Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6.0mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25m deep below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5m below ground level connected to GI earth wire 4mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, washers of galvanised iron or steel, GI earth wire shall be protected by 20mm dia GI pipe 'medium grade', watering pipe 20mm dia GI pipe 'light grade', GI wire meshed funnel, alternate layer of charcoal and salt on all side to earth plate upto a thickness of 150mm, filling of black cotton soil in earth pit upto GL and connected to earth plate including necessary excavation & earthwork, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 earth chamber, 40mm thick RCC cover (1:2:4) mix with 6mm dia nominal reinforcement @ 150mm c/c both ways etc complete all as shown in electrical plate No.3 connected to earthing test point, including testing on completion, complete all as speciifed and as directed. Notes :- (a) The cost of GI earth wire and protection pipe upto 7.5m from earth pit to terminal box shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.
