Repairing of Joints, surface cracks and damaged surface of concrete pavement at Aurangabad Airport (2nd Call)

Cleaning of existing concrete pavement joints including removal of existing sealant material and other joint filler material and providing & laying in position polysulphide sealant (Dr. Fixit Pidiseal PS 43G or Shaliseal PSPG or equivalent make conforming to IS-12118 (1987) and manufacturer's specifications) in Expansion Joints of size 25 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 30 mm dia closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up rod including making surfaces dry and free from loose particles, rounding of ages, preparing and priming the surface with approved primer and applying masking tape along the edge of the joint to prevent accidental spillage of polysulphide on top surface to give neat finish and removing the masking tape after application of polysulphide etc. complete as per direction Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: i) For purpose of payment, quantity length(m) x width(cm) x depth(cm) of polysulphide will be measured. ii) Removed sealant and joint filler material must be disposed at desinated location outside Operational area within Airport premises)

Providing and laying in position expansion joint, 25mm thick Synthetic joint filler board of approved make conforming to IS:1838(part 3)-2011, upto depth as specified by EIC all complete as per particular specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Note: For purpose of payment, quantity (length (m) x depth (m) ) of filler board will be measured).

Repairing of surface cracks in rigid pavement with Epoxy repair mortar (Dr. Fixit Epoxy Mortar or Sikadur - 41 or Shalifix EM or equivalent make conforming to IS code and manufacturer's specifications) after marking, cutting the pavement surface along crack in triangular notch of width 20 mm at top & depth of 20 mm , cleaning the prepared area, priming the area with compatible approved primer, masking, pouring the compound, finishing & texturing complete as per manufacturer specifications and the direction of EIC with required machines & tools.(Note: For purpose of payment, quantity length (in metre) of crack will be measured).

Repairing of damaged surface of rigid pavement with Epoxy repair mortar (Dr. Fixit Epoxy Mortar or Sikadur - 41 or Shalifix EM or equivalent make conforming to IS code and manufacturer's specifications) after marking, scraping/chipping to make even the pavement surface upto depth as specified by EIC (minimum 5 mm), cleaning the prepared area, masking and pouring the compound, finishing & texturing complete as per manufacturer specifications and the direction of EIC with required machines & tools.(Note: For purpose of payment, quantity (length (m) x width (m) x depth (mm) ) of Epoxy repair mortar will be measured).
