Annual Contract for Cleaning and Garbage removal work of NML Housing Area at Agrico, Tuiladungri, Pipeline and C. H. Area for the year 2020-2021 and 2021-22

Cleaning of all areas : (a) Comprising of drains, roads, allay, lawns, playgrounds including surrounding area of Main gate, garbage bin chutes of all buildings, security gomuti, floors and surroundings of all buildings on a daily basis. The work shall also entail cleaning of other than general services, i.e. uprooting of bushes, plants, brickbats, garbage and removal of same to the dumping areas outside the campus.(b) Cleaning of choked sewer line with bamboo and other mechanised equipment & accessories as and when required including removal of muck, rubbish etc. from manholes and disposal of same to dumping area outside the campus.(c) Cleaning of choked gully trap, p-traps, WC with vacuum cleaner or as directed when required including removal of muck, rubbish etc from manholes and disposal of the same to dumping area outside the campus.(d) Cleaning of cobweb in stair case.(e) Cleaning of roof including stair case of all building & chajja, at all heights of all buildings including multistoried buildings. It includes removal of vegetation, if any, as per specific direction only. (f) Supply and running of powered hand bush cutter three numbers (In running conditions) with accessories (Such as moblie, Cutting tar, blade, safety gogals, mask, hand glups and safty boots etc.), for Grass cutting in housing colonies (Agrico, Tuiladungari, Pipe Line and C.H. Areas). In case of out of order of machines alternate working machines shall be made available at site for the work. The cost of Machine maintenance will be borne by the service provider.The cost of Petrol will be paid sapaeratly by NML as per actual. (g) It is desired that the contractor will engage minimum twelve nos. of labourers per day and make necessary arrangement for tools and other accessories needed. (h) Daily sweeping , cleaning and removal of cobwebs from the dispensaries, club house and site office including washing of floors, toilets and cleaning of all urinals, sinks, wash basin with phenyle, provide Neptholine balls etc. (I) Running of Fogging Machine twice in a week in Housing Colony Agrico, Tuiladungari, pipe line and CH Area.(Fogging Machine provided by department and the cost of fuel wil be Paid separately as per actual basis) (j) Grass Cutting and hadge Cleaning of CSIR-NML Sports ground area in Agrico. NOTE: QUOTED RATE IS FOR ALL JOBS MENTIONED FROM 1(a) TO 1(j).

Gardening work inside campus with watering to plant, digging, cutting & leveling of hedge with wooden handle hedge cutter in parks & road side and trimming of trees with mechanised equipment/ manual. (Rate to be quoted on monthly basis). Two labour should be engaged exclusively for this item of work.

Supplying and spreading of approved quality bleaching powder in places as and when required and directed.

Supplying and spreading of approved quality Carbolic Acid in places as and when required and directed.

Cleaning of terrace /loft water storage tank ( inside surface at all height with coconut brushes,duster etc.,removal of silt ,rubbish from the tank and cleaning the tank with fresh water disinfecting with bleaching powder @0.5 gm per litre capacity of tank including marking the date of cleaning on the side of tank body with the help of stencil and paint and disposal of malba all complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge .(The old date already written on tank should be removed with paint remover or black paintand if date is not written with the stencil or old date is not removed deduction will be made @ Rs 0.1. per litre)(if during cleaning any GI fitting or ball cock is damaged that is to be repaired by contractor at his own cost and nothing extra will be paid on this account)

Cleaning of under ground sump ,Over head R.C.C tank ( independent staging) including disposal of silt and rubbish ,all as per direction of Engineer In Charge .The cleaning shall consist following operation:-(a) Tank shall be emptied of water by pumpimg & bottom shall be cleaned of silt and other deposits.(b) Entire surface area of the sump shall then scrubbed thoroughly with wire brush etc. and pressure washed with water.(c) Chlorination of RCC internal surface by liquid chlorine.(d) The treated surface shall be dried using air jetting and loose particles shall be removed from the surface.(e) Finally the surface shall be treated with ultraviolet radiation etc. as per direction of Engineer -In-Charge.

Additional man days for unforseen work as and when required etc.(to be executed with exclusive instruction.)
