Providing and laying in position of plain cement concrete using hard granite broken stone for all insitu levelling courses in foundations, floor, roof screeding, encasing pipes, etc., including mechanical mixing, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, dewatering, if any including the cost of formwork etc., all complete as per specifications.

Providing and casting insitu Reinforced Cement Concrete 1 : 1.5 : 3 using machine crushed hard broken granite stone of nominal size 20mm including mechanical mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidation, curing, finishing smooth all exposed faces, for all insitu concrete items, etc. as per drawings and specifications. Note: The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and formwork which will be paid for separately under relevant items.

Supplying, placing in position and removing Formwork for all insitu concrete works including sloped roof and arches etc., as per drawings and specifications, all centering, scaffolding complete (Note: Measurement for the formwork shall be the area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces).

Providing, cutting, bending, placing and binding steel reinforcement using TMT bars of Fe-500 / Fe-500D grade in all reinforced cement concrete works including cutting, bending, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire, cost of cover blocks in C.M 1:2, etc., complete as per specifications and drawings. Important Note: The required quantity of steel reinforcement as mentioned in the schedule should be procured by the contractor only of SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (VIZAG), TATA Steel & JINDAL from authorised dealers which shall conform to IS: 1786 (Latest Edition).

Providing, hoisting and fixing in position 50mm thick Precast RCC jali at all lifts of approved pattern and size as per drawing with cement concrete 1:1.5:3 including required nominal reinforcement, curing, smooth finished surface with float coat of neat cement on all sides, fixing and jointing with CM 1:3, scaffolding etc., all complete as per drawing and specification.

Providing, hoisting and fixing in position of following thickness of precast slabs in cement concrete 1:2:4 using hard broken stones of maximum size 20mm finished smooth of various sizes and patterns including necessary formwork and moulds, mechanical mixing, finishing the exposed surface, curing, fixing at all levels, grouting with CM / Cement grout wherever required, etc., all complete excluding cost of reinforcement which will be measured separately under relevant item as per specifications and as direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Painting over all exposed surfaces at all heights over rough cast plaster/plain plaster with Two Coats of premium exterior emulsion paint of make Asian (APEX - Dust proof exterior emulsion) / Berger (Anti dustt weather coat) or other approved equivalent make of approved shade over a coat of exterior wall primer of make Asian / Berger or other approved equivalent make including including preparation of surfaces by scrubbing / cleaning the fungus / stains, cleaning with water, filling the cracks with approved crack filler and including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, curing, scaffolding at all lifts, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Painting over Plain Plaster at all lifts.

Providing and fixing Marble / Granite work gang saw cut mirror polished, (pre moulded and prepolished slab) machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size of approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20mm thick base cement mortar 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) with joints treated with white cement mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, etc., including rubbing, curing, finishing, providing holes of required diameter, providing opening to fix counter basins, providing grooves wherever required, etc., all complete at all levels as per specifications. (Note: The marble/Granite stones slab shall be got approved by the Engineer before making bulk order.)

Providing and laying of Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) for Sub-base and base course conforming to clause 406 of MORT&H Specification for road and bridge works (Fifth Revision) using 53mm downgraded stone aggregate including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregate, premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver/motor grader in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, etc., all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying factory made precast Kerb stone of M-20 grade cement concrete of size 100mm thick & 500mm ± 50mm depth with suitable interlocking arrangement, top chamfering of size 50x70 mm or as approved size including excavation, conveying, laying the precast kerb blocks in position to the required line, level and curvature, making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), jointing / pointing the joints with cement mortar 1:3, refilling the sides, compacting, making drainage opening wherever required, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed. (Note: Length of finished Kerb edging shall be measured for payment and Precast kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge.)

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge prefabricated cement concrete interlocking Solid / perforated paver block of M-30 grade made by table vibratory method using PU moulded with strong vibratory compaction of approved size, design, shape, laid in required colour and pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand including cost of sand filling, levelling with required slope, ramming the surface, watering, consolidation using vibratory earth rammers, filling the joints with sand, cleaning, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in­charge.

Supplying, fabricating and fixing Structural Steel work in built up sections for gate, handrailing, trusses and framed work at all lifts comprising square / rectangular / Tubular hollow sections conforming to relevant IS standard of TATA or SAIL or approved equivalent make including cutting, welding, bending to required shape for curved profile, hoisting, fixing in position at all lifts, embedding with cement concrete, painting the exposed faces with 2 coats of metal coat PU finish paint of make MRF or other approved make over one coat of epoxy zinc phosphate primer with thinner 1110 Ep for epoxy primer and thinner for finish for metal coat paint as per manufacturer instructions, etc., all complete as per specifications and drawings. [Note: The rate shall be inclusive of lifting arrangements if any required to hoist, concrete embedment's and foundation bolts for fixing the steel works.]

Supplying laying and jointing of RCC hume pipes with collars of class NP-2 as per IS specifications including aligning to proper level and line as directed at site, jointing with Cement Mortar 1:2, curing, etc., complete as per specification.

Dismantling RR Masonry in cement mortar at all lifts including stacking of RR stone, clearing and depositing the debris within a distance of 100 metres all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disposal of surplus excavated earth / Debris by collecting, loading, transporting by mechanical means and unloading them at places as shown by the Department within a lead specified below and levelling, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack / truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Labour charges for planting of ornamental plants like Areca palm, Royal palm, Furcaria, Hibiscus, Clerodendron, Duranta etc., with minimum height of 0.3m including earth work excavation,spreading and filling of red earth, farmed manure to an average thickness of 50mm and transporting the plants from department nursery to site, making pits, initial watering, weeding and conveyance from nursery etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer - In - Charge. Note: 1) Plants will be supplied by the department at free of cost. 2) Cost of Red earth and manure will be paid for separately under relevant items.

Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees in garden area by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming the unwanted growth of grasses as required including running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, cleaning and sweeping of lawn area, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards as shown by the department, watering the trees both inside & outside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. Note: 1) The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of cut grass, leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2) The rate shall also includes cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening and measures to be taken to prevent the entry of goats, cattles etc., 3) The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m area maintained per month. 4) Contractor has to make his own arrangements for lawn movers. If departmental lawn mover is available it will be provided by department on chargeable basis. 5) If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate of 30 paise/Sq.m per month will be charged as penalty from each RA Bill. 6) For every 1800 Sq.m. of lawn area, contractor should engage minimum 1 Labour for regular maintenance. 7) The area to be maintained per month is 16050 Sq.m. As such, total area to be maintained under this contract is 6 Months x 1800 Sq.m = 10,800 Sq.m.
