Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300mm dia, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned, upto 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specifications Clause 201.

Scarifying existing bituminous surface to a depth of 50 mm by mechanical means (Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with in all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres.

Compacting original ground supporting subgrade (Loosening of the ground upto a level of500 mm below the subgrade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of table 300-2 for subgrade construction.

Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means using cut earth to embankment in the immediate vicinity.
