REPAIR/MAINT OF CEILING/WALL/EXHAUST FAN, GEYSER AND PETTY REPAIR TO ELECTIRC SYSTEM AT VSB AND ATTENDING OF INTERNAL /EXTERNAL ELECTRICITY COMPLAINT IN TECH AREA, VAYUSENABAD, MES COLONY AND VSV UNDER GE (AF) TUGHLAKABAD

Disconnecting, taking down & removing carefully the ceiling fan, exhaust fans, wall bracket fans, Pedestal Fans and air circulating fans etc, from existing position, from any height, of any description, any sweep and from any position / locations, sealing cable end, for repairs / servicing / overhauling / painting / numbering etc and hanging / fixing the repaired fans in same position or at position as directed by EIC after, dismantling & opening of the fans, checking serviceability of parts, overhauling by necessary cleaning, oiling & greasing, fixing the serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective/ unserviceable parts, if any, with new parts, reassembling the fans, making necessary adjustment and proper alignment of blades, connecting to existing electric sources with using new 1.5 Sqmm 3 core multistrandd PVC insulated copper wire (FRLS) to required length and testing at site to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing charges for new items are deemed to be included under this item. (ii) Burnt out windings replaced, shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) The rates for above items are deemed to include for transportation of fans to & from workshop if required and approved by the Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs. (iv) Remetaling of motor shaft, polishing and grinding and making to standard size to matching with GM Bush shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of Sch ‘A’ (v) Writing of fan No. and painting of fans shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of Sch ‘A’

Taking out & removing old burnt-out windings of electric fans of any description and rewinding of fan motor with appropriate size super enameled copper wire(Gauge/weight of copper coils shall be as per existing fans) as approved by the Engineer-in-charge including insulating material such as illuminous paper, Letherized paper, cotton tape, glass sleeving, insulating varnish etc testing at workshop and transportation to site, connecting and testing on full load to the entire satisfaction including painting of fans of any description (ceiling fan/exhaust fan/Air circulators/Wall mounted fans/Pedestal fan) with applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (White/grey) by spray machine including preparation of existing decorated surfaces of fans including engraving / painting MES No. on fan in capital letters of height not less than 20 mm on fan body complete as directed Engineer-in-charge for the following Fans:-

Taking down carefully storage type water heater (Geyser) after disconnecting of electric/water connections, removing all scale & dirt by descaling of depositing inner, outer tank & heating elements by HCL or aquat clear pidilite solution, stoppage of minor leaking by soldering/brazing of inner CU tank & replacement of defective/wornout/unserviceable nuts, washers(New components/parts shall be measured & paid separately as supply only herein after) & refixing geyser in its original location including hoisting connecting to water, electrical connection & testing proper functioning of geyser including earthing to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge for various makes of geysers of following capacity:- Note: Necessary spare parts like Non return valve, stop valve, bib tap/ PVC connection /Copper connections cable, glass wool, element, thermostat, storage tank, geyser assembly, indicator etc shall be measured and paid separately.

Note: Spare parts shall be Measured separately except minor spare parts such as screw, nuts, bolts, washers etc. shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted (i) Tools, ladder required to carry out the work shall be provided by the contractor. (ii) Contractor will ensure the safety of the workers employed at his own risk.(iii) Contractor shall provided Skilled ITI Electrician and Produce the Certificate for the commencement of work.

Dismantling and refixing ceiling fan after complete cleaning of dust, applying a coat of painting on ceiling fan complete with synthetic enamel paint by spraying including filling cavities with filler, writing MES Noon ceiling fan and connecting up and including provision of cable from ceiling rose to connector to foundation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling & refixing only exhaust fan after complete cleaning all dust, one coat of painting of exhaust fan complete with synthetic enamel paint by spraying including filling cavities with filler, writing MES No on exhaust fan and connecting up and including provision of cable from ceiling rose to connector to fdn complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling & refixing water storage type of 25 Ltrs complete with help of anchor fasteners, nuts, bolts making necessary electrical connections and water connection with new PVC Connection of 15 mm size heavy duty internally steel coated ISI Marked of length 600 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling & refixing LED Tube Light any type and size complete with clamp making necessary electrical connections complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Labour only for attending complaints in tech area of any nature pertaining to internal electrification, ceiling/wall/exhaust fan/air circulator, fault finding, short circuiting, No light of any nature any where reported by users, bldg lights including flood lights/high bay Light fitting of any wattage at height of15 to 18 mtr, LT control panel, main distribution board, sub distribution board and connected wiring/control LT cables of size of any type and any location and locating the fault and rectification of the fault and replacing the burnt out items as per site requirement incl making connection and testing after completion of job complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Labour only for attending elect complaints under Vayusenabad of any nature pertaining to internal electrification, ceiling Fan/Geyser /exhaust fan/or, fault finding, short circuiting, No light of any nature any where reported by users, bldg light, main distribution board, and connected wiring/control LT cables of size of any type and any location and locating the fault and rectification of the fault and replacing the burnt out items as per site requirement incl making connection and testing after completion of job complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note for item no. 92 & 93 :- (i) The T&P items and testing lamp shall be provided by the Contractor at his own cost. (ii) Any spare required for rectification/replacement will be paid under relevant items. (iii) Work period should be 09 month from date of commencement. (iv) Any spare required for rectification/replacement will be paid under ser no 94 to 142 items. (v) The Contractor or his authorized representative (with mobile phone) shall remain in the complaints cells of GE (AF) TKD located in Tech area & VSB daily for collection of complaint slip from the concerned JE E/M.

(vi) Contractor will supply following well experienced and well conversant team GENERAL NATURE COMPLAINTS at 1000 Hrs to 1800 Hrs & URGENT NATURE COMPLAINTS –24 Hrs at a time for attending elect complaints all working days including Sunday & all Holidays. (vii) The date/time and nature of complaint URGENT or GENERAL shall be indicated on each complaint slip by JE E/M. (viii) Replacement of the items shall be measured and paid separately under serial item no 94 to 142. (ix) All complaint slip shall be returned by the contractor in the complaints cells of GE (AF) TKD daily or same day upto 1700 Hrs to the JE E/M or his representative after necessary repair/ replacement have been carried out and signature of the user on the complaint slip. It is responsibility of the contractor for rectification of complaint to be satisfied by the users. URGENT NATURE OF COMPLAINT: Within 02 Hrs AND GENERAL NATURE COMPLAINTS: Upto 1700Hrs. In Case of failure to rectify the defect in complaints within this time, recovery shall be made from the Contractors @ Rs 500/- per Hrs for Each urgent nature complaint & @ Rs 200/- per day for each general nature complaints. A pucca bound register shall be maintained for this purpose which shall always be kept in custody of JE E/M indicating date. A recovery of missing complaints slip shall be made at rate of @ Rs 10. from the contractor. In case of absent of team Rs. 1000/day per person shall be recovered from contractor's dues.
