M&L for excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exeeding 1.5 m deep, getting out the excavated earth and making bottom surface to required gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for removal of excavated material such as soils n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for returning filling in and including spreading and leveling in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for sand cushioning using dry clean sand for protection of underground cable, consolidated and compacted complete all as specified and as directed.

Note : (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately (ii) Unit rate of this item is also includes the removal of brick/tile as cable protection, GI pipe and cable joint etc. and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (iii) After taking out the cables from the trench, serviceability of cable shall be checked by the contractor in presence of the Engr-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for boring of road for crossing of size 80 mm dia pipe at suitable depth not lss than 1 mtr by using machinery / equipments complete without damaging the surface for passing pipes / cables etc including removing excavated soil to a distance n exc 50m complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Location for boring holes shall be decided by the Engr-in-Charge as per requirement, nothing extra shall be payable on account of variation in length of crossing of road etc. (ii) During boring soil strata may be changed, hence nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor for boring of holes through different strata/different type of soil. Tenderer are advised to keep in mind this aspect while quoting rates.

M &L in replacment for 15mm dia GI pipe light grade, for road crossing / on wall / with pole for cable protection including cutting chasing, cutting of plinth protection or wall for inserting of cable and making good disturbed surface with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregatges complete all as specified and directed

M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 Mtr below ground level. The earth plate to be connetced with GI earthing strip of size 32mmx6mm thick by means of brazing between GI strip and earth plate min 45 cm in vertical length and GI strip also to be joined by brazing only. The GI earthing strip to be protected by galvanised iron pipe 40 mm bore (medium grade) up to ground level and there after with 40mm dia HDPE pipe up to test point. Earthing shall be include with providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (light grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) up to 90 cm all around earth plate further filled with 60 cm thick Tibba sand and 2nd layer with 30 cm of Magnesium sulphate powder (compact thickness ) , 3rd layer with tibba sand up to the ground level. Earthing shall also be include for providing concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs GI strip 32mm x 6mm in ground / laid in floor / fixed to walletc complete all as specified and diredcted. Note :- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Dismantling and taking out the old stay assembly complete including demolition of plain cement all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Unit rate of this item includes the loose/ disconnect the all accessories which are connected to stay assy including neccessary excavation as directed.

M&L for stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No1 including GI adjustable stay rod of 16 mm dia GI stay wire of size 7/4 mm including stay clamps, loop type insulators etc all as specified and directed. Note :- Earth work and PCC work shall me measured and paid separately.

Supply and replacement of silica gel complete contains in the breather assembly all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement of danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for LT, 20x15cm size all as specified and directed.

All as per item No: 40 but capacity above 160 KVA and upto 630 KVA.

M&L for painting of steel tubular pole 9.0 m long/Swan neck pole, by applying two coat of alluminum paint after scraping/brushing and cleaning the rust on pole and cross arms. Aluminium painting will be done on pole above 1.5 m height from ground level and balance 1.5 m from ground level will be painted by alternate layer of red and white enammelled paint ( 30 cms each) pole No will be written on pole by black paint in yellow circle of 150 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint on RCC pole from 1.5 mtr above the GL and balance 1.5 m from ground level will be painted by synthetic enamel paint in alternatively black and white strap of 30 cm after scraping /removing the existing paint and the preparation on the surface of RCC LT pole. Pole No will be written on pole by black paint in white circle of 150 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning and preparation of surfaces of any existing E/M equipment / LT Panel of any size and applying one coats of synthetic enameled paint complete all as specified and directed

M& L trimming of tree branches on both sides of HT /LT aluminium conductor overhead complete all as specified and directed.Note : (i) Cutting branches shall be dumped outside th Air Force premises . (ii) Contractor shall be provide the ladder of required height including T&P to his worker and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Taking down/Removing existing damage and bent PCC/Steel poles from site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.
