SPECIAL REPAIRS TO RAISING PIPE LINE AND CONNECTED WORKS FROM AJAY BAUGH PUMP HOUSE TO SRINAGAR OVER HEAD TANK UNDER GE MINNIEBAY, SRI VIJAYA PURAM

Supplying, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning in replacement of 250 mm bore centrifugally cast (Spun) ductile iron pressure pipe with spigot and socketed ends class K-9, confirming to IS : 8329/2000 blast furnace slag cement with portland cement properties suitable for rubber gasket jointing / tyton joints with inside cement mortar lining and black bitumen external coating, duly (ISI marked) laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Rubber tyton joints & run lead joints of pipes shall be measured and paid in this quoted rate of BOQ. (ii) Earth work and excavation will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items of Sch 'A'. (iii) The contractor shall provide team comprising of pipe fitter and an assistant for cutting and re-jointing with existing pipe line all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The cost for the above items including all type of tools and plants / any type of vehicle / earth moving plant / hitchi / JCB as required at site is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted for above items. (iv) The contractor shall take due care while executing the work (i.e non damage of electrical cable, telephone cable, water supply pipe line etc) during execution of work if any fault / cutting occurred shall carry out repair immediately and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in quoted rates. (v) During execution of work if any liaison required for laying of pipe at site, from civil Administative department, local people gram panchayat, police station etc are the sole responsiblity for contractor. The contractor shall not claim and financial liabilities on this matter on bills. (vi) The cost of necessary encasing of pipe in culvert shall deemed to be included in this quoted rate.(vii) Taking down of CI pipe shall deemed to be included in this quoted rate all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying & fixing DI fittings for spigot & socketed pipes such as bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc),tee pieces, single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross collar, caps and plugs etc. suitable for spigot and socketed pipes upto 350 mm bore, complete, all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of cast iron sluice valve class PN 1.6 size of 250 mm bore heavy duty both ends flanged, suitable for 250 sizes bore conforming to IS 14846 of 2000 duly ISI marked with wheel operated handle with high tensile stainless steel spindle, including nuts, bolts, washers etc of required size and making arrangement for safe working complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, fixing, testing and commissioning in replacement of cast iron air release valve suitable for 250mm bore water main, having flanged ends with two air outlets, 80mm dia ISI marked, fixed with 250 x 80 mm, flanged Tee including jointing material such as nuts, bolts, washers and rubber sheet etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Cost of DI Tee is included in the unit rate of item nothing extra shall be paid on this account .

M & L for construction of valve chamber of internal size 1080x1080x900 mm with block masonry in cement mortar 1:6 , with Plain Cement Concrete (Nominal mix) 1:3:6 type C2 sub base plaster internally and exposed external surface in cement mortar 1:4 (15 mm thick and provision of valve chamber cover made out of MS sheet 3.15 mm thick welded to angle iron frame 40 x 40 x 5 mm made out to double / single door type with hinges and providing proper locking arrangement duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for cutting existing CI/DI pipe line of dia upto 350mm bore and making connection for new DI pipe as required suitable dia of pipe as on site, inluding necessary connections, fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for cutting of Road/Hard standing for laying of pipe line upto 250 mm bore dia including making good patch work by cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 using 40mm graded stone aggregate 150mm thick and finishing the surface with CM 1:2, 15mm thick all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

.M & L for precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in mass concrete/foundation/for supporting (encasing) of DI pipes of any size and in any position including plastering of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M/L for plain cement concrete (1.3.6) type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundations filling and mass concrete complete all as specified

Supply, lay and testing MS flanged pipe 200mm NB heavy duty suitable for welded joints and flanged joints including fabricating tailor made as per site requirement including painting with two coats of anticorrosive paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
