Maintenance of lawns at Sadras West and maintenance of Medicinal garden area in Kalpakkam Township during the year 2025 - 2026.

Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees in garden area by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming the unwanted growth of grasses as required including running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards shown by the department, watering the trees both inside & outside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. Note:- 1) The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of cut grass, leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2) The rate shall also includes cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening. 3) Measures to be taken to prevent the entry of goats, cattles etc., 4) The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m area maintained per month. 5) Contractor has to make his own arrangements for lawn movers. If departmental lawn mover is available it will be provided by Department on chargeable basis. 6) If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate of 30 paise/Sq.m per month will be charged as penalty from each RA Bill. 7) For every 1800 Sq.m. of lawn area, contractor should engage minimum 1 Labour for regular maintenance. 8) The area to be maintained per month is 25000 Sq.m. As such, total area to be maintained under this contract is 12 Months x 25000 Sq.m = 300000 Sq.m.

Collection, supply and stacking of good quality red earth without stones, gravel etc., and stacking for pre measurement at places shown by Engineer for taking pre measure- ments including spreading the same at places shown within a lead up to 100 metres etc., all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Collection, supplying and stacking of decomposed dry farmyard manure without undesirable materials, stacking the same at places shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100 metres and filling in pits etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Reinstating of damaged existing lawn by Turfing method including earthwork excavation, digging, levelling the surface of the earth, area cleaning, collection, supply & planting of Korean grass of good quality including conveyance, cost of Korean grass and plants, etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and planting of following Ornamental plants of good quality & healthy appearance with blooming nature with 1 - 5 ft height etc., including earth work excavation, spreading & filling of red earth, farm yard manure to an average thickness of 50mm and transporting the plants to site, making pits, initial watering, weeding etc., all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Cost of Red earth and manure will be paid for separately under relevant items)

Supplying and fixing of 3/4" Plastic impact sprinklers (full circle) of approved make for class-3 PVC pipe (6Kg/sq.cm) and coverage radius of 10-15mtr, including transporting, unloading at work site, fixing with PVC pipe etc., all complete as per manufacter specification and as directed by Engineer - In- Charge.

Excavating trenches of required width by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator / manual means) for pipes, cables etc., for depth upto 1.5m in all kinds of soil including excavation for sockets, dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, getting out the excavated soil and then refilling the soil as required in layers not exceeding 200mm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc., and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m, (Disposed soil to be levelled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed), etc., all complete as per specification.
