Description/Scope of work:

1. A. Scope of Work for Repairing / overhauling of Engine model 6BT: 1. Complete dismantling of Engine assy. 2. Thorough cleaning of Engine Block and engine head assy with cleaning agent/ chemicals. 3. Removal of failed component from engine block and engine head assy. 4. Line boring of six nos cylinders. 5. Replacement of new cylinder liner and press fitting. 6. Replacement of Pistons and piston rings, oil seals and inserts. 7. Replacement of connecting rods. 8. Crank shaft cleaning and grinding. 9. Replacement of crank shaft bearing, main bearing, thrust washer and bolts. 10. Replacement/ repairing of head assy along with inlet valves exhaust valve, seat and guide etc. 11. Replacement gaskets and seals of engine. 12. Assembling of engine. 13. Filling of new engine oil, fitment of new filters and fresh coolant. 14. FIP Calibration. 15. Repairing of Water Pump. 16. Starting of engine and final testing of parameters & vibrations etc. 1. B. Scope of Work for REPOWERING 1. Checking of fitment of mounting brackets of engine with chassis accordingly drilling tapping welding etc to be done. 2. Fitment of engine, radiator and pumps, water lines, fuel lines and air lines etc with proper alignment. 3. Drilling and tapping of pressure plate as per fly wheel. 4. Checking and adjustment of alignment of engine to hydraulic pump coupling. 5. Starting of engine and checking of vibration etc. 6. Recommissioning of engine in Tyre Handler Model MHT-X10180, sl. no. 770239 at Kusmunda project. (Note : Price must be quoted in lumpsum amount in totality for the above work.
