Estimate for Fabrication Works of New Twin Hull Barge at Merra Departmental Owned Major River Lift Irrigation (R.L.I.) Scheme

Patch/Doubling works complete with 5 .mm M.S. plate incuding welding, gas cutting,. fitting, fixing complete. Cost of 5 mm M.S. plate including wastage due to cutting„ including labour charges for straightening fitting, fixing In position.

Gas cutting to’ required size of 5 mm thick M.S plate, N.S.C. channel etc. Including labour charges, hire charges for all tools and plants.

Electric welding charges of 5 mm M.S. plate M.S channels etc. and other member of barge including hiring charges of all tools and’ plants.

Supply, fitting, fixing complete with fastner : Galvanized corrugated iron sheet work (excluding the supporting frame work) fitted and fixed with 10 mm dia. J or L hook-bolts, limpet and bitumen washers and putty complete with 150 mm end lap and one corrugation minimum side’ lap with 0.63 mm thick sheet in roof ( payment to be made on area of finished works)

G.I. sheet ridging with 25 cm. lap each way fitted and fixed with necessary bolts and nuts screw. washers etc. complete with”0.63 mm sheets.

Supplying, fitting and fixing of B.R.C. net. (75 mm x 25 mm x 10 swg) with nuts and bolts of the barge including gas cutting etc.

Supplying 1.5 mm (16 SWG) M.S. sheet fitted.and fixed on one or both faces of M.S. bar etc. with point welding not more than 150 mm apart complete in all respect and including cost of labour and materials as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, fitting & fixing of M.S. angle (Size : 45 mm x 45 mm x 6 mm) including gas cutting etc.

Supplying, fitting & fixing of M.S. flat bar 40mm x 6 mm for straightening the B.R.C. Net including gas cuking etc.

Chipping, scraping wire brushing and cleaning of the point painted surfashed for keel , hull, frame, superstructure deck, fender both inside and out side as per direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.

Cost of Doors (6’-0" x 3’-0") by point welding with B.R.C. net (75 mm x 25 mm x 10 SWG), 49 mm x 6 mm M.S. flat bar, 6" hings 4 pcs. 10 " hasp bolts - 2 nos. etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, fitting, fixing complete of 1" dia MS Rod for Plate welding of MS Plates of the Barge.

Supplying, fitting & fixing of 25 mm G. l. Pipe for tie rod of the Barge.

PAINTINGS : Priming one coat on steel or other metal surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc.

(b) Painting two coats (with any shade except white) with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on steel surface or other metal surface with super gloss (hi-gloss).

Placing and positioning the Centrifugal pump motor set on the pump base / pump house floor, aligning properly with necessary packing and fixing the set with holding down nuts and washer including cutting holes of requiside size in the floor/base, grouting the bolds and mending good all damages complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Transportation charges for carryingof all the materials, working devices etc. upto the scheme and back.

Dockyard hired Charges for approx. 60 days including elecricity charges.

Shifting of barge to the nearest river site or place from the working place and blocking of the barge by area clearance, earth cutting, winching, jacking, planking, block fixing and un-jacking the tools and plants all complete as per direction of the EIC

Hiring charges of mechanised country boat for making arangement for dragging and sailing through the river including fuel and lubricants etc all complete as per direction of the EIC 2(two) nos. country boat for 4(four) days i.e, 2 x 4 =8 boats per day

Semi-skilled labour charges of boatman for sailing purpose the barge through the river including tools and plants all complete as per direction of the EIC 3(three) nos. Boatman for 4(four) days i.e, 3 x 4 = 12 boatman per day

Un-skilled labour charges of boatman for pulling the barge with the help of 2 nos. winch machine / pulling and lifting machine from the bank of the river and placing the same at safety place including tools and plants all complete as per direction of the EIC 12 (twelve) nos. labour (each set) for 4 (four) days i.e, 2 x 12 x 4 = 96 boatman per day

Semi-skilled labour charges of winchtman for 2 nos. Gang Leader for 2 sets. winch machine / pulling and lifting machine to supervise the dragging works and arrangement at the time of operation of the work. 2 (two) nos. Gang Leader for 4 (four) days i.e, 2 x 4 = 8 gang leader per day

Suppling 1 mtr x 0.6 m x 24 swg MS board contaning list of spout wise water users by making numbers of spout as directed by EIC. The board should have base colour - Black and words - White to be fitted and fixed on the wall of the pump house.
