PROVISION OF STANDBY HTUG XLPE CABLE FROM OTD HT SUBSTATION TO MRS AT CVRDE AVADI

M & L XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, earthed electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminum conductor, 11000 volts, grade cross sectional area 150 Sq.mm, 3 core, HT U/G cable laid in trenches/ through GI pipe/fixed along pole etc complete all as specified and directed. Note Earthwork and GI pipe shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of schedule.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and getting out in hard/ dense soil. Note: Excavation work to be carried out mannually owing to many of the XLPE HT UG cables already passing thorugh from OTD to MRS sub STN

Retruning, filling, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cms of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing the surplus excavated materisl/soil to a distance not exc 50Mtrs and depositing, where directed at a level not exceeding 2.5 Mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed.

Supply and spread sand for sand cushioning of cables in trenches all as specified in MES Schedule Part-I and all as directed. Note: Punned thickness only will be measured and paid.

M&L un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, type 1 with peak, size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm complete all as specified and directed

Supply and laying GI pipe “light Grade” in trenches/under floors or roads or along the pole incl clamp with suitable nuts & bolts for protection of cables for the size 100mm dia bore.

Material and labour for Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120sqmm to 185 sqmm.

Material and labour for Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120sqmm to 185 sqmm.

M&L for Cutting of road to a width of 45cm and depth not exceeding 90cm for laying of protection pipe / cable including returning and filling, spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers and making good with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 for top 100mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cast iron cable route indicator oval shaped of size 200mm x 150mm x 6mm thick with letters embossed as " HT UG CABLE " fixed on 25mmx 25mmx 6mm MS angle iron of 50 cms long embedded in PCC block 200mmx 200mm x 200mm with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm stone aggregate including 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on exposed steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
