snap when bent, no mouldy or wilted beans, no thread along spines, not damp, pull of tips to neck.

Cluster Beans( Gwar Phali):- Green colour,

Cucumber(Kakdi):- Firm & resistant to thumb pressure, dark green colour, shinny smooth surface, thin skin, small & tender seeds, medium size, 1.5:-2" dia, even shape, no decay, 6-8 per kg.

Water Melon:- A grade freshly pluked hand picked sweet juicy water melon.

Musk Melon:- A grade freshly pluked hand picked sweet juicy musk melon

Pointed Gourd (Parval):- Green, fresh

Ripe Papaya (Grade-A):- Orange/Yellow in colour, tracks of green colour acceptable, green skinned acceptable during off-season. The pulp should have a bright yellow colour. Average weight 1-2 kg.

Pomegranate:- Colour deep pink to dark red skin, bright red, free from visible contamination.

Banana:- Big size should not be less than 5 inch, thin skinned, not over ripe, no black mark, skin should not be soft.

Orange:- Size medium, deep in colour, thin skinned, fresh & juicy.

Apple:- Golden red, the skin should be smooth, spotless, no bruises, cracks, no hole or black spot.

Mango:- The skin should be tight, smooth and waxy, the pulp should be firm and not stringy. There should be no bruises.

Keenu Grade-1:- Size medium, deep in colour, fresh and juicy.

Guava:- Off-White in colour, smooth round shape, hard to touch, the skin should have no bruises or black spots. The seeds should be small and few. Average count 7-15 per kg.
