M&L cleaning / function of existing sewage system and pumping station (comprising of sewage lines in SGSW pipes, hume pipe and CI pipes) of any dia at any depth, manholes septic tanks and soakage wells of different types sizes and in any position i.e below or above ground level, located in different situations and also on the surfaces of the wall etc complete in perfect function/running/flowing condition without any obstruction by removing all blockage in system and including removing of all wastes solid or liquid of any description from the location of works in the enitre area under AGE B/R-I at Bathinda Mil Stn. Note :- One Safaiwala shall be as one unit. The charges of supervisor shall be deemed included in unit rate of each Safaiwala per day. (i) Safai wala as required by AGE & one supervisor alongwith two Mobile phone will daily report at 0900 Hours to the complain cell/sub div in the proper uniform & with necessary T&P such as green female bamboo strip, iron rods, buckets, rope, ladder,safety mask etc for execution of this item and quoted rate shall also include this provision including conveyence of workers & supervisor (ii) A team of workers with T&P is required to look after the sewage complaints of the entire location when the blockage occurs as direcetd by Engineer -in- Charge and completion report shall be submitted upto 5 PM. (iii) Contractor or his representative shall report dialy at 09.00 AM in the office of Engineer -in-charge to obtain the complaint slips and necssary directions (iv) The attendance register shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and put on to Engineer -in-Charge daily. (v) A complaint register shall be maintained by JE and proper record of complaints received and attended with date and time shall be recorded and shall be signed dialy by both the parties. Complaint register shall be kept on record of Engineer-in-charge after completeion of work.

(vi) The complaint regarding blockage of sewage system shall not remain unattended for more than 24 hours after register it with the contractor or his represntative who may be lodged/tied up by telephone or in writing or personal contact In case of failure, a peanlty of Rs. 200/- per complaint per day for the incononveniece caused to the users shall be imposed on the contractor. (vii) The status of GE/Engineer -in-charge is only as far as contract -operating conditions are concered and GE/Engineer -in-charge will have no liability to give permanency of employment to either the contractor or any of his employes. This fact will be clearly explained by the contractor to all his employes and certificate to this effect will be rendered by him at the time of commenecement of the work. (viii) A certificate shall be produced by the contractor to the effect that every employee engaged by him have been paid their wages in full and obtained receipts. (ix) Contractor shall provide uniform (along with name plate) duly approved by Engineer-in-charge for summer and winter season respectively to each workmen. A penalty @ Rs. 25/- per person shall be made for the workmen not found in proper uniform. (x) Supervisor will supervise the workers and work. (xi) Each worker shall submit the Affidavit Rs 10/- stamp paper duly attested by notary that he will not claim the employment from the department/GE. (xii) The contractor shall submit the accident/risk insurance policy of the each worker who are employing in sewage cleaning work.

De- sludging of existing manholes septic tanks and soakage wells of any capacity size and depth including disposal of sludge etc and taking off the manhole cover and placing in the same position after taking out sludge through mechnically sewage suction pump and dividely store in covered container etc complete and removing the sludge in covered van/trolly outside the MD land all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Nate :- Dewatering of existing manhole/septic tank will not be measured only solid material will be measured.

De-watering from existing soak wells of any capacity size and depth including taking off the manhole cover and placing in the same position after taking out waste water through mechnically sewage suction pump and dividely store in covered container etc complete and removing the water in covered van/trolly outside the MD land all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge .

Providing and fixing SFRC (Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete) Cover and frame (heavy duty HD-20 grade designation) 650 mm internal diameter/ clear opening 70cm x 70cm conforming to I.S. 12592, total weight of cover and frame to be not less than 182 Kg., fixed in cement concrete (1:2:4) etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling and disconnecting of existing CI soil vent pipe 100 mm bore fixed to wall,laid in trenches incl all fittings & accessories complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and disconnecting of existing CI soil vent pipe 75 mm bore fixed to wall,laid in trenches incl all fittings & accessories complete all as specified and directed.

S & F cast iron sand soil waste and vent pipe 75mm bore with or without ears fixed with chemical cement joints laid in trenches/floors or fixed in walls complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for add or deduct for each 25 mm girth or part thereof over or under 30cm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer – in - Charge.

Returning, filling in soft / loose soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing surplus excavated material not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in repairs vitreous China squatting pan, 'Orissa' pattern, size 580 x 440 mm white, with integral foot rests including connection to trap, and to flushing pipe, anti-syphonage pipe, etc. complete including making good to floor and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 16 to 18mm thick Dholpur stone cladding gang saw cut with machine cut edges, uniform colour of each stone size exceeding 0.5 sqm area fixed with and including one number SS clamps (grade -202) of flat-30mm X2mm, 150mm long made to shape in each slab, making V groove at top and bottom of stone and drilling hole for hold fastener, polishing, rubbing & including silicon treatment complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for granite (of any type) work 18 to 20 mm thick (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite including M&L for 15 mm thick screed in cement mortar (1:4) and finish the surface rough to receive the tile complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for painting to old concrete surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described with one coat of synthetic enamel paint including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting into existing manholes / septic tank for connecting new drains of size 150 mm, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-l smooth finished, and reforming benching as required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or Reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar of any dia set in cement , laid in trenches including all fittings and accessories complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of 150mm dia SWG pipe for removal of blockage and M & L for SWG pipe of 150mm dia and other fittings to make the line functional, jointing with cement joints, providing PCC 1:2:4 all around pipe including cost of all T & P required for this job making the arrangement for changing the piece of pipe in existing running sewer line complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earthwork shall be measured and paid separately in this BOQ.

Dismantling of 200mm dia SWG pipe for removal of blockage and M & L for SWG pipe of 200mm dia and other fittings to make the line functional, jointing with cement joints, providing PCC 1:2:4 all around pipe including cost of all T & P required for this job making the arrangement for changing the piece of pipe in existing running sewer line complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earthwork shall be measured and paid separately in this BOQ.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in concrete bed of (SGSW) drain pipes of 100 mm dia, laid to required slope including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
