Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimiming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections and transporting to embankment location with all lifts and leads upto 1.0 km within airport premises as per satisfaction and direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
Supplying, filling, spreading & leveling gravels of size range 5 mm to 10 mm, beside both side of covered drain, over the backfill, in required thickness, for all leads & lifts, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge With material conforming to Grade-I (size range 75 mm to 0.075 mm) having CBR Value-30
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

In case the cement content in design mix is more than 1.10 times of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement.

Construction of embankment with obtained earth from cutting and excavation at site in layers not exceeding 20cm (loose) in depth (or any thickness as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge in case vibratory roller / soil compactor is used) including breaking clods, watering, consolidating each layer with power road roller 8-10 tonnes weight or vibratory roller /soil compactor of adequate capacity under optimum moisture content condition to give the maximum laboratory dry density(standard proctor density) as per table 300 - 2 of morth specifications complete including leveling fine dressing to the required grade, camber and slope complete as per MORTH specifications and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (Payment to be made for compacted quantity only).
Construction of embankment with earth obtained from borrow pits/quarry with all lifts and lead upto 5.0 km transported to site spreading, grading to required slope in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth or any thickness as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge in case vibratory roller / soil compactor is used) including breaking clods, watering, consolidating each layer with power road roller 8-10 tonnes weight or vibratory roller /soil compactor of adequate capacity under optimum moisture content condition to give the maximum laboratory dry density(standard proctor density) as per table 300 - 2 of morth specifications complete including leveling fine dressing to the required grade, camber and slope complete as per MORTH specifications and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (Payment to be made for compacted quantity only.) (Borrow pit/quarry shall be made available by AAI).
Carrying out Topographical and contour surveying, traversing, contouring & coordinating all permanent and semi-permanent feature by Total station survey instrument including mobilization and demobilization of the survey team after completion of survey work at Airport premises of operational area as per direction of the Engineer in-charge. The following steps shall be taken up: i. Carrying out site survey and taking reduced level on 3m x 3m grid. ii. Submission of sets of contour map in suitable scale and size with marking important landmarks- (3 (three) nos. coloured hard copies & 1 (one) soft copy. iii. Submission of level sheet in Excel format (Hard copy & soft copy) with quantity calculation for cutting & filling of earth required as per the gradient which shall be decided by the Engineer in charge as per DGCA-CAR (Civil Aviation Requirement) iv. Submission of Invert Level of RCC Storm water drain to be constructed and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. v. The requisite all survey works for execution of earthwork, quantity work out for Running/Final Bill shall also be included in the scope of survey work.
