Material and labour for servicing of HT VCB panel indoor type upto 630 Amps,11 KV as incomer + 2x630 Amps,11 KV as outgoing, complete by checking main connection and control circuit including replacement of unserviceable accessories, testing complete with full load operations to the satisfaction of Engineer in charge. NOTE :- (i) Necessary spray and other T&P equipments are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Other spares like battery etc will be measured under seperate items in this BOQ under Supply only. (iii) Labour charges for dismantling / taking down and replacement/refixing new parts as and when required is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (iv) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of minor spare parts as required at site.

All as per Sl Item No.1 above but 11 KV as incomer + 3x630 Amps,11 KV as outgoing all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for calibration of IDMT relays set of 11KV rating of three phase, through relay test kit inlcuding other required measuring equipment to the site by secondary injection method and testing for proper functioning/tripping systems of relays complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) The rate quoted by the contractor is deemed to be included for checking of relays in VCB for its proper setting/fuctioning and tripping of VCB/OCB during over load/earth fault. (b) The job needs to be carried out on quaterly basis.

Supply only Power Pack with Battery back up to suit the existing model of VCB complete all as specified and as directed comprising of following specifications :- Input Voltage : 230V AC Output Voltage : 110V DC Continuous Load : 100W Momentary Load : 450 watts for 240mSec Battery Back time : 10 min Battery : 12V DC,7 AH Make of VCB installed : SIEMENS

Supply only 110 V DC Battery Bank, with appropriate stand made up of MS angle iron frame of suitable size to place the batteries and connecting in series by means of copper coductor ( 100 AH, 2V X 55 Cells) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Servicing of 4 Pole Structure complete including removal of old and wornout parts/spares/insulators and replacing with new one as and when required including taking the shutdown from CESC/KEB. NOTE:- (a) Lightning arrestor, GOD and expulsion fuse will be measured under separate items. (b) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of replacement Pin/Disc insulators as and when required. (c) The rate is inclusive of replacing of male and female contact of AB switches as and when required. (d) The rate is inclusive of servicing/painting of GOD.

Material and labour for painting of PCC 4 Pole structure with cement based paint including painting of clamps/angles/ channels/ MS flat plate with synthetic enamal paint of approved tint after scrapping of old paint complete including taking the shutdown from CESC/KEB all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of MS cross arms, bracing support clamps, nuts, bolts and washers etc and Material and labour for MS rolled steel sections in Cross arms, bracings, supports,clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers,welding, bending cold or hot,drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for pruning of tree near 4 pole structure at DFRL tech area at not less than a distance of 10 RM from each pole apex complete all as specified and as directed by Eng-in Charge. NOTE :- (a) T&P, aluminium ladder, long shank knife, wood cutting axe required for pruning of tree shall be provided by the contractor. (b) Safety equipments like helmet, scaf holdings, shoes, earth rod shall be provided by the contractor. (c) Pruning of tree near 4 pole structure shall be be done after taking shutdown from KEB. The responsibility for shutdown will be held with the contractor (d) The above job to be carried out on a quarterly basis

Material and labour for laying and spreading graded coarse granite stone aggregate (broken stone or boulders) of size 40 mm in substation yard all as directed and specified.

Testing of existing earthing system through 3 terminal method including checking of the continuity of the earth wire / earth strip from earth pit to the Electrical equipment/test point/switchgears complete and watering the earthpit as and when required and noting on the earth register all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) The quoted rate is inclusive of Registers required to be prepared by the contractor. (b) The above job to be carried out on a monthly basis.

Material and labour for chemical earthing complete with copper plate of size 600x600x5mm thick barried directly and preferably vertical in gound with top edge not less than 1.5mtr below ground level connected with earth plate through copper strip of 32x6mm connected to earth testing point all including necessary earth work and excavation in any strata and FRP chamber and cover, water funnel and wire mesh etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (I) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of necessary earth & excavation work. (ii) The proportion of chemicals used will be as per the recommendations of the OEM.

Material and labour for Earth continuity conductor of size 20x3 mm copper strip or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in 40 mm GI conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specifed and directed Note : (a) The quoted rate is inclusive of Clamping on wall, Earthwork, PCC and plinth protection work as required

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground vertically earth pit through earth strip not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level with top to edge of the plate n. less than 1.5m below ground level connected to galvanized earth wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nut and washer of galvanized steel, including necessary earth work and excavation in any strata and FRP chamber and RCC cover and water funnel and wire mesh etc complete all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR part - I and all directed including connections and testing on completion all as specified and directed. Note : (I) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of necessary earth & excavation work. (ii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of water funnel & wire mesh and 50 mm GI pipe upto 3 m

All as per ser item No. 19 above but using galvanised iron strip 32x6 mm as earth lead all as specified and directed

Material and labour for filtration and dehydration of transformer oil through steam line filters to achieve and withstand 40 KV dia electric strength for 1 minute with an air gap of 2.5mm including testing of oil before and after filtration all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply only new transformer oil having not less than 60 KV die electric strength of 2.5 cm air gap for transformers all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Contractor shall submit the test result of transformer oil in duplicate to Engr-in-charge.

Supply only silica gel in silica gel container (Breather) suitable for existing transformer complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for opening of top cover of 250 KVA transformer, de tanking of transformer oil upto below HT bush level, disconnecting of HT/LT side bushes carefully with out damaging the transformer primary winding, removing un-serviceable LT bushing / HT bushing complete and replace with new bushing with brass terminal complete including replacement of un-serviceable cork sheet gasket complete to prevent oil leakage from transformer and reconnecting refilling of transformer oil after filtration and reassembling of top cover by replacing new cork sheet insulation complete including testing and commissioning of transformer complete as directed. NOTE :- (a) The work is to be executed at the site in DFRL area. (b) Filtration of transformer oil will be measured and paid separately under relevant item. (c) Spares like HT / LT Bushings will be measured and paid seperately under relavent items. (d) Re-winding of the limb of Transformer coil will be measured and paid seperately under relevent items.

Supply only LT Bushing complete with brass stud, washers nuts etc complete as per sample obtained from existing transformer all as specified and directed

Material and labour for in-replacement of burnt defective HT/LT copper coil of different type capacity winding with superior quality enamelled copper winding wire/strips of approved of suitable size/guage and Nos of turns maching with the existing impendence and insulated including all allied materials such as cork sheets, fiver glass insulation/paper insulation cotton, empire tape and wooden, bolts, nuts and washer (Brass) soldering and other packing material etc required for entire winding of coils all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-Charge. Note : (a) The guage of the copper wire is to be the same as that of the existing old winding (b) The rate quoted is inclusive of cranes for lifting and transportation of the transformer to the workshop at Bangalore and back at the site for re-winding. (c) The contractor needs to complete the job within a period of 25 Days from the date of lifting of the transformer failing which a half the quoted rate will be recovered. (d) Necessary temporary arangement need to be made by the contractor for uniterrupted power supply locally. However if required he may hire mobile transformer of upto 500 KVA outdoor from outside for the said period. The rate for hiring is deemed to be inclusive in the above quoted rate. (e) Before and after re-winding the winding needs to be checked before the accepting officer or his rep at the workshop to ensure its continuity and insulation.

Material and Labour for painting of transformer of capacity 250 KVA outside of body completely including cleaning the body scrubbing throughly and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over one coat of red oxide primer of existing shade of paints to transformer all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying cables / poles foundation / stay assembly and getting out hard/dense soil all as directed by Engs-in -charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm thick all as specified all as directed by Engs-in -charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceding 50 m and deposting where directed at a level not exceding 1.5 m above the starting point all as directed.

Supply and spread dry river sand in trenches for cable cushioning all as specified on both top and bottom of cable including ramming all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (a) Punned thickness will be considered for measurement purposes. (b) In case of non-availability of river sand crushed sand after screening may be approved at the discreation of Accepting officer.

Supply and lay burnt brick sub class 'B' of standard size best quality locally available laid in trenches for cable protection all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts Earthed, grade cross sectional area 185 sq. mm, 3 core complete all as directed and as specified NOTE :- (a) The rate is inclusive of testing of cable at site after laying of cables in trenches. (b) The cable may be laid manually and no other means shall be permitted.

Material and labour for cutting of road/ PCC for laying of UG cables upto a length of 3 m complete further laying of cables through GI pipe and filling with PCC and making the surface smooth to match with the existing surface complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (a) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of GI pipe of upto 100 mm bore (b) The depth of the cable after laid to be in the same plane as that of the connected earth work (c) The sides of the GI pipe is required to be sealed properly to avoid moisture

Material and labour for galvanized steel water tubing medium grade pipe of size 80 mm dia for protection of UG cable all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for detecting fault upto HT 11 KV through cable fault locator, finding the fault and excavating the earth at that particular location, removing the existing cable and preparing for fixing new cable joints and re laying of cables in the original position & return filling the earth work to make the surface smooth in accordance with surroundings. NOTE :- (a) Neccessary labour for the earth work upto 10 m along the cable is deemed to be included in the above quoted rate. (b) Necessary HT Joints will be measured under separate item. (c) Contractor has to commence the job within 3 hrs from the job card he has received. On failing which double the quoted rate will be recovered by the accepting officer. (d) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of the hiring of cable fault locator

Comprehensive maintenance of Automatic Power Factor Correction Panels ( APFC ) at various sub stations of different capacities and comprising of following works :- (i) Repair / maintenance of Contactors, Relays and Capacitors , MCCBs and MCBs provided in the APFC Panel (ii) Calibration of effective management of power factor correction near to unity as per the variation of load in the corrrosponding transformer in terms of serviceability of MCCB/MCBs, Contactors, Capacitors and Relay and display unit inculding the following Technical services:- Note : (i) The Contractor will be responsible for maintaining the power factor near to unity on induvidual APFC Panels and overhaul the value at main Receiving Stn . Contractor will responsible for, the penalty/ compensation charges which charged by CESC, due to Low Power factor and same amount should be paid by the contractor from his own account. The above quoted rate is inclusive of all regarding to maintain the APFC Panel power factor. (ii ) The Capacitors, Contactors, Relays, MCCB replaced will be measured and Paid separetly under relevant items. (iii) Labour charges for dismantling / taking down and replacement/refixing new parts as and when required is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted.
