Repair and Top overhauling of Diesel Engine driven generating set 4 cylinder of cap 125 KVA Make - Kirloskar installed at HQ U Force Kiari power house complete with the following works and replacement of minor spare parts under para Note (ii) and major parts under para 2.01 to 2.27:- (a) Disconnecting the electric connection of the alternator, decoupling from engine and disconnecting unsv/serviceable parts for repair/ replacement such as inlet/outlet manifold, turbocharger, FIP, air cleaner, fuel injectors, cylinder head, tappet cover, cylinder linner, piston assy, connecting rod assy, exhaust valve seat, insert valve seat, fuel pump, L.O. pump, oil pump, piston assy, crank shaft etc. at site and cleaning the reusable parts with Keroscene oil for reuse all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (b) Transportation of unserviceable parts such as cylinder block, cylinder head, oil pump , FIP, L.O. pump, oil pump, injector nozzles, crank shaft etc. obtain from the above DG sets at site i.e. HQ U Force Kiari power house to Kirloshkar company or Cummins authorised Work shop at Chandigarh for repair, rectification of defects and retransportation of repaired parts/assembled engine from workshop to installation complete.

(c) Computerised checking of cylinder block for its defects/ leakage in oil and rectification of the same by X ray welding or otherwise as per manufacturer's specification. (d) Grinding, polishing & facing of cylinder heads in and including replacement of seats and minor repair to cylinder head all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (e) Re-assembling the Engine and alternator complete and connecting the alternator and coupling with engine complete after repair/ replacement of serviceable/unsv spare parts incl testing and commissioning of DG set on full load upto desired satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge complete. Note :-The major spare parts required for overhauling of engine shall be measured and paid separately under Sch A Part I Item No. 2.01 to 2.27. (ii) Minor spare parts such as plain machined washer, set screw, joint, set bolt, O rings, washer, spring dowel, dowel pin, bolts, pins, nuts, banjo bolts, copper washer etc for proper functioning of DG sets deemed to be included in the item rate.

Calbiration of injector assembly including replacement of injector cups, barrel,nozzles, O-rings screen filter and setting the oil pressure with testing suitable for 125 KVA DG Set , Make:- Kirloskar and complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Repair/servicing self starter by supply and fixing including taking out the following parts ,(a). Field Coil (b).Armature Winding (c ).Bush (d). Solenoid switch (Gear) for 125 KVA DG Sets Make : Kirloskar

Calibration of FIP, replacement of FIP kit, gasket set, washers, nuts,plungers,delivery valves, oil pump , O ring and set the oil pressure with testing suitable for 125 KVA DG set complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make-Kirloskar.

Dismantling the radiator from the engine of 125 KVA DG set installed at HQ U Force Kiari power house and transporting the radiator from site to workshop. Dismantling the radiator in and including descaling ,gas welding the leaking tube whichever required for proper functioning of radiator. After repair retransportation from workshop to site and fixing the same with engine as existing and reseting to complete satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling/Disconnecting the alternator from the DG Set 125 KVA, and taking the altornator to authorised worksp, M & L for taking out burnt out winding of Alternator of DG Sets 125 Make : Kirloskar including re-winding with copper wire of superior quality of existing size, No. of turns including varnishing, heating incl replacement of carbon brush, bearing both side and refixing the same on the DG Set complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge

Dismantling disconnecting Turbo charger from 125 KVA DG Sets supply and fixing the same complete as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.Make Kirloskar.

Dismantling/ disconnecting UNSV Battery 150AH from the DG Set supply and fixing the same complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge Make EXIDE.

01 x 63 KVA DG Set Repair and Top overhauling of Diesel Engine driven generating set 6 cylinder of cap 63 KVA Make - Kirloskar installed at Nyoma power house complete with the following works and replacement of minor spare parts under para Note (ii) and major parts under para 20.01 to 20.26:- (a) Disconnecting the electric connection of the alternator, decoupling from engine and disconnecting unsv/serviceable parts for repair/ replacement such as inlet/outlet manifold, turbocharger, FIP, air cleaner, fuel injectors, cylinder head, tappet cover, cylinder linner, piston assy, connecting rod assy, exhaust valve seat, insert valve seat, fuel pump, L.O. pump, oil pump, piston assy, crank shaft etc. at site and cleaning the reusable parts with Keroscene oil for reuse all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (b) Transportation of unserviceable parts such as cylinder block, cylinder head, oil pump , FIP, L.O. pump, oil pump, injector nozzles, crank shaft etc. obtain from the above DG sets at site i.e. Nyoma power house or Kirloskar authorised Work shop at Chandigarh for repair, rectification of defects and retransportation of repaired parts/assembled engine from workshop to installation complete.
