2.31Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

6.1.MO Cleaning the existing W.B.M. road surface including removing of binding material and other foreign matter with wire brushes and small picks, sweeping with brooms or soft brushes and finally dusting with old gunny bags and/or compressed air to receive bituminous treatment. As per clause no 502.4.2 and 503.3.1 of MOST specification.

6.5F.1.MO Providing and applying tack coat on the prepared surface, heating bitumen in boiler and spraying the bitumen with sprayset fitted on bitumen boiler - on ranular base such as WBM and WMM surfaces not bitumen primed. Rate of application 10kg/10sqm.

5.5 Providing, laying and rolling of built-up spray grout layer over prepared base consisting of a two layer composite construction of compacted crushed coarse aggregates using motor grader for aggregates. Key stone chips spreader may be used with application of bituminous binder after each layer and with key aggregates placed on top of the second layer to serve as a base conforming to the line, grades and cross-section specified ,the compacted layer thickness being 75mm. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th revision)

5.1 Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 g/sqm using mechanical means. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

5.3B Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant of capacity not less than 40 -60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 507.7 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, to achieve the desired compaction. - using grade II metal and bitumen 60/70 grade.

5.2 Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg. per sqm. on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

5.7B Providing and laying semi-dense bituminous concrete with HMP of capacity not less than 40 - 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 to 5 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 508 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, complete in all respects - Using grade-II material and using birumen 60/70 grade.

NS-60 Providing and laying unscreened gravel boulders to a consolidated thickness of 15cm for sub base course including conveyance of site, loading unloading and stacking to departmental guage on road side for premeasurement and spreading watering, power rolling etc., complete. The volume of stacks calculated as per actual measurement shll be reduced by 15% for looseness in stacking to arrive at the quantity. The rate to include labour charges for spreading and hand packing to required camber and gradient, power rolling hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed, diversion of traffic barricading arrangements etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
