Construction of embankment with approved materials having CBR >7 obtained from borrow pits with all lead and lift transporting to site ,spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-1, 300-2 and as per relevant clauses of section -300

Construction of granular sub-base by providingwell graded material like natural sand crushedgravel or crushed stone having CBR >30, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader onprepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator or plant mix method at OMC, andcompacting with vibratory rollers of 80 to 100 kNstatic weight to achieve the desired density, complete as per Clause 401 of Specification Plant Mix Method For Grading-I Material

Water Bound Macadam. Providing laying spreading and compacting stone aggragate of specifc sizes to water bound macadam specifications including spreading in uniform thickness , hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 T in stages to proper grade and camber , applying and brooming requisite type of screenings / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting to the required density as per clause 404 of specifications. ( B ) By mechanical means, Grading II ( 53 mm to 22.4mm ) using type B screenings ( 11.2 mm ). ( Note : for one 1.00 cum of compacted thickness contractor have to supply following materials 53 mm to 22.4 mm aggregate = 1.21 cum screenings 11.20 mm = 0.24 cum stone dust = 0.08 cum)
